TIRE FABRIC COMPRISING TOUSLED WEFT REINFORCING ELEMENTS WITH LOW MOISTURE ABSORPTION CONTENT
The invention relates to a weft fabric (T) for tyres (10) comprising several textile warp reinforcing elements (44) and several weft reinforcing elements (50), wherein the moisture regain MR of the weft reinforcing elements (50) is less than or equal to 2.0%, the moisture regain being determined according to standard ASTM D 885/D 885MA of January 2010; the weft reinforcing elements (50) interweave the warp reinforcing elements (44) and; the weft reinforcing elements (50) are hairy.
TIRE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A BREAKABLE STRUCTURE AND A SUPPORTING STRUCTURE
The assembly (24) comprises: a first structure (10) extending in a first overall direction (G1), a second structure (12), and a bearing structure (30) comprising filamentary bearing elements (32) comprising at least one filamentary bearing portion (74) extending between the first structure (10) and the second structure (12), the first structure (10) being arranged such that, for a length at rest L of the first structure (10) in the first overall direction (G1), the elongation at maximum force Art of the first structure in the first overall direction (G1) satisfies: Art(2H)/L, in which H0KH where H0 is the mean straight-line distance between an internal face (42) of the first structure (10) and an internal face (46) of the second structure (12) when each filamentary bearing portion (74) is at rest, and K=0.50.
NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH MULTI ANGLE TENSION CONTROL REINFORCEMENTS
A non-pneumatic tire is provided. The non-pneumatic tire includes an outer annular portion, an inner annular portion, and a load bearing ring positioned between the outer annular portion and the inner annular portion. The load bearing ring includes at least one reinforcing layer, and each of the at least one reinforcing layers includes one or more strips of multi angle tension control reinforcement (MATCR) material.
ASSEMBLY FOR TIRE INCLUDING IMPREGNATED WOVEN OR KNITTED FABRIC(S) AND A SACRIFICIAL HOLDING MEANS
A tire assembly includes an assemblage formed of first and second impregnated woven or knitted structures, a bearing structure, and at least one sacrificial holder. The first impregnated woven or knitted structure includes a first woven or knitted fabric and a first layer of a first polymeric composition. The second impregnated woven or knitted structure includes a second woven or knitted fabric and a second layer of a second polymeric composition. The bearing structure includes bearing elements connecting the first and second woven or knitted fabrics together. Each sacrificial holder is structured to hold temporarily the first and second impregnated structures in contact with each other, connecting the first and second woven or knitted fabrics together. When the first and second impregnated woven or knitted structures are separated from each other, each sacrificial holder breaks before any breakage of the bearing elements.
Tire cord fabric
A tire cord fabric having paired cords used as warps. The fabric is suitable for use in pneumatic tires as carcass and cap ply reinforcement, enabling the use of less rubber and higher cord content in a specified cord-rubber composite volume.
A CAP PLY REINFORCEMENT STRIP FOR PNEUMATIC TIRES
The present invention relates to a cap ply reinforcement strip in pneumatic tire (1) which is plain woven and comprised of warps (3) and texturized wefts (2). The inventive cap ply reinforcement strip in pneumatic tires (1) eliminates calendaring and strip preparation steps, enables to decrease the rolling resistance of the tire by eliminating the need for rubber coating and reduce the fuel consumption, tread wearing of the tire and braking distance.
Rubber reinforcing material with reduced weight, method of preparing the same, and tire comprising the same
This invention relates to rubber reinforcing material with reduced weight, a method for preparing the same, and a tire including the same. According to this invention, there is provided a rubber reinforcing material that has a thin thickness and light weight, and yet has excellent durability. The reinforcing material not only reduces the weight of a tire, but also enables realization of improved rolling resistance.
Tire fabric comprising tousled weft reinforcing elements with low moisture absorption content
A weft fabric (T) for tires (10) comprises several textile warp reinforcing elements (44) and several weft reinforcing elements (50), wherein the moisture regain MR of the weft reinforcing elements (50) is less than or equal to 2.0%, the moisture regain being determined according to standard ASTM D 885/D 885MA of January 2010 the weft reinforcing elements (50) interweave the warp reinforcing elements (44), and the weft reinforcing elements (50) are hairy.
