Automobile Wheel Cover
An automobile wheel cover includes a central hole, an adjusting block, a threaded element, and integrally formed with a bearing seat opposite an inner side of the central hole. An annular seat is extended from an inner side of the bearing seat and is defined with a plurality of slots, between each two slots is provided an elastic post. The adjusting block has a small diameter end and a large diameter end and is inserted in the annular seat via the small diameter end. The threaded element is threaded in the adjusting block via the bearing seat. Thereby, when screwing the threaded element, the large diameter end of the adjusting block moves in the annular seat to make the posts expanded outwardly and abutted against the shaft hole, which can apply to the automobile rims with different hole diameters and prevent the automobile wheel cover falling from the automobile rim.
System, and apparatus for wheel decoration
A central cover for covering a concave central axle cut-out area of a wheel includes a frame that is generally cup-shaped having a round outer surface. the round outer surface has a circumference smaller than an inner circumference of the concave central axle cut-out area of the wheel so that the central cover seats in the concave central axle cut-out area. A permanent magnet is seated within the frame for holding the central cover to the wheel. The permanent magnet having a central cutout area for clearance of an axle bolt when the axle bolt is present.
Wheel made out of fiber reinforced material and procedure to make an according wheel
The invention is directed to a wheel (1) which comprises a rim (4) and a thereto connected spoke structure (3) made out of fiber reinforced plastic material. An insert (2) is embedded in the fiber reinforced material at the center of the spoke structure (3). The insert (2) protrudes in at least one region above the surface of the fiber reinforced plastic material (16) forming at least one contact area (10, 14, 5).
WHEEL COVER
A commercial vehicle wheel cover including a wheel cover assembly having at least two hinge points, at least two handles, and at least two cam latch mechanisms. The wheel cover assembly has a front side and a back side, with at least two handles attached via at least two hinge points attached to at least two interlocking cam latch mechanisms arranged integrally on the wheel cover. The wheel cover assembly is attached to the hub via at least two cam latch mechanisms which lock into a collar assembly. The collar assembly consists of at least two collar halves and a latch that, when installed, applies a compressive force on the axle hub flange holding the assembly to the hub. Each of the at least two collars contain retention features that receive the interlocking features of the cam latch mechanism of the wheel cover assembly.
SNAP-ON AUTOMOTIVE WHEEL COVER OVERLAY WITH EXTENDED SURROUND AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
An improved snap-on automotive wheel cover overlay with extended surround having hook-shaped members for the purpose of securing the wheel cover overlay of the present invention to a damaged manufacturer's wheel cover. The wheel cover overlay of the present invention is further secured by inserting a tension rotation device from the reversed position of a tire into a manufactured in wheel cover overlay tension tabs assembly, and having an extended surround covering the entire rim of a vehicle when installed there on. During manufacturing of the present invention, a three dimensional (3D) scanned imaging of the individual embodiment component parts is generated, after rigorous testing, and is transferred to an injection molding computer to generate the injection molding designed precisely corresponding to each individual component parts of the present invention.
Flexible hubcap for a vehicle wheel having a floating seat
A hubcap for a wheel with a floating tire seat, the wheel having a rim comprising a tire seat extended axially outwards by a flange, the tire seat being radially floating, comprises a central edge and an exterior periphery, in which the central edge comprises fixing elements for attaching to the rigid part of the wheel and in which the central edge is connected to the exterior periphery by an intermediate sector that is deformable so that the exterior periphery can be moved at least radially inwards with respect to the central edge.
Wheel with interchangeable caps
Systems, apparatus, devices, brackets, assemblies, and methods for a wheel hub with interchangeable caps for changing the appearance of wheels having exposed lug nuts about a center hole. A bracket invention having both a small cap and a large cap can be used on an existing wheel which exposes a center hole and the lug nuts. A smaller cap can be used to cover only the center hole of the wheel. A larger cap can be used to cover both the center hole and the exposed lug nuts on the wheel. An adapter ring can be used for OEM (original equipment manufacturer) wheels to allow for using the base that allows for either a small cap or large cap to be interchangeably used to change the exterior appearance of the wheel. The bracket can be integrated with the wheel, or be attachable onto the wheel. The caps can be mounted and dismounted by pressing and rotating spring biased emblems with either ball bearings or studs from the bases.
POWER GENERATING WHEEL RIM DEVICE
A power generating wheel rim device includes a wheel rim body, a power generating mechanism, a cover mechanism, and a circuit mechanism. The wheel rim body includes a central plate and a central slot recessed into the central plate. The power generating mechanism is embedded in the central slot and is operable to be driven by the wheel rim body to rotate and to generate electricity. The cover mechanism covers the power generating mechanism, is mounted to the central plate of the wheel rim body, and includes an air permeable passage structure that is annular and disposed along a periphery of the cover mechanism and that is in 10 spatial communication with an external environment and the central slot. The circuit mechanism is mounted in the cover mechanism and is electrically connected to the power generating mechanism for converting alternating current of the electricity generated into direct current.
EMBLEM FOR VEHICLES
Emblem for vehicles, comprising a decoration layer; at least one lighting element that illuminates the decoration layer; an electrical power generator that feeds electric power to the at least one lighting element, wherein the electrical power generator includes a rotor comprising a support disc for at least one magnet; and a stator comprising at least one printed circuit board provided with windings. It permits to provide an emblem in which a power generator is optimized to be compatible in the axial direction with the available space, which is very small behind the front cover.
Vehicle wheel cover retention system and method for producing same
The vehicle wheel cover retention system comprises a wheel including a first hub hole provided therein which has a retention member formed in a generally axially extending portion thereof. The wheel cover includes a second hub hole provided therein. The second hub hole includes an annular axially extending segmented projection. The segmented projection includes a chamfered outer circumferential surface and a shoulder provided thereon. During assembly, the segmented projection deflects radially inward as the wheel cover is initially installed and moved toward the retention member and then as the wheel cover is further advanced the segmented projection moves radially outward to enable the shoulder to engage the retention member to thereby secure the wheel cover to the wheel. The center cap includes an annular axially extending projection. The center cap is then installed and its annular extending projection engages with the inside of the segmented projection of the wheel cover, thus preventing it to further deflect radially inward and thereby locking the wheel cover to the wheel.
