Page holder device
The present disclosure relates to a page holder device for holding the pages of a book open. The page holder device comprises an elongate arm that is configured to extend across pages of an open book and to apply pressure to the pages in order to hold the book in an open configuration, and an engagement element that is coupled to the arm and configured to be engaged by a user of the device in order to press the page holder device towards the book. The engagement element is movable along the arm between an inner position located in a central region of the arm and an outer position located towards an end of the arm in order to facilitate use of the device as both a page holder and a bookmark.

Dynamic pause includes initiating playback of an audio book using a user device; receiving a pause request as input to the user device, the pause request received at an input time index during playback of the audio book; retrieving a subset of candidate pause points, each candidate pause point comprising a time index within the audio book that corresponds to a break point located within an eBook corresponding to the audio book; selecting one of the candidate pause points from the subset, the time index of the selected candidate pause point determining a pause time index when playback is to be paused; and pausing the playback at the pause time index.

A hand held device for manually holding a multi-page document with a U-shaped element having a ring-shaped extension at one end of an elongated leg and a shorter leg parallelly spaced therefrom by a right angle extension at the opposite end of the elongated leg whereby the shorter leg is inserted between the pages along the inner side of the multi-page document's binding and the longer leg is positioned along the outer side of the multi-page document's binding such that a person can support the multi-page document with one hand by inserting, in part, a preselected finger of one hand through the ring-shaped extension.
