Pneumatic vehicle tyre
Tread profile of a pneumatic vehicle tyrein particular for commercial vehiclescomprising a regroovable tread profile with radially raised profile elements (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and with grooves (6, 7, 8, 9), which respectively separate two adjacent profile elements (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) from one another, wherein the grooves (6, 7, 8, 9) are bounded inwards in the radial direction R by a groove base (10) and on both sides in the axial direction by a profile element flank, forming the groove wall (12, 13), and wherein at least one regrooving indicator (14) for indicating the regrooving depth is respectively formed in one or more grooves (3), characterized in that, in at least one groove (8), all of the regrooving indicators (14) formed therein are formed in a groove wall (12) at a height H measured in the radial direction R of H>0 mm above the groove base (10), wherein the height H corresponds to the maximum radial abrasion position of the tyre for regrooving.
TIRE
In a tire in which an electronic component is embedded, the electronic component is embedded at a position overlapping, in a tire-radial direction, with a main groove extending in a circumferential direction of an annular tread rubber, which extends in the circumferential direction of the tire.
Tire Crown For A Heavy Duty Civil Engineering Vehicle
Crown of a tire for a heavy vehicle that is desensitized to attacks. The tire (1) comprises tread (2) having a median degree of surface siping TL.sub.C, expressed in m/m.sup.2, equal to the ratio between the cumulative length L.sub.DC of the cuts (21), present in a median portion of tread of axial width W.sub.C, and the median area A.sub.C of the radially outer surface (23) of the tread (2), and protective reinforcement (4) comprising at least two protective layers (41, 42) that are formed of elastic metallic reinforcers and have a maximum breaking strength R.sub.max, expressed in daN/m, such that the median degree of surface siping TL.sub.C of tread (2) is at least equal to 5 m/m.sup.2 and a coupling ratio C.sub.C, equal to the ratio between the maximum breaking strength R.sub.max and the median degree of surface siping TL.sub.C, is at least equal to 18 000 daN.
PNEUMATIC VEHICLE TIRES
Pneumatic vehicle tire, in particular a commercial vehicle tire, having a tread which has a profile and has at least one circumferential groove (1) which is encircling in the circumferential direction, is embodied to a profile depth (P.sub.T) and in the cross section, starting at the tread external face, is composed of three adjoining groove portions, one outer groove portion (2) that expands in a funnel-shaped manner toward the outside, one 1 mm to 3 mm wide contracted groove portion, and one inner groove portion (4) which lies radially inward, is expanded in relation to the contracted groove portion (3) and has the largest cross-sectional face of all portions, and which is delimited by two cover flanks (4a), lateral groove flanks (4b, 4b) that adjoin said cover flanks (4a), and a groove base (4c). The lateral groove flanks (4b, 4b) in the expanded groove portion (4), while reducing the mutual spacing thereof from the groove base (4c), run at an angle () of 5 to 25 in relation to the radial direction and in the direction of the circumferential extent of said lateral groove flanks (4b, 4b) run in a wave form
Device for attenuating rolling noise for a tire
The disclosure is related to a tread for a tire, this tread having a tread surface intended to come into contact with a roadway and comprising at least one groove of width W and depth P delimited by two facing lateral walls, these lateral walls being connected together by a groove bottom. At least one groove has a plurality of closing devices for reducing the running resonance noise generated by this groove, each closing device comprising at least two sets of flexible blades, a first set is connected to the bottom of the groove and is intended to flex around a first axis, and at least one second set connected to a lateral wall delimiting the groove, this second set being intended to flex around a second axis, this second axis being different than the first axis.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A rib-like land section partitioned by main grooves, a plurality of sub-grooves provided in the rib-like land section at intervals in the tire circumferential direction and a groove hole provided between the sub-grooves adjacent to each other and extending in the tire circumferential direction are provided in a tread section. The sub-groove includes a lateral groove portion, in which one end opens to the main groove and the other end terminates inside the rib-like land section, and a longitudinal groove portion extending from the other end of the lateral groove portion to one side in the tire circumferential direction and terminating inside the rib-like land section. The groove hole is formed so that a groove depth at one end part close to a terminal end of the longitudinal groove portion becomes shallower than a groove depth at the other end part far from the terminal end.
Utility vehicle tire
