PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire. A carcass line when 10% of a regular internal pressure is applied is composed of a curved line (S) connecting arcs having different radii of curvature and curved to project outward in a tire width direction and a curved line (T) curved to project inward in the tire width direction. A radius of curvature (R.sub.i) at a point on the curved line (S) and a radius of curvature (R.sub.i+1) at an adjacent point satisfy |R.sub.i+1−R.sub.i|/|(R.sub.i+1+R.sub.i)/2|≤0.25. An inclination (θ.sub.S) and an inclination (θ.sub.T) at a connection point (Q) of the curved line (S) and the curved line (T) satisfy |θ.sub.S−θ.sub.T|8°. A ratio (Hβ/Hα) between a radial height (Hα) at a maximum outer diameter position of a carcass layer and a radial height (Hβ) at a tire maximum width position satisfies Hβ/Hα ≥0.58.
POLYESTER TIRE CORD HAVING EXCELLENT HEAT RESISTANCE, AND TIRE COMPRISING SAME
The present invention relates to a polyester tire cord made of polyester yarn and having a 5% LASE of 1.2 g/d or more as measured according to ASTM D885 at 80° C., a 5% LASE of 1.0 g/d or more as measured according to ASTM D885 at 120° C., and a toughness retention rate of 65% or more at 80° C. and 120° C. The tire cord of the present invention has a modulus comparable to that of rayon even in a high-temperature environment at 120° C. or higher, and has excellent dimensional stability and heat resistance, and thus it can be advantageously applied to a high-performance tire.
TIRE HAVING IMPROVED UNIFORMITY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A method for manufacturing a tire comprising a carcass reinforcement comprising a carcass layer and a working reinforcement comprising a single working layer comprising forming, around a support, a wound carcass assembly (52) intended to form the carcass layer and a wound working assembly intended to form the working layer, and then deforming the support. The wound carcass assembly (52) is formed so as to form either a junction (56) by abutment without forming a superposition, or a junction (56) by overlapping, or without forming a junction.

MOTORCYCLE TIRE
A motorcycle tire having excellent handling stability and durability, includes a carcass as a skeleton composed of at least one carcass ply extending toroidally between a pair of bead portions and folded and engaged around a pair of bead cores embedded in each of the pair of bead portions and a belt composed of at least one belt layer arranged on the outer side of the carcass in the tire radial direction. A flipper is arranged between the carcass and a bead core, which wraps the bead core from the inside in the tire radial direction, and the outer side end portion of the flipper in the tire width direction extends to the inside in the tire width direction from the end portion of the belt in the tire width direction.
LIGHT TRUCK OR OFF-ROAD TIRE
A tire includes a tread, a crown reinforcement, a carcass reinforcement with at least one ply wound about a pair of bead cores and through two sidewalls of the tire, and a cut/puncture resistant sidewall layer disposed adjacent a part of the carcass reinforcement within one of the sidewalls, the cut/puncture sidewall layer being formed of a plurality of cords, each cord including one nylon cord having S 4-8 tpi (twists per inch), one aramid cord having Z 4-8 tpi, and the nylon cord and the aramid cord being twisted together with S 3-7 tpi.

Pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car having ultra fine steel cords for a carcass ply
Disclosed is a pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car having ultra fine steel cords for a carcass ply in which adhesive force between a carcass ply layer and a side wall or a rim flange rubber adjacent to a turn up portion on an outside and a stiffness of the rim flange rubber are larger than a bending stiffness of the carcass ply layer so as to improve durability of a bead part while reducing poor air inletting generated at a carcass turn up portion.

Pneumatic tire for heavy duty
A pneumatic tire for heavy duty having an aspect ratio of 65% or less includes a carcass and a belt layer. A tread portion includes circumferential grooves. The circumferential grooves include a pair of shoulder circumferential grooves and a crown circumferential groove. The crown circumferential groove 11 is a narrow groove and each of the shoulder circumferential grooves is a wide groove. The belt layer includes metal belt cords inclined with respect to a tire circumferential direction. The belt layer has outer ends each positioned outside a respective one of the shoulder circumferential grooves in a tire axial direction. A belt half width is 55% or more and 85% or less of a carcass half width.
