Two-shot molding for selectively metalizing parts
A method of making a work piece without the use of an auxiliary anode and a work piece created using the method are provided. The work piece includes a main face being generally planar. The work piece also includes a first area comprising a plateable resin configured to be plated using the plating process without the auxiliary anode and having a first current density during the plating process. Additionally, the work piece includes a second area comprising a non-plateable resin configured to not be plated using the plating process without the auxiliary anode. The first area and the second area are determined by a process referencing a predetermined minimum current density value with the first current density being greater than the predetermined minimum current density value.

In one embodiment, the present invention is a plasma disk assembly connectable to a vehicle's wheel assembly, the plasma disk assembly comprising a plasma disk assembly having a sealed plasma disk display encapsulating ionizable gas, at least one controllable power source for producing an output sufficient to ionize the gas in the plasma discharge tube and operably connected to the power supply for optionally adjusting the level of the energy to cause selective ionization of the gas in the plasma display to occur in differing amounts as a function of a changing stimulus connected to an input, at least one ball bearing system or mount, electrical connectors connecting the power source to the plasma disk, at least one pair of electrodes electrically coupling the electrical connectors to the ionizable gas in the plasma discharge tube, and at least one ballast system.

The Lummi Rex, is an advanced car tire that displays contrasting colors within the tire by the aid of the shining chromes found on the rims and it is to yield caution to other drivers and pedestrians. The sole purpose of the Lummi Rex is to reduce and eliminate road accidents due to poor driving, drunk driving, irresponsible drivers, reckless drivers, car malfunctions, broken taillights, and miscommunication between drivers, pedestrians, and everything in its surroundings. The mission of the Lummi Rex is, but not limited to ease the communication process between drivers and pedestrians in a novel manner. Pedestrians will know that when this advanced car tire is illuminating in color Blue it means the car ignition is on, color Red means the car is in motion and finally, when the entire tire is glowing in color Green simply means that the brakes have been applied.

The wheel includes a wheel body and a dazzling imaging portion, in which the wheel body includes a wheel disc surface, a center flange and a rim, the wheel disc surface includes spokes, one end of each spoke is connected to the center flange and the other end is connected to the rim, the center flange includes a center hole and bolt holes uniformly distributed around the center hole, and the rim is connected to the ends of the spokes and extends in a direction perpendicular to the wheel disc surface; the dazzling imaging portion is composed of a circuit board, connecting wires, an FPC, a battery, a decorative cap and decorative lights; and the decorative cap is composed of a circular cover plate and one or more mounting arms.

Vehicle Wheel Units
Systems, methods, tangible non-transitory computer-readable media, and devices associated with the operation of a vehicle are provided. For example, a wheel unit system can receive vehicle data including information associated with states of a vehicle. Further, the vehicle can include wheel wells associated with wheel units that are configured to generate indications associated with the states of the vehicle. The wheel unit system can also determine indications to generate on the wheel units based at least in part on the vehicle data. Furthermore, the wheel unit system can generate the indications on the wheel units. The indications can, for example, include visual indications or auditory indications.
