Pneumatic tire

To reduce noise while suppressing increase in rolling resistance, without affecting the formation of a carcass line, provided is a pneumatic tire 10 comprising an inner liner 17. The thickness of the inner liner 17 at least in part of a side portion 18 is 1.5 mm or more. When the tire 10 is mounted to a rim, and an internal pressure of 250 kPa or more is applied to the tire, in a case where a sectional width SW of the tire is less than 165 mm, a ratio of the sectional width SW to an outer diameter OD of the tire, SW/OD, is 0.26 or less; and in a case where the sectional width SW of the tire is 165 mm or more, the sectional width SW and the outer diameter OD of the tire satisfy a relation expression OD2.135SW+282.3.

STABILIZER PLY AS AN IMPACT BREAK DEFLECTOR IN TIRES

Rubber compositions are disclosed having a reinforcing filler of carbon black having select properties and a rubber, and tires and tire components and belt skims made from the rubber compositions. The rubber compositions can further include an additional reinforcing filler to form a blend of fillers. The rubber compositions are used to form belt assemblies having reinforcing components, such as metal cords. Also disclosed herein are methods of manufacturing belt assemblies and tires with belt assemblies disposed in the belt skim rubber compositions.

Aircraft tire

A pneumatic tire is disclosed having two annular bead portions having a bead core. A carcass extends between the bead portions through sidewall portions and a tread portion, wherein the carcass includes at least two axially inner plies which extend down from the tread and axially inward of the bead core, said at least two axially inner plies being wound around the bead core forming respective turn-ups, each turnup being located axially outward of the bead core. The carcass further includes a first axially outer ply which extends down from the tread towards the bead core and positioned axially outward of the bead core, wherein at least one of the axially outer plies is formed from reinforcements having a higher break strength than the reinforcements of the axially inner plies.

Provided is a pneumatic tire including a belt layer. When the tread region indicates a region corresponding to a belt width of the belt layer and the side region indicates a region inward of a tire radial direction with respect to a tire maximum width position, the carcass cords forming the carcass layer are inclined with respect to the tire radial direction in the tread region, and at the same time, extend along the tire radial direction in the side region. The carcass cords forming the carcass layer and belt cords forming the belt layer cross with each other in the tread region.
