ROLLER BEARING PRUNER
A pruner comprises a pair of handles held in cooperative movement relation by a pivot lubrication bolt. A bearing such as a needle roller bearing is employed to provide superior operation.
Gardening shears with improved shearing efficiency
A gardening shears includes two handles, a first shear blade connected to one handle and providing a suspension arm portion, a linking rod connected to the other handle, a second shear blade coaxially pivoted to the first shear blade and the linking rod and providing an elongated slot, and a control unit including an arched guide member fixedly connected with its one end to the linking rod and a guide wheel pivotally connected to the suspension arm portion of the first shear blade with a guiding protrusion thereof inserted into the elongated slot of the second shear blade. Thus, when opening and closing the handles, the mating arrangement of the arched guide member, the guide wheel and the elongated slot of the second shear blade enables the first and second shear blade to implement the shearing action twice.

CUTTING DEVICE
A cutting device includes a jaw with a first jaw member and a second jaw member, a first handle attached to the first jaw member and a second handle rotatably connected to the second jaw member at a second pivot point, a gear including a first set of teeth and a second set of teeth at a first end of the second handle. The second handle is slidably connected to the second jaw member at the second pivot point to allow the second handle and the second set of teeth to move into a disengaged position where the second set of teeth are located at a distance from the first set of teeth. To ensure that the teeth of the gear engage correctly, a slide lock is in an enabling state allowing the second handle and the second set of teeth to slide in a slide direction from the disengaged position to the engaged position only when the first set of teeth and the second set of teeth are aligned into a mutually predetermined position.
Cygnus Medical LLC
In one or more embodiments a system of foldable shears is provided, comprising a pair of shearing blades, each blade having a sharp side and a blunt side. The blades are connected to handles via a hinge, and the handles have one side that is straighter and another side that is more rounded or irregularly shaped. One of the blades includes a backward facing hook on the blade's blunt side. Additionally, the blunt side may have partially sharpened serrations or other features. The blades can fold about the hinge for easier transport and storage and the shears are configured so that the hook does not extend past the handles when folded to prevent catching the hook on anything or damaging any nearby equipment.
Fruit picker and branch trimmer
A fruit picker and branch trimmer comprising a frame or partial frame coupled to a stick, and at least one rotating jaw. The jaw is triggered by blades or pins coming in contact with the stem or branch, or by the fruit itself pushing on the jaw. Simply, the jaw rotates by only pulling on the stick. When a jaw rotates, its non-hinged sharp end presses the stem or branch on an obstacle, hence cutting the stem or branch. When two jaws rotate the stem or branch is cut when the sharp edges of the jaws come together. Another type of jaws has at least one elongated recess, when a stem or branch falls into the elongated recess it will be twisted and broken when the jaw rotates.

Garden shears
A garden shears has a first blade member, a second blade member, a controlling handle and a protecting member. The first blade member has a first cutting portion, a first aperture at a middle section, a first toothed section adjacent to the first aperture and below the first cutting portion. The second blade member has a second cutting portion, a second aperture at a middle section, a third aperture at a lower end. The controlling handle has a driving member with a fourth aperture and the second toothed section on a top edge at an upper section. The protecting member has a main body with two opposing ear portions, each ear portion having a fifth aperture and a sixth aperture.

Electric pole pruner
An electric pole pruner having a spring returned cutting head and equipped with a drive unit having an electric motor coupled to a drum via an epicyclic gear assembly is configured to reduce rotation speed and to increase torque. A string element is coupled to the drum of the drive unit, and to the cutting head so as to actuate the cutting head. The pole pruner further includes a locking arrangement to selectively lock or release a ring gear of the gear assembly so as to convert rotation of the electric motor into rotation of the drum when the ring gear is locked, and to convert rotation of the drum into rotation of the ring gear when the ring gear is released.
