ERGONOMIC TRAINING HARNESS FOR DOGS
An ergonomic training harness for use with an animal, the harness having a back panel with an outward-facing surface and an inward-facing surface and a chest panel with an outward-facing surface and an inward-facing surface. The harness also includes a chest strap having a first end and a second end, wherein each of the first end and the second end are coupled to the back panel. Additionally, the harness includes an underbelly strap coupled to the back panel, and a longitudinal strap coupled to the chest panel, the longitudinal strap having a first loop portion and a second loop portion. The chest strap is configured to pass through the first loop portion of the longitudinal strap and the underbelly strap is configured to pass through the second loop portion of the longitudinal strap.
Motion powered pet tracker system and method
A pet tracking device, system and method using a kinetic motion energy generator to generate electrical energy that is used to power a pet tracking mechanism are provided. The pet tracking device may include a housing on a wearable item, such as a collar, attached to the pet or may be injected underneath the skin of the pet.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND PROGRAM PRODUCTS FOR DIGITAL PET IDENTIFICATION
Systems and methods for identifying and tracking pets by use of a pet identification tag or image recognition techniques are disclosed. In exemplary embodiments, a mobile computing device communicates with a pet identification tag over a near-field communication link and a remote server over a wireless communication link. The mobile computing device is configured to identify a pet based on a unique identifier for the tag and/or to provide an image of a pet to the remote server, and to download information about the pet from the remote server using the unique identifier or pet image.
Multi-grip Animal Leash Handle and System and Method of Making the Same
A multi-grip handle apparatus for an animal leash or harness includes a tubular handle body having a first end with a first opening and a second end with a second opening. An annular handle body surface extends between the first end and second end and a central bore extends between the first and second openings. A first cord extends from the first opening, and a second cord extends from the second opening. The first and second cord are secured by a clasp which secures a third cord. The third cord is configured to connect to at least one animal leash, animal collar or animal harness. The handle body surface includes a first grip section laterally adjacent and spaced apart from a second grip section. The central bore contains a filler that prevents the first and second cords from contacting the first and second openings, respectively.
Animal collar
A collar for an animal includes an elongate piece of flexible material having a first end and a second end, the first and second ends configured to be releasably coupled together about the neck of an animal. The collar also includes a lighting system coupled to the piece of material. The lighting system includes a power source and an optical element coupled to the power source. The optical element is at least partially embedded within the piece of material and extends along a length direction between the first and second ends. The optical element further includes an LED that is configured to illuminate a portion of the optical element when the power source is turned on.
Electronic Notification Pet Collar
An electronic notification pet collar is shown and described. The pet collar includes a collar strap. The collar strap has an interior volume. The interior volume houses wiring connected to lighting and an external component module. The collar strap has an externally affixed component module that houses a CPU, a GPS module, a wireless transceiver, a mute button, a speaker, and a battery pack. The CPU is connected to a plurality of lights that are located through the collar strap. There is a speaker located within the external component module. The CPU and GPS are coupled to a wireless transceiver. The wireless transceiver is connected to a mobile device which is configured to set visual and audible alarms as well as control collar light display. The mobile device controls and activates the visual and audible alarms on the mobile device and collar as well as the GPS module.
Combination power pack retractable leash and collar having electronic charging, electronic animal keeper, and outdoor solar powered charging station
A combination of a power pack electronic retractable leash, and a collar comprised of electronic components for tracking an animal wearing the collar; the retractable leash has a casing comprised of a spool located therein and which collects a leash line when the leash line is retracted; a power pack and related electronic PCB for power management; the leash line has its distal end terminated with a leash socket configured and sized for fitting into a socket connector; the leash socket is equipped with an emitting induction coil and the socket connector on the collar is equipped with a receiving induction coil; when the leash socket is connected to the socket connector, both the emitting and receiving induction coils are positioned proximal to one another so that electrical current can circulates between them so that electricity from the retractable leash battery can charge the battery located on the collar.
Environmentally Aware Pet Leash
In embodiments, the environmentally aware pet leash may restrain the movements of a pet and monitor environmental conditions during a walk. An infrared thermometer within the pet leash may be pointed towards a walking surface in front of the pet. The pet leash may display the pavement temperature of the walking surface, on an operator display and may alert the use to pavement temperatures that lie outside of predetermined range of temperatures. A laser point that is aligned to display a visible spot at the center of the area may show the user where the pavement temperature is being determined. The pet leash may also display and alert based upon data from a plurality of environmental sensors and a distance/route tracker and may report environmental conditions, alerts, distances, or routes to a remote computer using a transceiver.
Animal Harness
An animal harness is flexible and includes a dorsal portion and a ventral portion removably coupled together. A front and rear sections of the harness include engagement members coupling the dorsal and ventral portions thereby providing a front opening, leg openings and a rear opening. The harness includes a plurality of attachment members. The modular design of the animal harness allows accessories to be securely attached or removed to and from the attachment members, which reduces manufacturing costs, as each accessory does not require its own method of securely attaching to the animal. The animal harness also allows modules to be added or replaced individually, reducing the cost of ownership, and also allows future accessories to integrate into the existing harness without having to replace the entire harness.
