A coupling structure for coupling first and second wheel pieces includes (a) a radially-positioning coupling including a radially-positioning protrusion and a radially-positioning recess, (b) a circumferentially-positioning coupling including a circumference protrusion and a circumference protrusion-receiving recess and (c) an axially-positioning coupling including an arm and a claw receiver. As a result, even eliminating welding and coupling by a bolt, it is possible to couple the first and second wheel pieces securely by a physical coupling such as fitting, engaging, inserting and press-fitting.

A wheel includes a first hoop attached to a second hoop about a circumferential interface. The first and second hoops form at least part of an enclosed box structure positioned circumferentially around the wheel and adjacent to an outboard side of the wheel. The box structure may be formed at least in part by circumferential projections of the first hoop and the second hoop. The wheel may also include a central hub that optionally includes spokes. In some embodiments, the central hub may form part of the enclosed box structure. In some embodiments, a first hoop portion and a second hoop portion may be integral or unitary, with a box structure integrally formed between the hoop portions.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A LIGHT-ALLOY HYBRID WHEEL INCLUDING A FRONT FLANGE AND A RIM

A process for manufacturing a light-alloy hybrid wheel implements the following separate operation phases: making a flange with an internal profile capable of constituting a tire bead seat; making a rim with, on one side, an outer profile capable of constituting a tire bead seat and, on the other side, a circular flank for assembly with a part of the flange; assembling the flange with the rim, at the seat of said flange and the circular flank of the rim. The rim is made according to the following consecutive operations: an operation of manufacturing a circular flank; then an operation of expanding said circular flank to the size of the final rim in a single step; then an operation of cold or hot flospinning of said circular flank so as to obtain the rim in the final shape and profile thereof, comprising a shoulder only on the side that will not be welded to the flange.

A traveling toy wheel whose simple configuration allows multiple devices to be enjoyed and can further change fine offsets is provided. The traveling toy wheel includes a first rim member to which a tire is mounted and a second rim member which includes a fitting portion into which a wheel hub of a traveling toy is fitted. Fitting holes as fixing portions are provided in one of the first rim member or the second rim member and elastic convex pieces as fixed portions are provided in the other of the first and second rim members. When the elastic convex pieces are fitted in the fitting holes, the first rim member and the second rim member are jointed relatively unmovably. A plurality of fitting holes are arranged at different positions, so that it is possible to easily adjust an offset of the wheel.

It is an objective of the present invention to reduce weight further in a wheel disk 1 for vehicle. A hat portion 20 of the wheel disk 1 for vehicle includes an annular top portion 21, an inner peripheral portion 22 and an outer peripheral portion 23. The inner peripheral portion 22 connects the top portion 21 and a hub attachment portion 10. The outer peripheral portion 23 connects the top portion 21 and welding flanges 30 and connects the top portion 21 and the window-forming flanges 40. The welding flanges 30 are welded to an inner periphery of a wheel rim 2. Windows 5 are formed between the window-forming flanges 40 and the inner periphery of the wheel rim 2. The outer peripheral portion 23 of the hat portion 20 includes first regions 231 and second regions 232 alternately in a circumferential direction. The first regions 231 are connected to the welding flanges 30 and the second regions 232 are connected to the window-forming flanges 40. Connecting portions 45 connecting the second regions 232 and the window-forming flanges 40 are protruded outward in an axial direction with respect to corresponding portions 231a of the first regions 231. The connecting portions and the corresponding portions are disposed at equal distances from a wheel central axis L.
