A wheel cover assembly for a truck wheel includes a plate system adapted to mount on a wheel hub along existing wheel bolts. A convex cover slideably engages with the plate system. The convex cover has a generally planar fastening plate and an integrated skirt that tapers to an edge of the wheel. A plurality of pins are integrated with the plate system to receive the convex cover.

A bicycle spoke has a spoke body having two remote ends, a rim end, and a hub end. The elongated body includes a longitudinally flattened cross-section. The body includes a first end portion thickness at the hub end transverse to a longitudinal plane. The body includes a second end portion thickness at the rim-side end transverse to the longitudinal plane. The body includes in a first center region disposed closer to the first end portion than to the second end portion, a first center region thickness transverse to the longitudinal plane that is less than the first end portion thickness. In a second center region disposed closer to the second end portion than to the first end portion, the body has the flattened cross-section wherein the second center region includes a second center region thickness transverse to the longitudinal plane that is less than the first center region thickness.
Wheel cover assembly
The present disclosure relates to a wheel cover assembly for a wheel assembly of a vehicle. The wheel cover assembly can include a bracket configured to be mounted onto the wheel assembly, an outer ring configured to be coupled with the bracket, and an inner cover removably couplable with the outer ring. The inner cover can comprise at least one attachment mechanism having a spring element, a catch and a handle, where the spring element can bias the catch to engage with the bracket or the outer ring to removably secure the inner cover to the outer ring.
Reflex rim for enhanced efficiency
A bicycle rim is configured to reduce drag as well as enhance steering stability, such as in gusty and/or high cross wind conditions. The rim includes a leading edge where the rim interfaces with a tire, and a sidewall extends from the leading edge. The rim includes a spoke face where one or more spokes extend from the bicycle rim. A reflexed blend portion is disposed between the sidewall and the spoke face. The reflexed blend portion allows the sidewall to have increased camber which lowers pressure drag. At the same time, the reflexed blend portion allows the spoke face to have a larger radius so as to provide greater steering stability, such as in gusty and/or high cross wind conditions.
WHEEL COVER
A commercial vehicle wheel cover including a wheel cover assembly having at least two hinge points, at least two handles, and at least two cam latch mechanisms. The wheel cover assembly has a front side and a back side, with at least two handles attached via at least two hinge points attached to at least two interlocking cam latch mechanisms arranged integrally on the wheel cover. The wheel cover assembly is attached to the hub via at least two cam latch mechanisms which lock into a collar assembly. The collar assembly consists of at least two collar halves and a latch that, when installed, applies a compressive force on the axle hub flange holding the assembly to the hub. Each of the at least two collars contain retention features that receive the interlocking features of the cam latch mechanism of the wheel cover assembly.
Cycling aero foil system
The coefficient cycling aero foil system is designed to reduce drag and turbulence from a tire and spokes used to support a bicycle wheel. The system is integrated into a rim on a bicycle wheel which allows for increased forward momentum by cutting drag and reducing wheel turbulence that occurs during the rotation of a bicycle wheel. The foils may be strategically placed for optimum aerodynamic wind flow and are precisely angled to force wind past the foil creating increased forward momentum.

A wheel-well closure system for a motor vehicle has a wheel-arch delimiting a wheel-well and a wheel mounted in the wheel-well, the system comprising: a support structure connected to the wheel-arch; and a cover connected to the support structure and covering the wheel-well; wherein the cover is made of a flexible material and is secured to the wheel arch; wherein the system comprises a continuous annular part secured to the wheel facing the cover and rotating with the wheel about a horizontal axis; and wherein the support structure comprises an arm extending radially in front of the continuous annular part and against the cover, a steering movement of the wheel about a vertical axis causing the continuous annular to push the support structure and stretch the cover outside the wheel-well.
Wheel Rim Assembly
A wheel rim assembly for a wheel of a motor vehicle may include a wheel rim and a cover portion arranged on an outside of the wheel rim. The cover portion may be guided on the wheel rim so as to be movable relative to the wheel rim between an open position allowing an air flow between the outside and an inside of the wheel rim, and a closed position preventing the air flow. Conversion from the open position to the closed position takes place automatically based on an operating state of the wheel. The cover portion may be configured as a disc-like component covering the outside. The cover portion may be arranged movably parallel to an axis of the wheel rim between the open position and the closed position, in the open position opening a ring gap between an edge of the cover portion and the wheel rim.
