Caster assembly with brake assembly having low actuation force
A caster assembly comprises a caster wheel having an outer surface. A wheel support is coupled to the wheel to support the wheel for rotation about a rotational axis and for swiveling about a swivel axis. A brake assembly comprises a brake having a cammed wheel engaging surface shaped to engage the outer surface of the wheel and a brake actuator to move the brake relative to the wheel from an unbraked position to a braked position in which the brake limits rotation of the wheel about the rotational axis. The cammed wheel engaging surface is arranged to articulate relative to the wheel support. The cammed wheel engaging surface articulates relative to the wheel support in response to the wheel rotating about the rotational axis after the brake is initially placed in the braked position such that the cammed wheel engaging surface more deeply engages the wheel with rotation of the wheel about the rotational axis.
HYBRID BEARING ARRANGEMENT CASTER TECHNOLOGY
The invention provides a caster including two wheels, a central frame member, and a mount member. The two wheels are mounted on the mount member. The caster has a hybrid bearing arrangement comprising both a rolling bearing and two slide bearings. Each of the two slide bearings is located between the mount member and a tread portion of a respective one of the two wheels. The slide bearings are configured to enable the two wheels to simultaneously rotate in opposite directions when the caster swivels about a second axis orthogonal to the first axis. In some embodiments, the caster is a hubless caster.

Each of the left side, the right side, the back side, the front side, and the crossmember is L-shaped and has a vertical portion and a horizontal portion. The base frame is configured to support a stepladder on the horizontal portion. The base frame comprises a back left section, a front left section, a back right section, a front right section, and a plurality of joiner sections joined with a plurality of hardware through a plurality of mounting apertures. A plurality of wheels is coupled to the base frame.
CASTER
The invention provides a caster comprising a bracket, a first transmission device and two wheels. The two wheels are connected by a transmission screw and are fixed to the bracket. The first transmission device comprises an annular retaining portion and a plurality of first balls, the plurality of first balls are equiangularly arranged in a circumferential direction of the annular retaining portion, and opposite sides of the annular retaining portion are respectively embedded in the respective wheels. The caster of the invention can solve the problems in the prior art that it is difficult to control the gap between the two wheels, the resistance generated between the two wheels is large and noise is easily generated.
MAGNETICALLY ALIGNABLE SWIVEL CASTER
A swivel caster (1) including a support plate (2) for connection to a container, and including a caster mount (3) having a caster (6) rotatable about a horizontal rotation axis (H). The caster mount (3) is connected to the support plate (2) rotatable about a vertical rotation axis (V). At least one first magnet (15a) is connected to the caster mount (3) and at least one second magnet (15b) is connected to the support plate (2). The magnets (15a, 15b) are magnetized and disposed so as to be mutually parallel including a gap in such in an alignment of the caster mount outside a defined basic alignment (G) of the caster mount (3) the magnets (15a, 15b) interact such that the caster mount (3) swings into basic alignment (G). The caster mount (3) has a cover plate (11) which collectively with the saucer (9) of the support plate (2) and with the mounting plate (7) encloses an intermediate space for the magnets (15a, 15b). The cover plate (11) has two legs (17a, 17b) which extend in the direction of the horizontal rotation axis (H) of the caster (6). Each leg (17a, 17b) has a free end (18a, 18b) remote from the cover plate (11) is connected to the caster mount (3) via a connector.
LEVEL CASTOR
Disclosed is a level castor including: a castor main body which has a socket shape having an opening, and in which a wheel contacting the ground is mounted therein and rotatably hinge-coupled to one portion of the lower side thereof; a connection frame which is rotatably connected to the castor main body and fixedly mounted to a weight disposed thereabove, thereby connecting the castor main body to the weight such that the castor main body can rotate with respect to the weight; a support body provided to the castor main body through the opening in a retractable manner so as to contact the ground; and an adjustment unit which is provided in an inner accommodation space of the castor main body, and which retracts the support body through a rotation operation of a rotation handle.
Dolly for transporting products
A dolly for transporting products thereon, the dolly comprising a top with a product support surface and an opposing underside, a plurality of casters provided on the underside, two of the casters being swivel casters configured to rotate relative to the product support surface; biasing means configured to bias a wheel of each swivel caster towards a first equilibrium position. A plurality of reinforcing ribs provided on the underside; wherein at least one of the reinforcing ribs is a curved reinforcing rib, and; the at least one curved reinforcing rib extends from a first caster mounting area to a second caster mounting area. Further including, a dolly carrier pallet comprising a pallet provided with a dolly receiving layer, wherein the dolly receiving layer is provided with generally rectangular wheel receiving recesses for receiving swivel casters and is provided with generally rectangular wheel receiving recesses for receiving fixed casters.
