Tire comprising a crown reinforcement formed of at least two working crown layers each formed of reinforcing elements inserted between two skim layers of rubber compound. First layer S of polymer compound is in contact with a working crown layer and the carcass reinforcement. The crown reinforcement comprises a layer of circumferential reinforcing elements. The elastic modulus under tension at 10% elongation of a skim layer of a working crown layer is less than 8.5 MPa, the maximum value of tan() of the skim layer of a working crown layer is <0.100. First layer S comprises a filled elastomer blend having a macro dispersion coefficient Z65 and a maximum tan() value <0.100 and its complex dynamic shear modulus G*, measured at 10% and 60 C. on the return cycle is >1.35 MPa.

The aspect ratio of this tire 2 is not greater than 75%. The tire 2 includes: a carcass 12 extending from one bead 8 to the other bead 8; a belt 14 located between a tread 4 and the carcass 12; and a cushion layer 16 located between an end 54 of the belt 14 and the carcass 12. Each bead 8 includes a core 34 and an apex 36. The zone from the inner end of the cushion layer 16 to the outer end of the apex 36 is a flexible zone. The ratio of a length F in the radial direction of the flexible zone to a cross-sectional height A of the carcass 12 is not less than 0.25 and not greater than 0.4.

The elastic modulus under tension at 10% elongation of first layer C is less than 8 MPa, the maximum value of tan() of first layer C is less than 0.100. The second layer S is made up of a filled elastomer blend having a macro dispersion coefficient Z greater than or equal to 65 and a maximum tan() value less than 0.100, and its complex dynamic shear modulus G*, measured at 10% and 60 C. on the return cycle, is greater than 1.35 MPa.

Tire comprising a crown reinforcement formed of two working crown layers having unequal axial widths, layer C of rubber compound between ends of the working crown layers, layer S of polymer compound in contact with at least one working crown layer and in contact with the carcass reinforcement and the crown reinforcement comprising a layer of circumferential reinforcing elements arranged radially between two working crown layers. Distance d between the end of the axially narrowest working layer and the working layer separated from the axially narrowest working layer by the layer C is 1.1<d<2.2, being the diameter of the reinforcing elements of the layer of circumferential reinforcing elements, in a meridian plane. The thickness of layer C is substantially constant and the complex dynamic shear modulus G*, measured at 10% and 60 C. on the return cycle, of layer S is greater than 1.35 MPa.
Tire with specified arrangement of elastomeric polymer compound
The invention relates to a tire with radial carcass reinforcement, made up of at least one layer of metal reinforcing elements, the said tire comprising a crown reinforcement, itself radially capped by a tread, the said tread being connected to two beads via two side walls, the said tire comprising a first layer of polymer compound radially between the carcass reinforcement and the radially innermost layer of reinforcing elements of the crown reinforcement. According to the invention, the said first layer of polymer compound constitutes a buffer zone designed to trap oxygen on the outside of the said first layer, the axial width of the said first layer being at least equal to 70% of the width of the radially innermost layer of reinforcing elements of the crown reinforcement.

A first layer S of polymer compound is in contact with at least one working crown layer and in contact with the carcass reinforcement, the said first layer S of polymer compound extending axially as far as at least the axial end of the tread and the complex dynamic shear modulus G*, measured at 10% and 60 C. on the return cycle, of the first layer S of polymer compound is greater than 1.35 MPa.

METHOD OF MAKING A TIRE WITH MULTIPLE BODY PLIES
A method of making a tire includes providing a first body ply having a first width and laying a second body ply above the first body ply. The second body ply has a second width less than the first width. The method also includes laying a third body ply above the second body ply. The third body ply has a third width greater than the first width. The method further includes laying a first bead at a first location above the third body ply, laying a second bead at a second location above the third body ply, laying a first stabilizer ply insert at a third location above the third body ply, and laying a second stabilizer ply insert at a fourth location above the third body ply. The third location is between the first location and the second location, and the fourth location is between the third location and the second location.
Construction plant vehicle tire with low environmental footprint
The environmental footprint of a tire for a construction plant vehicle is improved. To do so, the elastomer compounds derived from non-fossil resources represent a mass content greater than or equal to 65% of the total mass of the compounds of the tire, at least 75% of the total mass of the compounds of the tire is made up of elastomer compounds each of which has a viscoelastic loss, measured in terms of tan(), less than or equal to 0.065, and an electrical resistivity greater than or equal to 1E+10 .Math.cm.
TIRE WITH MULTIPLE STEEL BELTS AND A REINFORCEMENT LAYER
A tire includes a pair of annular beads, a body ply extending between the pair of annular beads, and at least three steel belt layers disposed above the body ply and extending axially across a portion of the body ply. The tire further includes at least one reinforcement layer disposed above the at least three steel belt layers, a circumferential tread disposed above the at least one reinforcement layer and extending axially across the tire, and a pair of sidewalls extending between each of the pair of annular beads and a pair of shoulders associated with the circumferential tread.
