Wheel Cover Unit for Rear Wheels of Trucks or Buses
20190232715 · 2019-08-01 ·

A wheel cover unit for rear wheels of trucks or buses comprises: a wheel cover, two bearing members and a cover. The wheel cover is provided with an inner concave portion having a central hole. The inner edge of the central hole is vertically and backwardly provided with a hole ring having corresponding two pairs of slots, and each slot extends to the central hole with a lock sheet. Each bearing member is provided with a connecting rod and an engaging rod. The connecting rod is formed with a connecting portion for passing through the bolts of the wheel rim. The engaging rod is formed with two connecting pieces. Each connecting piece is locked with the lock sheet via a screwed element, so as to assemble the wheel cover to the rear wheel of the truck or bus.

VEHICLE WHEEL ASSEMBLY

A vehicle wheel assembly includes a wheel. A tire is disposed around the wheel. A wheel cap is coupled to the wheel and includes a polymeric base. A substantially transparent cap is positioned on the base which defines a first surface and a second surface. The second surface integrally defines an optical grating.

Single wheel caster

The invention relates to a single wheel caster with a support element including a top element and a base element which includes at least one support arm, wherein the base element receives at least one hub for a wheel, wherein a thread protector is arranged on the hub, wherein a fixation device is arranged between the wheel and the support element. It is an object of the invention to provide a novel single wheel caster with substantially reduced assembly complexity. The object is achieved in that the locking device is arranged without additional fastening elements in an interior of the support element between at least one inner surface of the support element and at least on contact surface arranged rotationally fixated at the wheel, wherein the contact surface firmly contacts the locking device when the caster is assembled.

Wheel of a motor vehicle with a spoke area cover

A wheel of a motor vehicle includes a hub portion, spokes extending radially outwards from the hub portion, a rim which is supported on the spokes, and a spoke area cover which is delimited by the rim. A respective cover is provided on both sides of the spokes, i.e. facing the interior side of the spokes and facing the exterior side of the spokes. The interior-side cover, which is annular when seen in a projection in the direction of the wheel rotational axis, is adhered to the edge of the hub portion and to an annular region of the rim and/or the interior side of the spokes. The exterior-side cover is designed in an annular manner either over its entire surface or when seen in a projection in the direction of the wheel rotational axis and can be interchangeably inserted into a groove in an annular rim region and/or in an annular region of the rim and the hub portion with an intermediately positioned seal element.

WHEEL RIM GUARD

A guard comprises a body having an obverse surface and reverse surface, the surfaces in mutually opposed orientation and having a thickness (t) intermediately disposed between the surfaces and with the surfaces mutually terminating at an outer circumferential periphery. The guard includes a first channel disposed within the reverse surface of the body, and a first flexible gasket disposed within the first channel. The guard also includes a handle disposed on the obverse surface of the body. A holder may be included that clips to the handle of the guard to position the guard for hands-free operation.

Center cap for a motor vehicle wheel including internal release lever

A center cap is provided for a motor vehicle wheel. The center cap comprises a body having a front side and a rear side. A recess lever is carried on the rear side. An access aperture is provided in the body. The access aperture extends through the body and opens to the release lever whereby the release lever may be engaged and displaced from a lock position to a release position to allow removal of the center cap from the wheel.

Shield for a rim of a vehicle wheel

A shield for a rim of a vehicle wheel for covering a rim during treatment of a tire mounted on the rim includes a panel that is circularly shaped and rigid. The panel is dimensioned such that the panel is configured to abut to a rim of a vehicle wheel to substantially cover the rim while leaving a tire attached to the rim exposed for treatment. A brace is pivotally coupled to the panel proximate to a center of the panel. The brace is configured to extend between the panel and a surface upon which the vehicle wheel rests, retaining the panel in abutment to the rim of the vehicle wheel. The improvement is the brace positioned on the panel, allowing the panel to be retained in abutment to the rim without further action by a user.

The invention relates to a cover for a wheel rim of a wheel, more particularly for a wheel rim of an alloy wheel for motor vehicles, wherein the wheel rim has a rim inner well, which merges into a rim inner flange that is arranged facing a motor vehicle when the wheel is mounted, and as a result, the wheel rim has an uninterrupted contoured section on the axially inner side. The invention, the rim inner flange can be sealed in the axial direction (a) by means of the cover. The invention further relates to a wheel, particularly having such a cover.

Implementations disclosed and claimed herein provide a wheel cover system. In one implementation, an inward force exerted against a wheel cover of the wheel cover assembly in an inward direction towards the hub is received. The inward force overcomes a spring bias of a spring of the receiver and translates the wheel cover assembly in the inward direction. A first rotational force rotating the wheel cover assembly in a first direction is received. The first post guides and engages the first hook, and the second post guides and engages the second hook during rotation. A first positive feedback is generated in response to the inward force and the first rotational force. The wheel cover assembly is releasably locked to the receiver by translating the wheel cover assembly in the outward direction using an outward force generated by the spring bias. The outward force provides a second positive feedback.
