READY TO USE GROW BAGS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
An elongated bag for use as a ready-to-use grow bag. The bag is manufactured as an elongated body of a polyethylene terephthalate or similar material with a sealed bottom and a sealable top. The bag includes a score line for a tear strip in an area sufficiently below the top and above the fill material to allow the bag to lie flat for transportation and deploy into a cylinder for planting.
Seedling pot
One or more slit 14 extending from a free end 13 to an end portion 11 of a folded portion 10 is formed in a tongue piece portion 12 of a pot body, an intermediate portion of each of sides 6 of an opening end portion 3 is bendable in a direction opposite to a center O of the opening end portion 3 at a position of the slit 14 and a base portion of the end portion 11, and an additional vertex 5a is formed at a bent portion in addition to vertices 5 of a polygon of the opening end portion 3 when the intermediate portion of each of the sides 6 of the opening end portion 3 is bent.
Closed loop self-watering sub-irrigation planter
A closed loop sub-irrigation self-watering planter of unitary construction amendable to additive or subtractive manufacturing. A three-dimensional outer mold line decorative flowerpot fused to a structural strength and moisture air lattice barrier, that is fused to a self-watering inner mold line sub irrigated planter. A divider divides an upper space of the planter for soil and a lower space for a water reservoir, wherein a conduit extends from the reservoir through the divider to an open end of the upper space, wherein the reservoir can be filled through the conduit. A soil opening in the divider communicates soil in the upper space with soil compacted in the second portion. A drain hole near an upper portion of the reservoir results in all water from the reservoir to pass through saturation holes in the second portion into the compacted soil therein for leaching into the soil of the upper spaced.
Plant growing system and methods of using the same
A system includes a base plate, a stand, an adjustable lighting fixture that overhangs the base plate and is attached to the stand, and a growing container that fits within the base plate. The growing container accommodates a plant growing system. The plant growing system includes a biodegradable outer shell, a rooting media, a fertilizer or nutrient, and a removable lid.
Container For Potting A Plant And Method For Manufacturing The Same
A container featuring a three-dimensional drainage system. The container comprises a wall and a base with a mesh structure incorporating a channel structure that inhibits water flow. Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) geometries may be used. In the context of plant containers, this design, created through additive manufacturing, allows for efficient water drainage while retaining soil and nutrients. The TPMS structure, such as gyroid architecture, provides superior fluid flow and soil retention compared to traditional perforated bases and eliminates the need for plastics. The design improves plant health through optimized drainage and aeration.
