Bicycle wheel
A bicycle wheel contains a rim, multiple spokes, and multiple abutting faces. The rim includes multiple through orifices, a hub, and multiple threaded orifices. Two intersected spokes are connected with two adjacent through orifices and two threaded orifices corresponding to the two adjacent through orifices respectively. Each spokes includes a first screwing section and a second screwing section. The second screwing section is screwed with each of multiple nuts and each of multiple second screw bushings. The multiple abutting faces are connected with the multiple spokes respectively. Each spoke includes an axial line defined along a center thereof. An angle is defined between each abutting face of the rim and the axial line of each spoke and is 90 degrees. Two connection sections are formed on two ends of each abutting face.
WHEEL HUB
A wheel hub has a tubular body having a rotational axis and at least one spoke attachment part protruding radially outward from the tubular body. The spoke attachment part includes a cavity, a first spoke attachment hole, a first spoke head contact surface, a second spoke attachment hole, and a second spoke head contact surface. The cavity includes a spoke insertion opening that opens from the spoke attachment part in an axially outward direction parallel to the rotational axis. The first spoke attachment hole extends from the cavity in a first direction. The first spoke head contact surface is located adjacent the first spoke attachment hole. The second spoke attachment hole extends from the cavity in a second direction. The second spoke head contact surface is located adjacent the second spoke attachment hole.
Bicycle hub assembly
A bicycle hub assembly comprises a hub axle, a hub body, a sprocket support body, and a freewheel structure. The sprocket support body includes at least ten external spline teeth configured to engage with a bicycle rear sprocket assembly. Each of the at least ten external spline teeth has an external-spline driving surface and an external-spline non-driving surface. The freewheel structure includes a first ratchet member and a second ratchet member. The first ratchet member includes at least one first ratchet tooth. The second ratchet member includes at least one second ratchet tooth configured to engage with the at least one first ratchet tooth in a torque transmitting manner.
BICYCLE WHEEL HUB STRUCTURE
The invention relates to bicycle wheel hub structure, wherein two sides of wheel hub’s hub body are provided with wheel hub disc sets. The wheel hub disc sets are spaced with outer and inner hub discs. When assembled with several wheel spokes and a wheel frame, one end of the several wheel spokes is fixedly combined with the wheel frame and the other end of which is fixedly combined with the outer hub disc and the inner wheel hub respectively, so to disperse the stress generated by the wheel spokes, avoiding excessive force on the outer hub or inner hub. The outer and the inner hub discs are arranged at intervals, so that the spokes will be in contact with each other when assembled, reducing friction and affecting structural strength and service life, and achieving convenient structural use and good structural use function.
Wheel rim assembly
A wheel rim assembly includes a hub with a case and two flanges are formed on two ends of the case. Multiple spoke units are connected between the two flanges of the hub and the inner periphery of the rim. Each spoke unit includes a first connection member and the first end of an X-shaped spoke extends from the first connection member. Each first connection member includes a first recessed area and a second recessed area respectively defined in the outside and the inside thereof. The second recessed area is matched with the flange corresponding thereto. Each first connection member includes an engaging recess and a protrusion. The protrusion of one first connection member is engaged with the engaging recess of the next first connection member. Two covers are respectively connected two ends of the hub. The second end of each spoke is inserted into reception recess of the rim.
BICYCLE RIM ADAPTED TO REDUCE SPOKE FATIGUE
A bicycle rim comprising a circumferential outer portion adapted to receive a tire and a spoke bed. The spoke bed may comprise a pattern of spoke attachment segments at varying tilt angles and spaced by intermediate segments. Each spoke attachment segment may comprise an inner surface, an outer surface and a spoke opening extending from the inner surface to the outer surface. The spoke opening may be sized to accommodate a spoke nipple. The spoke opening may have a central axis angled at a complex angle that is a combination of a respective camber angle and a respective crossing angle. The complex angle may be selected to achieve a respective spoke angle. The outer surface of the spoke attachment segment adjacent to the spoke opening may extend perpendicular to the central axis of the spoke opening.
SPOKED BICYCLE WHEEL AND SPOKE ATTACHMENT ELEMENT FOR SUCH A WHEEL
A spoke tension adjustment tool has a longitudinally elongated body with a central longitudinal cavity configured to house an end portion of a spoke. The housing has a longitudinal slit that allows the end portion of the spoke to enter the longitudinal cavity. The longitudinally elongated body has a grip portion and a shaped end portion configured to couple with a stem of a spoke attachment element. The shaped end portion is smaller than the grip portion and smaller than the diameter of a rim spoke attachment hole in which the stem is inserted.
Abutment interface between the head of a nipple and the bridge of a wheel rim and spoked bicycle wheel
An abutment interface located between a spoke attachment nipple and a bridge of a rim to properly align the tensioned spoke with the rim. The abutment interface includes a first washer with a radially inner face that abuts the bridge and a radially outer face that abuts with a radially inner face of a second washer that has a radially outer face that abuts an enlarged head on the nipple. The faces of two washers are complimentarily shaped and adjust with respect to each other and the nipple head. An initial adjustment takes place when the fixing the spoke to the rim and the washers prevent any further adjustment when fixing the spoke to the rim.
Spoked bicycle wheel and spoke attachment element for such a wheel
A spoked bicycle wheel having a rim at least partially comprised of a composite material. The rim has at least one spoke attachment chamber with a plurality of spoke attachment holes. The wheel has a plurality of spokes coupled with the rim and a spoke attachment element partially inserted in a respective spoke attachment hole. The wheel includes a holding element that prevents the movement of said spoke attachment element along a radially outer direction. The spoke attachment element has a holding surface configured for abutment against the holding element.
Bicycle disc wheel
A bicycle disc wheel includes two discs respectively formed of two composite material layers with a foam material bonded between the two composite material layers, a wheel frame arranged between the two discs in a concentric manner; and a spoke frame composed of a plurality of I-shaped ribs and sandwiched between the two discs. Each I-shaped rib is composed of a foam material and a composite material cladded on the foam material. Each I-shaped rib has a relatively wider opposite upper and lower sides and a relatively narrower middle section when it is viewed from the cross section, and the relatively wider opposite upper and lower sides of each I-shaped rib are respectively attached to the respective inner side of the two discs.
