Wheel securing structure of trucks
10065453 · 2018-09-04 · ·

A wheel securing structure for trucks is provided. The securing structure generally includes iron screwshaft liners installed in keyholes of mounting parts of aluminum wheels. The bolts of an assembling part correspondingly penetrate the holes of respective screwshaft liners. A first folded edge and a second folded edge are formed on two terminals of each screwshaft liner to respectively insert into conical pits formed on the mounting part of a wheel. The nuts screw onto the bolts of the assembling part to secure the wheel onto the assembling part. When the trucks pass bumpy roads, relative motion caused by vibrations occurs between the wheels and the assembling part, and friction is generated between various parts. The screwshaft liner protects the soft aluminum wheel from being directly rubbed by the bolts, nuts, and the assembling part. Accordingly, the aluminum wheel is made suitable for trucks and other heavy vehicles.

A main module adapted to be attached to a wheel of a vehicle is disclosed, comprising a centre bolt, an expander and a locking mechanism. The main module is configured to be fitted with a blocking means configured to cover nuts or bolts of the wheel. The centre bolt is adapted to be connected to the main module by means of a threading such that the axial position of the centre bolt, as seen along the axis of rotation of the wheel, can be adjusted by rotating the centre bolt relative the main module, and such that the expander expands in a radial direction of the wheel as the axial position of the centre bolt is adjusted. The expander is thereby allowed to engage with the wheel to secure the module to said wheel.

INDEXABLE SYSTEM FOR SELECT WHEEL ALIGNMENT CORRECTION

A system for wheel alignment is provided including adjustments to camber, toe, and thrust. A sleeve is fitted over the spindle of an axle. Rotation of the sleeve relative to the spindle provides for adjustments to wheel alignment while a locking feature such as e.g., a pin, is used to maintain the selected position of the sleeve relative to the spindle. The available positions of the sleeve Crelative to the spindle are predetermined in order to provide for discrete, known adjustments to the alignment of the wheel. Numerous positions can be provided based on the range and magnitude of adjustability selected.

Manually Operable Locking Device
20180180082 · 2018-06-28 ·

A locking device for releasable locking with a counter body, having a base body, which is connected together with an add-on element and a connection element, and actuation means. One or more slides are fastened to the actuation means, which exert a relative movement to the locking device, whereby the slides are able to be brought into contact with the locking means and these can be transferred into a counter geometry of the counter body. Here, the actuation means remain in their respective position due to the return springs of the locking means and of the tension resulting therefrom as well as of a frictional resistance between locking means and slides. An automatic securing device is provided as secondary securing, designed as a spring-loaded securing bolt for securing the position of the actuation means and prevents unintentional opening of the locking device.

A FASTENER

The present invention relates to a fastener, such as a bolt or a nut, for fastening a wheel to a vehicle, comprising: a body comprising: a cap receiving portion, a threaded portion and a central axis; and a cap, arranged to be received by and cover said cap receiving portion characterized in that said cap receiving portion comprises a recess or a protrusion against which said cap can be deformed, or has been deformed, such that said cap forms a mutual matching protrusion or recess, wherein said recess or protrusion of said cap receiving portion has a longitudinal extension essentially parallel to said central axis. The present invention also relates to a method for assembling a fastener.

WHEEL LOCK DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILES

A wheel lock device including a stopper member configured as one of a disc member, a conical frustum member, and a clamp member, is provided. The stopper member encloses an axle cover and together therewith, attaches to an axle hub of an automobile. The stopper member secures and precludes a wheel rim from dislodging from the automobile, when fasteners that attach the wheel rim to the automobile are unfastened accidentally. An outer diameter of the stopper member is larger than a central opening defined in the wheel rim, thereby restricting and precluding the wheel rim from dislodging from the automobile. The stopper member includes openings annularly disposed about a central opening of the stopper member for receiving bolts extending from an outer end of the axle hub. The stopper member is secured to the bolts extending from the outer end of the axle hub using bolt nuts.

REMOVABLE SYSTEM FOR COUNTING WHEEL REVOLUTIONS

A system for counting wheel revolutions made by a wheel of a vehicle includes an electronic counter, a transmitter, a housing, and a removable connector. The electronic counter is structured to count a number of wheel revolutions made by the wheel. The transmitter is structured to transmit data from the electronic counter to a remote database. The housing is structured to receive and house the electronic counter. The removable connector is structured to removably attach the housing to a nut anti-loosening device installed on the wheel.
