A canine feces catching device for removal of excrement includes a leash that includes an extendable cord; a radio controller within the leash for control of the feces catching device; a button on the leash for operation of the radio controller; a moving element that moves along the cord in response to a signal from the radio controller; a platform formed as either as a widened part of the extendable cord or as a separate wider element supported by the leash; the moving element including a collecting device supported by the platform and configured to move along the platform and to stop at a predetermined location; a soft insert for the collecting device; a movement stopper that limits movement of the device along the platform; and a guiding rod for positioning the collecting device on the platform in a forward or backward direction.

A pet light-emitting safety device includes a light guide bar and a light source controller controlling light transmitting to the light guide bar. The light guide bar includes a light-emitting body and fixing portions connected to the light-emitting body. The fixing portions define end surfaces configured to input the light. A health and safety system and method are described for use on equines, canines and felines, in order to obtain data on vital life-sustaining or life-threatening processes and signs directly from the animal. The vital life-sustaining and/or life-threatening processes and/or signs in the form of data are communicated from the animal to a site remote from the equine, canine and feline. The remotely communicated data can be archived and/or communicated to a veterinarian/owner/steward/or other designate, to induce human intervention. Other sensors of the health and safety system can read/report environmental conditions, such as weather, or report other environmental conditions, such as smoke/pollution remote from, and/or proximate the animal. A position locator, such as a GPS, may also be built into the equine health and safety system. The equine health and safety system may include a halter/hackamore/bridle/harness or other components, such as a medallion, provided with a QR, or other codes, that can be read by a smart phone to put the telephone into contact with a veterinarian, an owner, stable or other authorized care custodian of the equine, canine or feline. A method of providing at least one response to the read vital life processes and signs, such as warming the equine, canine or feline, is also described.

A system and method for identifying a service animal, include an identification device associated with the service animal. The identification device identifies the service animal. The identification device includes a storage medium that stores service animal profile data that includes information identifying the service animal. The service animal profile data is configured to be analyzed by an admission sub-system to confirm an identify of the service animal.

A lighted pet harnessing device for illuminating an area in front of a pet includes a harness that is configured to couple to a pet and a leash. A lighting module that is coupled to a front of the harness is configured to illuminate an area in front of the pet when the harness is coupled to the pet.

Disclosed modular animal collar systems include a D ring exoskeleton system, a breakaway latch tongue system and other systems. Disclosed collars include auto release systems to ensure that collars do not choke or otherwise injure a pet. Collars include sophisticated electronics to commutate with a pet owner's smart phone but also include means of communication not requiring the use of a smart phone. Collars may include a base collar containing a micro controller and other computer related components. Surrounding modular components may contain additional equipment and may be added as needed by a pet owner. Disclosed collar functions are executed by the disclosed collars and facilitate the retrieval, care and training of a pet.

A multi-grip handle apparatus for an animal leash or harness includes a tubular handle body having a first end with a first opening and a second end with a second opening. An annular handle body surface extends between the first end and second end and a central bore extends between the first and second openings. A first cord extends from the first opening, and a second cord extends from the second opening. The first and second cord are secured by a clasp which secures a third cord. The third cord is configured to connect to at least one animal leash, animal collar or animal harness. The handle body surface includes a first grip section laterally adjacent and spaced apart from a second grip section. The central bore contains a filler that prevents the first and second cords from contacting the first and second openings, respectively.

An emergency alert system and method of operation are provided. The system includes an emergency alert pad configured to detect a pad activation by a service animal and communicate a pad alert in response. An emergency alert vest is worn by the service animal and is configured to detect a vest activation by a person in proximity and communicate a vest alert in response. A user mobile device is in communication with the emergency alert pad and vest and is configured to record a pre-recorded message. At least one affiliated mobile device is configured to receive the pre-recorded message during the pad activation and the vest activation. An emergency response center is in communication with the emergency alert pad and the emergency alert vest and is configured to receive at least one of the pad alert and the vest alert and provide emergency services accordingly.

Provided in the disclosure are durable, and washable, double-sided pet collar attachments. These pet collar attachments can be removably attached to pet collars. Each side of the pet collar attachments can have different designs. In this manner, the pet collars can be provided with a multitude of designs.
