Hand-Guided Power Tool with a Guide Bar
20170210027 · 2017-07-27 ·

A power tool has a sprocket wheel cover mounted on a housing and a guide bar secured between housing and sprocket wheel cover and having a guide groove for a saw chain. The guide bar has a guide slot extending in a longitudinal direction of the guide bar and guiding the guide bar on a guide element for longitudinal movement relative to the housing. The guide bar has a first exterior side extending in a first plane and facing the housing and a second exterior side extending in a second plane and facing the sprocket wheel cover. The guide bar has an oil supply opening extending from the second exterior side into the guide groove and connected by an oil supply channel with an oil supply device. The oil supply channel has a channel section separate from the guide bar and extending from the first to the second plane.

Tree pruner

A tree pruner includes a pruner body, a blade system, and an electric motor to provide driving power for the blade system. Rotation of the electric motor in a first direction provides a cutting action. A control system controls the electric motor, and a transmission system having a transmission rope transfers power from the electric motor to the blade system. The tree pruner includes a tension management system to detect a slack rope situation in which tension of the transmission rope is below a predetermined limit value, and the control system prevents rotation of the electric motor in a second direction opposite to the first direction as a response to detection of the slack rope situation.

POWER LOPPER ATTACHMENT

A lopper or lopper head attachment includes a primary gear, an engagement flag, and a dampened lag bolt. The primary gear may be in mechanical communication with a drive shaft. The secondary gear may be enmeshed with the primary gear, the secondary gear defining a lag groove. The engagement flag may be rotatably mounted to the secondary gear to move between an unengaged position and an engaged position. The dampened lag bolt may be received within the lag groove to move relative to the secondary gear between a permissive position permitting the engagement flag to the unengaged position and a restrictive position holding the engagement flag in the engaged position.

Tool, device and procedure for the automated separation of a branch

The invention provides a tool, device comprising such a tool and a method using such a device for the automated separation of a branch of a plant. The tool comprises a frame, a first separating body, a first displacement unit for moving the first separating body to and fro with respect to the frame between a start position and an end position, and which first separating body is configured for producing a separation in the branch during the move from the start position to the end position. The tool furthermore comprises a pushing element and a second displacement unit for moving the first separating body and the pushing element towards each other and away from each other between an approaching position and a separating position, in which the pushing element and the first separating body are configured for causing a first elongate part of the plant to extend therebetween in the approaching position and for the pushing element to push the first elongate part of the plant in the direction of the separation plane belonging to the first separation body against a side of the first elongate part of the plant facing away from the branch of the plant during displacement of the pushing element in a pushing direction from the approaching position to the separating position.
