ANIMAL COLLAR
A collar for an animal includes an elongate piece of flexible material having a first end and a second end, the first and second ends configured to be releasably coupled together about the neck of an animal. The collar also includes a lighting system coupled to the piece of material. The lighting system includes a power source and an optical element coupled to the power source. The optical element is at least partially embedded within the piece of material and extends along a length direction between the first and second ends. The optical element further includes an LED that is configured to illuminate a portion of the optical element when the power source is turned on.
Animal tethering, assistive cane, and personal defense combination device
An animal tethering, assistive cane, and personal defense combination device incorporating user mobility and self-defense features includes a housing that defines an interior space. A leash is coupled to the housing and is positioned in the interior space. The leash is retractable type so that a cord of the leash is selectively extensible from the housing through an aperture. A user is positioned to couple the cord to a domestic animal to leash the domestic animal. A pole that is coupled to and extends from the housing comprises a plurality of nested sections so that the pole is selectively extensible and configured to serve as a mobility aid. A stun gun that is coupled to the pole distal from the housing is configured to administer an electrical shock to an attacker to incapacitate the attacker.
SERVICE ANIMAL REAL-TIME MONITORING SYSTEM
A service animal real-time monitoring system for monitoring a location of a service animal and controlling operation of one or more light modules associated with the service animal. A user device may interface, at least indirectly, with the one or more light modules to provide control commands from a human operator to the one or more light modules and to receive location information from a GPS receiver associated with the service animal.
MULTI-FUNCTION HAND WEIGHT AND METHOD
A multi-function hand weight includes a handle having a grip axis, a first end and a second end opposite the first end along the center axis. The handle includes a first handle compartment inside the handle and proximate the first end. The hand further includes a second handle compartment inside the handle and proximate the second end. A first stowage compartment is located on the first end of the handle. A first weight affixes to the first stowage compartment and creates a seal to close the first stowage compartment. A second weight affixes to the second stowage compartment and creates a seal to close the second stowage compartment. The handle and compartments together as a whole have the profile of a dumbbell weight. The multi-function hand weight is useful for discreetly carrying pet supplies.
Method for Making Reflective and Self-Luminous Substrate and the Application Thereof
A method includes pressing a macromolecular material to form a successive reflective layer, heating the reflective layer to a preset temperature value, stirring luminous powder and fluorescent powder at a high speed so that the luminous powder and the fluorescent powder are mixed evenly to form a luminous blank, evenly painting the luminous blank on the reflective layer, drying the luminous blank at a predetermined temperature value to form a luminous layer, and cooling the reflective layer and the luminous layer to produce a substrate which has reflective and self-luminous features. Thus, the luminous layer of the substrate emits light in a dark environment by reflection of the reflective layer of the substrate.
Safety illumination device for a horse
An illumination device capable of being mounted to a horse's tail, mane, or other parts of the horse, for alerting an observer of the presence of the horse. The illumination device includes one or more strands of lights in a parallel arrangement.
WIRELESS LIGHTED ANIMAL RESTRAINT FOR ILLUMINATING AN ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE RESTRAINT
An illuminated animal restraint includes an elongated leash which has a housing having a selectively enabled wireless lighting assembly. The wireless lighting assembly has a light source connected via a wireless connection to a light transmitting member extending through said tube thereby illuminating the entire length and all sides of the leash. The wireless light assembly may include at least one Light Emitting Diode assembly and a light transmitting member may include fiber optics.
MAGNETIC LEASH AND MAGNETIC ACCESSORIES
Pet products may include a leash of material, a handle on one end and a releasable clasp opposite the handle for attachment to a collar or a harness of a pet. A leash magnet is affixed to the material and located between the handle and the releasable clasp. An accessory, such as a pet toy, has an accessory magnet. The accessory may be magnetically and repeatably coupled to and detached from the leash magnet on the leash.
ERGONOMIC PET HARNESS WITH ENHANCED RETRACTABLE LEASH
An ergonomic pet harness with an enhanced retractable leash is provided. The harness includes a harness assembly coupled to the pet, a leash mechanism with a housing coupled to the harness assembly and having an upper slot and a side opening, a rotatable spool disposed within the housing and having an upper face with a plurality of compartments disposed thereon, and a string member wound around the spool and extending out the housing's side opening, and a brake member detachably coupled to the housing's upper slot. The brake member has a protrusion designed to extend into one of the plurality of compartments in the spool to restrict rotation of the spool based on movement of the protrusion within the one of the plurality of compartments, thereby maintaining a desired length of the string member extended out the housing's side opening.
SOUND COLLECTOR, ANIMAL EMOTION ESTIMATION DEVICE, AND ANIMAL EMOTION ESTIMATION METHOD
An animal emotion estimation device includes: a sound collector configured by an elastic member having a recess, a sound concentrating microphone provided on the bottom portion of the recess, and an impact absorber covering the entire of the elastic member and the sound concentrating microphone; a harness to mount the sound collector on an animal; a converter that filters and converts the sound collected through the sound collector into a heart rate signal; an estimation portion that estimates the emotion of the animal based on the heart rate signal; and an output unit that supplies information showing the estimation estimated by the estimation portion.
