Civil engineering vehicle tire

The tread of a civil engineering vehicle tire comprises a rubber composition based on at least one elastomer matrix comprising from 50 to 100 phr of a styrene-butadiene copolymer and from 0 to 50 phr of isoprene elastomer; a reinforcing filler comprising predominantly carbon black with CTAB specific surface area greater than or equal to 90 m.sup.2/g; from 1 to 30 phr of at least one hydrocarbon resin predominantly consisting of units derived from aromatic and cycloaliphatic monomers, having an aromatic proton content between 0 and 12%, an ethylenic proton content greater than 3%, a number-average molecular weight above 500 g/mol and a polydispersity index greater than 2; and a crosslinking system.

Pneumatic tire

To provide a pneumatic tire that provides improved driving performance on unpaved roads and cut resistance. High blocks and low blocks with different raised heights are provided as side blocks provided in a side region. One of the high blocks and one of the low blocks adjacent to each other in a tire circumferential direction are defined as a block pair. The high block and the low block included in the block pair are partially in contact with each other. Thus, a side groove between these blocks is a closed groove. In each block pair, a pair of contour lines (a first linear portion, a second linear portion, and a third linear portion) define edges on both sides, in the tire circumferential direction, of a top surface of each of the high block and the low block.

PNEUMATIC RADIAL TIRE

A pneumatic radial tire 1 for a passenger car includes a carcass 6, a belt layer 7, and a tread portion 2. The tread portion 2 includes outer and inner shoulder land regions 16 and 17 and outer and inner middle land regions 18 and 19. The outer shoulder land region 16 is provided with a plurality of outer shoulder lateral grooves 21. The inner shoulder land region 17 is provided with a plurality of inner shoulder lateral grooves 22. Number of the inner shoulder lateral grooves 22 is larger than number of the outer shoulder lateral grooves 21. The outer and inner middle land regions 18 and 19 are provided with a plurality of middle sipes 23 each extending from an edge on a side of an inner tread edge (Ti) of the respective land region toward an outer tread edge (To) and terminating within the respective land region.

A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion being provided with a plurality of inclined main grooves extending beyond a tire equator from one of a first tread edge and a second tread edge and terminating without reaching the other one of the first tread edge and the second tread edge. Each of the inclined main grooves includes an outer portion and an inner portion. The outer portion extends from the first tread edge or the second tread edge without reaching the tire equator while increasing an angle relative to an axial direction of the tire. The inner portion is connected to the outer portion and traverses the tire equator at a smaller angle relative to the axial direction of the tire than the angle of the outer portion.

Tire tread for heavy vehicle of construction plant tire

Tire (1) for a heavy vehicle of construction plant type with tread (2) comprising raised elements (3), separated by grooves (4), extending radially outwards from a bottom surface (5) as far as a contact face (6) over a height (H) and comprising base compound (9) and coating compound (10). Coating compound (10) has a constant maximum thickness (e.sub.max), at the contact face (6) of each raised element (3), at most equal to 0.15 H, the coating compound (10) has a constant minimum thickness (e.sub.min), at each groove bottom (8), at least equal to 0.04 H, and the elongation at break at 23 C. A.sub.R2 of the coating compound (10) is at least equal to 1.05 times the elongation at break of 23 C. A.sub.R1 of the base compound (9).

TIRE AND THREE-WHEELED VEHICLE WITH THE SAME

A tire includes a tread portion provided with a tread profile which is curved in an arcuate shape in a tire meridian section so that the tread portion includes a crown region contacting with the ground during straight running, and a pair of shoulder regions contacting with the ground during cornering by leaning the tire at a certain camber angle. The crown region has a land ratio of not less than 98%, and the shoulder regions have a land ratio of from 85% to 93%.
