PNEUMATIC TIRE

A pneumatic tire is provided that achieves improved drainage property over conventional. A slit formed in a tread includes a first slit formed in a state continuously extending from an outside intermediate land spanning a central land, an inside intermediate land and an inside shoulder land, the first slit including a first curved portion within a range from the outside intermediate land through the central land to a middle of the inside intermediate land that curves to the tire-circumferential direction other side, and including a second curved portion within a range from a middle of the inside intermediate land to the inside shoulder land that curves to the opposite side than the first curved portion in the tire-circumferential direction, i.e. tire-circumferential direction other side.

A pneumatic tire includes a tread. The tread includes a pair of shoulder main grooves, and shoulder ribs disposed further outward in the tire axial direction relative to the shoulder main grooves, respectively. Each of the shoulder ribs includes a slit that extends in a direction intersecting the shoulder main grooves and terminates within the shoulder rib. The slit has an inward end in the tire axial direction, and the inward end is disposed further inward in the tire axial direction relative to a contact end of the tread. The tread includes a contact patch having a rectangle ratio A of 0.6 or more and 0.7 or less.

VEHICLE WHEEL TYRE

A tyre includes a tread band, a tread surface which is radially external to the tread band, and a plurality of blocks formed on the tread band. Each block is at least partially delimited by a groove which defines a flank of the block. The flank is joined to a tread surface portion. The tread surface portion is defined on the block in the region of an edge of the block. There are, on a portion of the edge, a plurality of consecutive recesses and, in the region of at least two of these recesses, there is a respective block portion which defines a protrusion. The protrusion projects from the flank of the block towards the inner side of the groove and extends as far as a bottom of the groove.

Tire comprising an optimized layer of self-sealing product

The tire comprises a tread (14) comprising a deeply cut rib (68, 70) and a slightly cut rib (62, 64, 66), and a layer of a self-sealing product (80) comprising: a portion (90, 92) extending in line with the deeply cut rib (68, 70) and having an average thickness Ec>0 of self-sealing product, and a portion (100, 102, 104) extending in line with the slightly cut rib (62, 64, 66) and having an average thickness Eb0 of self-sealing product such that Eb<Ec.
