Accessory assembly for coupling a unit to an animal band
An accessory assembly for coupling a unit to an animal band, having a support frame that includes a locking gap positioned on one end of the support frame, a latch protrusion positioned on the other end of the support frame, a proximally positioned receiving aperture, and a plurality of strap retention structures configured for coupling to at least one strap, the straps configured for coupling to an animal band. The accessory assembly further has a coupling latch having an actuator positioned on one end of the coupling latch and a locking mechanism positioned on the other end of the coupling latch opposite the actuator where the coupling latch is configured to be coupled to the support frame by placing the locking mechanism within the locking gap and positioning the actuator around the latch protrusion, and where the coupling latch is further configured to laterally move the locking mechanism.
Pet leash with pet waste pickup/carry bag
A pet leash with a removably attached disposable plastic bag for picking up dog waste and holding the dog waste during a walk. The plastic bag can be removably contained within a pouch that is removably attached to the leash. During a walk, when needing to retrieve pet waste, the bag can be opened and the user insert his hand from the bottom of the bag and the bag is partially or completely turned inside-out for retrieving the pet waste. With the hand in the bag it is possible to reach down and pick up the dog waste by grasping the pet waste through the material of the bag. After all the waste is grasped, the user pulls his hand back through the bag to return the bag back to its original orientation with the pet waste within the bag. The bag can then be closed and later removed from the leash to dispose of the bag with the pet waste therein.
Canine Tethering Device
A canine tethering device for walking a dog includes a leash that is coupled to an upper end of a frame. An umbrella, a flashlight, and a pouch are coupled to the frame. A sprayer that comprises capsaicin and propellent is coupled to the leash. The sprayer is configured to selectively aerosolize the capsaicin. Waste bags are sequentially extractable, through a hole that is positioned in the pouch, from a roll that is positioned in the pouch. A pair of jaws is pivotally coupled to a lower end of the frame. An actuator is coupled to the frame proximate to the upper end. The actuator is operationally coupled to the jaws. The actuator is positioned to pivot the jaws to an open configuration to insert dog waste between the jaws and to pivot the jaws to a closed configuration to collect the dog waste.
REDUNDANT RETENTION OF A REMOVABLE DEVICE
An apparatus for redundant retention of a device comprises a mountable device comprising a first side having a first fastening portion and a second fastening portion, at the first fastening portion, an elongated body having an inclined face parallel to and protruding from the first side and a flat face perpendicular to the first side, at the second fastening portion, a circular body with a smooth circular face, the circular body protruding from the first side, a removable device comprising a corresponding first side having a corresponding first fastening portion and a corresponding second fastening portion, at the corresponding first fastening portion, a first groove for receiving the elongated body and engaging a first retention mechanism, at the corresponding second fastening portion, a second groove for receiving the circular body and engaging a second retention mechanism.
DOG COAT WITH CONCEALABLE OUTER LAYER
A garment for a four legged animal comprises a first expanse configured to substantially cover the trunk of an animal. A first set of wings are coupled to a proximal end of the first expanse and configured to secure together about the neck of the animal. A second set of wings are coupled to the first expanse distally to the first set and configured to secure together about the trunk of the animal. A collar extending forwardly from the proximal end of the first expanse is configured to be folded back to create a gap with the first expanse. The second expanse is configured to attach to and substantially cover the first expanse in a first, unfurled position and to roll up adjacent the proximal end of the first expanse in a second, stowed position within the gap formed between the collar and the first expanse.
Slidable Leash
A quick leash system includes a flexible elongated member having a proximal end and a distal end, a handle portion disposed at the proximal end of said flexible elongated member, and a stopper attached to the flexible elongated member at a position at or near the distal end of said flexible elongated member, wherein the handle portion and the flexible elongated member are configured to move unabated through the pass-through engagement until the stopper prevents the distal end of the flexible elongated member from passing through the pass-through engagement.
Pet health monitor with collar attachment and charger
In one embodiment, a collar attachment comprising a disk having a first collar band loop integrally formed with the disk along a first arcuate perimeter portion of the disk and a second collar band loop integrally formed with the disk along a second arcuate perimeter portion of the disk that is opposite the first arcuate perimeter portion of the disk; a keyhole in the disk; friction attachment means formed in an underside of the disk and configured to receive at least a first tab of an attached device and to snugly hold the first tab against the underside of the disk after rotation of the attached device in the keyhole.
Leash attachment system with flip cup and liquid dispenser
A leash attachment and method for using the leash attachment are provided. The leash attachment has a built-in flip open cup that allows an animal to drink from the flip open cup once liquid is expelled to the distal end of the cup via a nozzle. Unused liquid form the flip open cup drains back via a funnel into the leash attachment by way of a fill hole. The leash attachment attaches to a leash via a rolling cam with ridges on the cam's outer surface.
