A mobile imaging device includes a base having at least one caster, a first drive mechanism that moves the system in a transport mode and translates an imaging component relative to the base in a scan mode, and a second drive mechanism that extends caster relative to the base to raise the base off the ground in the transport mode, and retracts the caster relative to the base to lower the base to the ground in the scan mode. A caster system for a mobile apparatus includes a base containing a housing and a caster, attached to the base, the caster having a wheel defining a wheel axis and a swivel joint defining a swivel axis and a pivot point defining a pivot axis, wherein the caster pivots on the pivot axis as the caster is retracted into the housing and extended out of the housing.

The present teachings generally provide for an overrunable test vehicle for use with a soft target. The overrunable test vehicle comprises a chassis defining a cavity and having an external mounting area for receiving the soft target, at least one non-driven wheel supported by the chassis, at least one drive mechanism supported by the chassis having an electric motor and a drive wheel operatively connected with the electric motor, and a control system disposed within the cavity and coupled to the electric motor for sending and receiving information. The non-driven wheel is deformable with the non-driven wheel having an initial state with a first height and a deformed state with a second height where the second height is less than the first height. The non-driven wheel is configured to enter the deformed state when a threshold force is applied, and transition towards the initial state when the force is lessened.

A movable coffee capsule storage rack includes a rack body for storage of coffee capsules. The housing also includes a base. The waste receptacle includes at least one foot attached to the base that is configured to support the waste receptacle in a standing position. On the housing is at least one retractable caster assembly with a caster moveable between a retracted position and an extended position in which the caster extends past the at least one foot to engage a surface on which the waste receptacle is placed. Waste receptacles and retractable casters for such waste receptacles are provided. The waste receptacle includes a housing that has an inner volume accessible by an opening. A foot pedal assembly and method of moving a wheel assembly from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration is provided. The foot pedal assembly can be moved to a locked configuration, thereby securing the wheel assembly in a deployed configuration, by allowing a foot pedal of the foot pedal assembly to move away from a second position after moving the foot pedal from a first position to the second position. When in the locked configuration, the foot pedal assembly can be moved to an unlocked configuration by moving the foot pedal assembly back to the second position, thereby allowing the foot pedal assembly and the wheel assembly to move towards the first configuration and the stowed configuration, respectively. A pin extending from a cam assembly into a raceway of a raceway body travels through the raceway as the foot pedal assembly is moved between configurations.

A welding table with elevation system, powered with cordless drill, gear reducer, chain, sprockets and, ultimately turning screw posts synchronously, lifting four telescoping legs. Maximum elevated height exceeds most work benches for height matching, and a minimum height goes lower than most low tables.
