WHEEL APPARATUS FOR CLIMBING STAIRS
A puncture resistant wheel apparatus, and method of use, for safely climbing obstacles are disclosed herein. A plurality of wheel apparatuses is mounted on a vehicle (e.g. a wheelchair, cart, mountain bicycle, etc.) to enable it to safely traverse obstacles, such as a flight of stairs, road curbs, etc. without slipping, and while creating a smoother ride. Each wheel apparatus comprises: a tire comprising a plurality of teeth sections separated via a thin space to grip an obstacle edge between the teeth; a circular rim attachable to the tire inner surface via T-joints, and a plurality of evenly spaced spokes extending to a central hub; and two hoop rings, mounted on opposing tire sidewalls. The center of each tire tooth section further comprises an elastic unit, comprising a vertical spring and two horizontal springs that further act to dampen the vibrational and jarring forces exerted on the wheel apparatus.
BEAD LOCK SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Embodiments disclosed herein describe systems and methods for a bead lock wheel line in scaled vehicles. The bead lock wheel line may include a wheel center section and a bead lock ring. The bead lock ring may be configured to be overlaid on the wheel center section, wherein screws may be inserted through orifices positioned within the bead lock ring and into orifices positioned on the wheel center section.

MULTI-PIECE WHEEL RIM AND METHOD OF FASTENING COMPONENTS THEREOF TOGETHER
A multi-piece wheel rim includes a first component made of carbon fiber and having a plurality of slots; dissimilar material members made of a material other than carbon fiber and respectively fixed into the slots, each dissimilar member having plasticity and a tapped hole; threaded bushings engaging respectively and threadedly the tapped holes of the dissimilar material members; a second component; and headed screws extending through the second component and respectively engaging threadedly the threaded bushings, thereby fastening the second component to the first component. A method is hereby disclosed for fastening together components of the multi-piece wheel rim.

BEADLOCK WITH FILLER RING
A beadlock assembly comprises a beadlock and a separate filler ring. When installed on a wheel, the filler ring is positioned immediately adjacent the wheel, and the beadlock covers the filler ring while securing the filler ring to the wheel. Use of the filler ring enables the beadlock to comply with applicable regulations for on-road use. For off-road use, the filler ring may be removed, and the beadlock may be used to secure a bead of a tire to the wheel.
WHEEL ASSEMBLY WITH OPPOSED REMOVABLE BEAD LOCKS
A wheel assembly including a substantially cylindrical rim base with a varying thickness having first and second opposed annular edges, the rim base comprising first and second annular flanges formed on an outside surface of the rim base and respectively positioned at a distance set back from the first and second annular edges, each of the first and second annular flanges forming a first and second annular seat; first and second lock rings being substantially flat having a contact surface and an exterior surface, the contact surface of each lock ring configured to abut the respective annular edge; and a locking mechanism configured to removably secure the first and second lock rings to the first and second annular edges.
