Modular Combine Traction Axle
A modular axle assembly for supporting wheels of an agricultural vehicle, such as a combine harvester, is disclosed. The modular axle assembly includes a first tube, a second tube parallel to the first tube, and at least one bracket connecting the first tube and the second tube.
Axle structure with asymmetrically arranged brake cylinders
The present disclosure relates to an axle structure for a motor vehicle, preferably a utility vehicle, for installing a first wheel and a second wheel. The axle structure has a longitudinal axis and defines a vertical reference plane which extends along the longitudinal axis, and the axle structure comprises a first brake cylinder, which preferably has a first central line and is preferably used to brake the first wheel, and a second brake cylinder, which preferably has a second central line and is preferably used to brake the second wheel. The axle structure is characterized in particular in that the first brake cylinder is arranged on one side of the reference plane, and the second brake cylinder is arranged on the other side of the reference plane.
Kingpin unit bearing steerable drive axle assembly
A kingpin unit bearing steerable drive axle for a powered wheel of a vehicle may include a steering knuckle having a first side and a second side, and a unit bearing configured to support a wheel and operatively connected to the first side of the steering knuckle. An axle housing is operatively connected to the second side of the steering knuckle, and the axle housing has an upper arm and a lower arm. A first kingpin connects the upper arm of the axle housing to the steering knuckle; and a second kingpin connects the lower arm of the axle housing to the steering knuckle. The steering knuckle and the axle housing are configured to receive a powered axle shaft to drive the unit bearing.
Axle assembly
An axle assembly and method of reworking an axle assembly. The axle assembly has an axle housing and a differential carrier assembly. A central portion of the axle housing has an opening that is defined by an axle flange that has a first mating surface. The differential carrier assembly has a differential mounted on a carrier. The carrier has a carrier flange that has a second mating surface. The first mating surface is sealed to the second mating surface by seal. At least one of the first and second mating surfaces includes a groove.
APEX AXLE TRUSS SYSTEM
An apex axle truss system includes a first apex axle truss including a sheet of metal that has been bent to form a first substantially vertical wall, second substantially vertical wall, first angled wall, and second angled wall. The first substantially vertical wall is configured to be secured to a first lateral side of an axle housing. The second substantially vertical wall is configured to be secured to a second lateral side of the axle housing. The first angled wall is disposed between the first substantially vertical wall and the second substantially vertical wall. The second angled wall is disposed between the first angled wall and the second substantially vertical wall. The first angled wall and the second angled wall form an apex that is configured to be disposed over an upper surface of the axle housing.
Electric wheel assembly applicable for parallelly mounted dual-tire wheel, axle, and vehicle
Disclosed are an electric wheel assembly applicable for a parallelly mounted dual-tire wheel, an axle, and a vehicle. The electric wheel assembly includes a wheel and support axle assembly, an internal-rotor hub motor, a planetary gear reducer and a brake system. A planetary carrier is connected to a hub. The hub is connected to a spoke and a rim. The wheel support axle passes through a rotor sleeve and is provided with a hub bearing to support the hub and a whole wheel. A sun gear disposed at an end of the rotor sleeve of the internal-rotor hub motor is a power input of the planetary gear speed reducer, and the planetary carrier is a power output. A planetary gear of the planetary gear reducer is a tower-shaped gear and realizes a relatively high transmission ratio under a condition that an axial length is relatively small.
Adjustable portal plate
A portal box assembly for mounting a wheel to an off road vehicle in a lifted and extended wheelbase position. The assembly includes a portal gear box having an input shaft opening for an input shaft, and an output shaft extending from an output shaft opening. The portal gear box also includes a set of gears effective to transmit power from the input shaft to the output shaft, and optionally to reduce the gear ratio. The assembly is mountable to the vehicle in an extended wheelbase position in which the output shaft is positioned below and forward of the input shaft when the assembly is used to mount a forward wheel, and in which the output shaft is positioned below and rearward of the input shaft when the assembly is used to mount a rear wheel.
Protected Tread Widening For Self-Propelled Sprayer
A protected tread widening system for a self-propelled high clearance sprayer. The system includes a frame with side rails and a first cross member and a second cross member extending between the opposite side rails, with the cross members being substantially hollow. Each of the cross members form slider receivers. The system also includes axle slider assemblies that are telescopically inserted into the slider receivers. Additionally, actuators are mounted within the cross members. These actuators are secured to the frame and to the axle slider assemblies to allow for telescopic movement of the axle slider assemblies into and out of the cross members. The actuators run substantially through a central axis of the first cross member and a central axis of the second cross member. This minimizes the bending moment of each actuator. Additionally, this system isolates the actuators from materials outside of the cross members.
Axel assembly having a bowl cover and a method of manufacture
An axle assembly and a method of manufacture. The axle assembly may have an axle housing, a bowl ring, and a bowl cover. The bowl ring may be disposed on a center portion of the axle housing and may extend around a bowl opening. The bowl cover may be disposed on the bowl ring.
AXLE HOUSING SUPPORTING STRUCTURE
An axle housing supporting structure includes an axle housing, a brake housing, an axle bracket for supporting the axle housing and the brake housing, a connecting member inserted in the axle housing and the axle bracket to connect the axle housing and the axle bracket for preventing the axle housing from falling from the axle bracket, and at least one co-fastening bolt fastening the axle bracket, the brake housing, and the axle housing together.
