BICYCLE FRAME STRUCTURE HAVING A DROP-OUT
A bicycle frame structure has a drop-out and includes: a fixing bracket having a rail groove formed in a frontward and rearward direction and fixed to one side of the frame; a movement member mounted to the fixing bracket to be movable forward and backward along the rail groove; a drop plate fixed to the movement member and having a drop-out formed therein for fixing a wheel; and an adjustment bolt screw-engaged by penetrating one side of the movement member. A front end of the adjustment bolt is supported by a fixing support formed in the fixing bracket. The movement member is moved along the rail groove according to rotation of the adjustment bolt.
BICYCLE WHEEL SECURING DEVICE
A bicycle wheel securing device comprises a shaft, an axial abutment structure, a bicycle-body engaging structure, a manual actuator, and a shaft-end retaining structure. The shaft has a first shaft end, a second shaft end, and a longitudinal center axis. The manual actuator is operatively connected to the axial abutment structure to bias the axial abutment structure against a first wheel attachment part of a bicycle body in response to operation of the manual actuator in a securing state where the bicycle-body engaging structure is engaged with a second wheel attachment part of the bicycle body. The shaft-end retaining structure is at least partly disposed at the second shaft end to retain the second shaft end in the first wheel attachment part in a maintenance state where the second shaft end is positioned in the first wheel attachment part of the bicycle body.
Quick release
A quick release mechanism for at least partially muscle-powered two-wheeled vehicles such as bicycles having a through axle extending in the axial direction, a clamping device at a first end of the through axle and a fastener at the second end of the through axle and with a clamping mechanism for clamping the clamping device. The clamping device includes an engaging section for applying a clamping force from the clamping mechanism to the clamping device and a clamping section with an annular pressure area for clamping. The clamping device has a tubular mounting section extending from the clamping section in the direction of the second end of the through axle and to which the through axle is attached.
Methods and apparatus for releasably supporting a vehicle wheel assembly
An axle for removably retaining a wheel on a vehicle. The axle includes a rotary-type connector at a first end thereof; a cam assembly operatively connected to the second end, the cam assembly including a cam having an axis of rotation; a lever operatively connected to a second end of the axle, the lever being rotatable about an axis substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the cam, between an open position in which the axle is removable from and mountable on the vehicle and a closed position in which the axle is retained on the vehicle; and a cam assembly operatively connected to the second end; and a lever stop ensuring that an angle of maximum rotation for the lever from the closed position is less than 180 degrees.
DEVICE FOR MOUNTING A WHEEL ON A BICYCLE FRAME
The device for mounting a bicycle wheel comprises a pin having a longitudinal axial through hole. A first free end portion of the pin has a threading. A second free end has a pin head. A lever for rotating the pin is housed in the axial through hole and is axially moveable between two operative positions. The lever has a first lever element housed in the axial through hole in the two operative positions, and a second lever element, pivoted to the first lever element about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, that is housed in the axial through hole when the lever is a first operative position, and that is positioned outside the axial through hole when the lever is in a second operative position for allowing a torque transfer between lever and pin following the rotation of the second lever element about the longitudinal axis.
Wheel securing axle and bicycle hub assembly
A wheel securing axle includes a shaft that includes a first end portion, a second end portion including a thread, and a shaft axis, a washer rotationally supported by the first end portion of the shaft, and a click mechanism arranged between the shaft and the washer.
AXIALLY-SWITCHABLE QUICK RELEASE DEVICE
An axially-switchable quick release device, including: a rod extending in an axial direction; a clutch shaft disposed at an end of the rod and having a meshing teeth portion and an idling ring portion; and a quick release lever having a fitting portion and a turning portion connected to the fitting portion The fitting portion has a fitting teeth portion sleeved onto the clutch shaft and movable along the axial direction and between a meshing position and an idling position. When the quick release lever is at the meshing position, the fitting teeth portion engages with the meshing teeth portion so that the quick release lever and the clutch shaft can rotate synchronously. When the quick release lever is at the idling position, the fitting teeth portion moves to the idling ring portion so that the quick release lever can rotate freely relative to the clutch shaft.
Bicycle freewheel
A bicycle freewheel basically includes a driving member, a driven member, at least one first engaging member, at least one second engaging member and at least one contact member. The driving member is to be coupled to a bicycle sprocket. The driven member is to be coupled to a bicycle hub. The driving member and the driven member have oppositely arranged first and second portions, respectively. The at least one first engaging member is disposed on one of the first and second portions, while the at least one second engaging member is disposed on the other of the first and second portions. The at least one second engaging member engages the at least one first engaging member while non-freewheeling. The at least one contact member is disposed on one of the first and second engaging members, and contacts the other of the first and second engaging members while freewheeling.
Wheel Hub and Wheel Including the Same
A wheel hub is to be mounted with multiple spokes, and includes a hub body extending about a central axis, and two hub shells connected to the hub body. Each of the hub shells includes a base wall, a surrounding wall and a mounting hole unit. The base wall has a first base portion extending radially and outwardly from the hub body, and a second base portion extending from the first base portion in an axial direction relative to the central axis. The surrounding wall extends radially and outwardly from the second base portion. The mounting hole unit includes multiple first mounting holes formed in the base wall, and multiple second mounting holes formed in the surrounding wall. Each of the first and second mounting holes allows for extension of a spoke.
Bicycle axle assembly
A bicycle axle assembly has a nut, a main body member and an adjustment structure. The nut includes a bore having an internal thread. The main body member includes a nut bore. The nut is disposed in the nut bore. The adjustment structure adjustably couples the nut to move axially with respect to the main body member.
