Interactive greeting card and gift card holders with a hinged mechanism which provide fun user interaction and triggers audio playback. Each greeting card and gift card holder includes portion thereof which hinges or pivots about an axis. When the greeting card or gift card holder is hinged, or pivoted about the hinge, one or more special effects are triggered. Special effects may include audio, emergence or ejection of a gift card holder (w/gift card) or gift card, the appearance of a thought or word bubble, or any other special effect.

A device is provided including a first sleeve for receiving a graphic medium, the first sleeve having a first window allowing the graphic medium to be viewed, and a second sleeve allowing an electronic appliance with a built-in electronic display to be received, the second sleeve including a second window allowing all of part of the electronic display to be viewed, the first and second sleeves being connected to each other. The first window allows the graphic medium to be viewed, which allows the personalization of the device.

A system for a greeting card. The greeting card has a planar greeting card portion and a greeting card cover moveably coupled to the planar greeting card portion. An apparatus for dispensing small objects is disclosed. The apparatus includes a frame forming an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The frame supports a rotatable barrel that is disposed between the chambers. The barrel is constructed from a folded rectangular sheet that forms a chamber with an opening. The rotatable barrel is oriented with the opening facing upward to receive objects from the upper chamber into the barrel's chamber, such that when the handle is rotated about a horizontal axis the barrel turns to orient the opening downward and deposit objects in the barrel's chamber into the lower chamber.

A printed article is described. The printed article includes first and second sheets and a circuit board interposed between the first and second sheets. The circuit board supports a coin cell holder adjacent to the second sheet. The second sheet has a slit arranged to form a flap over the coin cell holder which is configured to allow a coin cell to be re-insertably removed from the coin cell holder.

The disclosure relates to a package comprising a sleeve and an insert received in the sleeve, where the insert is movable between a retracted and extended configuration. The insert includes a carrier having a passage, and a band extending around a wall of the carrier and through the passage. The insert further includes a first member located within the passage when the insert is in the retracted configuration, the first member being attached to the band, wherein at least a portion of the band that overlies the wall is exposed for attachment to the sleeve of the package at a second coupling location on the exposed portion of the band.

An economical package including an inner sliding piece assembled inside of one or more outer sleeves, where the inner sliding piece may contain a gift card, loyalty card, product, or promotional messages, and the card, product or messages can be revealed by pulling the inner sliding piece at least partially out of the outer sleeve.
