The center land region (CR) forms a dense structure, in which no main groove extending along the tire circumferential direction (TC) is formed. The shoulder land region (SR) includes a block (40) partitioned by a plurality of shoulder lateral grooves (30) crossing in the tire width direction (TW). A sipe (50) extending in the tire width direction (TW) and having one end communicating with the one circumferential main groove (20) is formed in the block (40). A projection (43) projecting inward in the tire width direction is formed on a first groove wall (21) of the circumferential main groove (20) in a corner part (41) of the block (40) formed by intersection of the one circumferential main groove (20) and the shoulder lateral groove (30).

A pneumatic tire includes circumferential main grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction on the tread surface, and in widthwise outermost land portions, widthwise grooves extending from the tread edges inward in the tire width direction and widthwise sipes extending from the tire widthwise inner edge of the widthwise grooves inward in the tire width direction and connecting to the circumferential main groove. Each widthwise sipe includes a widened portion, by the sipe bottom, with a larger sipe width than at the tread surface. A rectangle ratio is less than 0.8. In a tire radial region containing the widened portion, the widened portion includes a portion extending at a first angle relative to the tire width direction. In plan view of the tread surface, each widthwise sipe extends along the tire width direction or at a second angle smaller than the first angle relative to the tire width direction.

Provided is a pneumatic tire. At least three blocks of a plurality of blocks formed on a tread portion, which include an outermost block positioned on an outermost side in a tire lateral direction and are adjacent to each other in the tire lateral direction, and at least two longitudinal grooves positioned between the at least three blocks are arranged on a platform, which is raised from a groove bottom of a lateral groove, has a flat top surface, and has a shape protruding toward both sides in a tire circumferential direction with respect to the at least three blocks. On a groove bottom of a longitudinal groove adjacent to the outermost block, a raised bottom portion raised from the groove bottom of the longitudinal groove is provided. The raised bottom portion connects the outermost block and the block adjacent to the outermost block.

Tire

A tire comprises a tread portion axially divided into four land regions. The tire has a mounting direction to a vehicle and the land regions 4 include a widest outboard middle land region. The outboard middle land region is provided with first, second and third inclined grooves. The first inclined groove extends from a crown main groove and terminates within the outboard middle land region. The second inclined groove has its both ends terminated within the outboard middle land region. The third inclined groove intersects the first and second inclined grooves.

COMMERCIAL VEHICLE TIRE

Commercial vehicle tire of radial design with a tread with circumferential grooves formed to a profile depth, which divide the tread into at least two profile ribs (1) running in the central region of the tread with profile blocks (2) separated from one another by transverse grooves (3) and into shoulder-side profile ribs, wherein at least one of the circumferential grooves (4) adjoining a central profile rib (1) has, in cross section, a radially outer sipe-like narrow section (6) and a channel (8) adjoining this in the interior of the tread which is configured to be wider than the sipe-like narrow section (6) and which is delimited by two channel walls (8b) and a channel bottom (8a) forming the groove bottom, and wherein this circumferential groove (4) is interrupted in its course by entry points of transverse grooves (3).

Opposite the entry points, a projection (9, 9′) is formed locally in each case on the channel wall (8b) located opposite the entry points of the transverse grooves (3).
