APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A BAG DISPENSER
A bag dispenser having a housing adapted to receive plastic bags. The housing has a front end, a back end that is spaced apart from the front end, a top side, a bottom side that is spaced apart from the top side, a left side, a right side that is spaced apart from the left side, a front opening that is disposed at the front end, and a pair of back openings that are disposed at the back end. The housing defines an interior space adapted to removably hold the plastic bags. The bag dispenser also comprises a means for attaching the housing to another object. A method for removably holding plastic bags in a bag dispenser.
Blind Dog Navigation System
The present invention relates to a device and a method associated with helping blind dogs navigate. With respect to the device, it is a set of one or more sensors and stimulators, which provide situational awareness to a blind dog regarding objects and sudden drops in its vicinity, helping the dog freely move about without the risk of collision or fall. The core components of the invention are a distance sensor, a microcontroller, a tactile/audio stimulator, an accelerometer, a power source, a control panel, a body harness, and a head wrap, which, generally speaking, are configured as follows: a frontal distance sensor mounted on top of a blind dog's head using the head band, the lower distance sensor, the stimulators, the microcontroller, the accelerometer, the power source, and the control panel are mounted on the blind dog using the body harness. With respect to the associated method, in order to carry out the method the following core steps are followed: a frontal distance sensor method to detect the objects in front of the blind dog and alert the blind dog when a collision is imminent, a drop sensor method to detect sudden drops in front of the blind dog and alert the dog when a fall is imminent, a velocity calibration method and a velocity computation method determine the movements of the dog based on accelerometer signals, and a velocity compensated alert method adjust and increase the alert distance/time when the dog is moving toward an obstacle or a drop.
Storage garment
A storage garment stores a liquid in an interior bladder providing facilitated access to the liquid while it is carried inside the storage garment. A jacket is configured to be worn by a user, such as a dog. The jacket forms a substantially contoured fit over the user and has a harness portion that fastens around the user. At least one pocket portion in the jacket holds at least one bladder portion. The bladder portion holds liquid, such as water, to hydrate or clean. A pocket fastener regulates access to the bladder. A tube portion carries liquid to the user and a valve portion regulates the liquid flow. A pump portion forces the liquid out of the bladder through an outlet. A secondary pocket holds a container that folds for stowage and expands into a bowl shape for holding liquid.
ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY FOR COUPLING A UNIT TO AN ANIMAL BAND
Disclosed is an accessory assembly for coupling a unit to an animal band. In one embodiment, the accessory assembly comprises a support frame, the support frame including a locking gap positioned on one end of the support frame, a latch protrusion positioned on the other end of the support frame, a proximally positioned receiving aperture, and a plurality of strap retention structures configured for coupling to at least one strap, the straps configured for coupling to an animal band. The accessory assembly further comprises a coupling latch comprising an actuator positioned on one end of the coupling latch and a locking mechanism positioned on the other end of the coupling latch opposite the actuator wherein the coupling latch is configured to be coupled to the support frame by placing the locking mechanism within the locking gap and positioning the actuator around the latch protrusion, and wherein the coupling latch is further configured to laterally move the locking mechanism in response to a force applied to the actuator toward the receiving aperture.
Pet leash accessory assembly
A pet leash accessory assembly may be utilized with a variety of off-the-shelf accessories including, but not limited to, flashlights, pet waste bags and personal attack deterrents. The pet leash accessory assembly allows an off-the-shelf accessory to be attached at different locations on the lease, for example attached to the leash handle or strap, and to be attached to many different types of leashes, for example, flat, thin leashes and round, rope-like leashes.
WALK N ROLL RETRACTABLE LEASH FOR A PET
An apparatus with a roll of one or more pick-up bags for a pet includes: (i) a handle, (ii) a push button, (iii) a roll of one or more plastic pick-up bags, (iv) a plastic housing (v) a nylon leash, (vi) a nylon cord, and (vii) a leash lock. The user holds the pet leash apparatus using the handle. The plastic housing includes: (i) a cavity, (ii) a snap, and (iii) a metal rod. The cavity encloses the roll of one or more plastic pick-up bags. The snap locks to the metal rod. The nylon cord attaches to the leash. The nylon leash is attached to the collar of the pet using the metal clasp. The nylon leash is retractable. The leash lock allows the user to lock or release the cord when the user presses the push button.
Waste disposal and storage device
A waste disposal device includes a waste container having a first compartment and a second compartment and a leash connected to the waste container at each of a first location of the waste container and a second location of the waste container, such that a portion of the leash between the first location and the second location define a first handle. The waste container may include an opening in a surface of the waste container that exposes a portion of the second compartment. The first compartment may further include a liner. The leash may further have a second handle at a location apart from the first handle.
Devices and methods for harmonic power control for wireless power transmission
In one aspect, an apparatus for wirelessly transmitting power to a wireless power receiver comprises a transmitter circuit configured to transmit wireless power via a magnetic field at a first frequency and a second frequency, the second frequency different than the first frequency and is an integer multiple of the first frequency. The apparatus further includes a processor circuit configured to detect a presence of multiple wireless power receivers each being capable of receiving power via the magnetic field over at least one of the first and second frequency and further configured to identify frequency charging capabilities of each of the detected wireless power receivers. The transmitter circuit further configured to concurrently transmit wireless power to first and second wireless power receivers at the first frequency and the second frequency, respectively, based on the respective charging capabilities of the first and second wireless power receivers.
