See-through highlighter
A highlighter with a see-through area comprising a housing having a hollow body and an opening, an ink reservoir disposed inside the housing for storing ink, a nib disposed at the opening and an ink feeder disposed inside the housing for transporting ink from the ink reservoir to the nib. The housing further comprises a cut-out section disposed behind the nib to provide the see-through area for a user. The see-through area allows the user to see a section of text before highlighting. Alternatively, a section of the housing behind the nib can be constructed using transparent material such as plastic to provide a see-through area for a user.
APPLICATOR
An applicator includes a partition wall for partitioning between a storage chamber and a reservoir chamber, an application body that allows application of a liquid stored in the storage chamber, a relay member that transfers the liquid stored in the storage chamber passing through the partition wall toward the application body, a gas-liquid exchanging section formed at the partition wall for air-liquid exchanging with the liquid stored in the storage chamber, an occluding body that is disposed in the reservoir chamber, and in contact with the relay member for occluding the liquid, and a movement prevention section disposed at the relay member and/or the occluding body for preventing movement of the liquid held in the occluding body to the relay member.
APPLICATOR
The present invention to provide an applicator which can solve the problems such as attachment failure of an applying body of a brush due to part of the brush stuck remaining inside the front barrel when the brush-formed applying body is attached to the front barrel to thereby reliably attach the brush-formed applying body to the front barrel. The applicator includes: a rear barrel 20 storing an application liquid in a storage portion 21 inside a barrel cylinder; a front barrel 10 provided on the front end side of the rear barrel 20; and an applying body 40, formed of a brush with a flange portion 41 at its rear end, and arranged inside the front barrel 10 so as to supply the application liquid to the applying body 40 from the storage portion 21 inside the rear barrel 20, and is characterized in that a receiving part 42 of the flange portion 41 of the applying body 40 and the inner face of the front barrel 10 are in contact with each other in a non-surface contact manner.
WRITING, MARKING, AND/OR DRAWING LIQUID FOR CAPILLARY SYSTEMS, ESPECIALLY FOR APPLICATOR IMPLEMENTS HAVING A CAPILLARY SYSTEM, AND APPLICATOR IMPLEMENT
A writing, marking and/or drawing liquid, more particularly an aqueous, pigmented and/or water-blendable writing, marking and/or drawing liquid, is provided for capillary systems, more particularly for applicator implements having a capillary system. The liquid has a viscosity of less than 40 mPas, more particularly less than 10 mPas (Brookfield, 20 C., cone-plate CPE-40) and includes an aqueous pigment preparation, a binder, a base, and a dispersing wetting agent. The dispersing wetting agent includes an aqueous solution of a modified polymer having groups with pigment affinity. An applicator implement in which a writing, marking or drawing liquid of this kind is used is also provided.

Application pen with an inclined tip end
The invention relates to an application pen (10) for applying a fluid substance (S) on a body part, said application pen comprising an applicator head (12) made of a porous material (20), said applicator head comprising a first part (22) and a second part (24) inclined () relative to each other, said first and second parts being single-piece. The applicator head is obtainable by a method comprising the following steps: forming a rod made of the porous material, said rod extending parallel to the first axis and having a first transversal dimension; then removing a portion of porous material, by grinding, in an off-centered manner, from a segment of the rod, in order to reduce (27) the first transversal dimension of said segment, said segment including a junction (30) between the first and second parts.
Personal care implement
A personal care implement, such as an oral care implement, that includes a body containing a supply of a fluid. A flow barrier is positioned with a first surface adjacent to the supply of fluid and a second surface opposite the first surface. The flow barrier allows flow of the fluid through the flow barrier for application to a biological surface when the flow barrier is compressed and prevents or inhibits flow of another fluid that is in contact with the second surface of the flow barrier through the flow barrier in a static state. In certain embodiments, the fluid in the supply may have a first viscosity and a first surface tension and the another fluid may have a second viscosity and a second surface tension such that one of the first and second viscosities and one of the first and second surface tensions are different from each other.
Ink and method of conducting an examination
An ink and method of conducting an examination suitable for reducing the likelihood that the students' answers on paper-based examinations may be changed at a later time prior to being graded. The ink includes a solution of marking particles, a suspension material, and a preserving material. A mark made with the ink is initially erasable for a predetermined period of time after the mark is formed and after the expiration of the predetermined period of time the mark is not erasable. The method of conducting an examination includes providing an ink to an individual, and then providing questions to an individual wherein the individual indicates answers to the questions by producing marks with the ink.
Writing instrument
A writing implement is provided which is designed to draw lines using capillary action, wherein the width of the line can be freely adjusted while the line is being drawn and it is possible to draw lines of almost the same width at the beginning of the use of the writing implement as at the end of use. A felt-tip pen 1 is provided with an ink reservoir 11, a collector 17, and a core 29 for drawing by capillary action the ink that has been dispensed by the collector 17, dispensing the drawn ink from the tip, and adhering same to a paper surface. Even in repetitive writing, the rate of variability in the width of the lines drawn at the end of use with respect to the width of lines drawn at the beginning of use is 10% or less.
