Tire for preventing irregular tread wear
A tire includes a reinforcing rib formed on a groove to prevent irregular wear of a tread and including an auxiliary hidden groove formed in the groove to enhance capabilities of water absorption and drainage of the tire even when the reinforcing rib is formed on the groove. The tire can include a reinforcing rib coupled to a first sidewall, which is one of both sidewalls forming the groove, and protruding toward the groove from the first sidewall, a hidden groove formed in one portion of a second sidewall which is the other of the sidewalls forming the groove, and a remaining tread part protruding toward the groove from a side surface of the hidden groove, the remaining tread part being the other portion of the second sidewall.
TYRE
A tyre includes a tread portion having a tread surface provided with grooves extending in a tyre axial direction. The grooves each include an opening formed on the tread surface, a minimum portion located inwardly in a tyre radial direction of the opening and having a groove width being locally minimum, and a maximum portion located inwardly in the tyre radial direction of the minimum portion and having a groove width being locally maximum in a region inwardly in the tyre radial direction of the opening.
TYRE
An outer shoulder land region includes first shoulder lateral grooves each extending axially inwardly from an outer tread ground contact edge to have a first inner end in the tyre axial direction within the outer shoulder land region, first outer shoulder lateral sipes each connecting between the first inner end and an outer shoulder main groove, and second outer shoulder lateral sipes each extending axially inwardly from the outer tread ground contact edge to have a second inner end positioned on an axially outer side of the first inner ends. An outer middle land region includes outer middle lateral sipes each smoothly connected with the respective first outer shoulder lateral sipe with the outer shoulder main groove therebetween. Each of the outer middle lateral sipes connects between the outer shoulder main groove and an outer crown main groove and has a third inner end within the outer middle land region.
TYRE
A tyre includes a tread portion including a tread surface which is provided with grooves. At least one of the grooves includes a widening-width portion at least partially. The widening-width portion includes a first groove portion extending inwardly in a tyre radial direction from the tread surface, and a second groove portion located inwardly in the tyre radial direction of the first groove portion and having a groove width greater than that of the first groove portion.
Tread for heavy vehicle tire
The tread has a total width W and two main grooves. The main grooves divide the tread into a middle region and edge regions. The middle region has an axial width Lm that is 45% to 70% of the total width W. The volume void ratio of the tread when new is less than 17%. An internal surface extends parallel to the tread surface when new and is in contact radially with the innermost points of the deepest main grooves. The middle part has a plurality of transverse sipes, each of which has a depth at least equal to the depth of the main grooves. The transverse sipes open into the main grooves. The middle region has a volume void ratio when new that is less than half the total volume void ratio of the tread, and at least one circumferential channel appears when the tread becomes part worn.
TREAD FOR A TIRE
A first tire includes a tread having a circumferential center rib and a circumferential intermediate rib laterally adjacent the center rib, the intermediate rib being separated from the center rib by a first circumferential groove, a second circumferential rib bordering the intermediate rib opposite the first circumferential groove, the tread further including two other circumferential grooves; at least one stiffener element disposed within each of the four circumferential grooves, the stiffener elements having a reduced height relative to a height of the center and intermediate ribs; and the stiffener element having a circumferentially oriented cut extending into an upper surface of the stiffener element toward a bottom of the stiffener element, the cut extending circumferentially through the stiffener element with the cut bounded by opposite laterally inward facing cut sides.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire comprises a plurality of main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of land portions that are partitioned by at least one contact patch end and the plurality of main grooves, at least one of the land portions comprises a protruding region that protrudes from a tread profile, a beveled region that is arranged at an end in a tire width direction of the at least one land portion, and a connecting surface that connects a surface of the protruding region and a surface of the beveled region and that is arranged so as to be parallel to a line drawn normal to the tread profile.
Pneumatic tire
In a pneumatic tire including a plurality of main grooves extending in a tire circumference direction and ribs interposed between the two main grooves out of the plurality of main grooves, the ribs include a narrow groove including first narrow groove portions extending in one direction and second narrow groove portions extending in a direction different from the one direction and being arranged alternately in a zigzag pattern, the first narrow groove portions each include a bent portion and a narrow groove bottom sipe at a groove bottom of a portion including the bent portion.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, a rubber surface layer portion comprises a first rubber portion formed from a first rubber, and a second rubber portion formed from a second rubber having a rubber hardness greater than a rubber hardness of the first rubber, the first rubber portion is arranged at a first side in a tire width direction, the second rubber portion is arranged at a second side in the tire width direction, an interface between the first rubber portion and the second rubber portion is arranged between a pair of main grooves that are arranged in outwardmost fashion in the tire width direction, and an average tire outside diameter toward the second side in the tire width direction from a tire equatorial plane is greater than an average tire outside diameter toward the first side in the tire width direction from the tire equatorial plane.
A Noise Reducing Tread
The tread has a contact face intended to come into contact with ground during rolling and comprising at least one primary groove having depth D and being delimited by groove sidewalls. The groove sidewalls are axially connected by a groove bottom. The primary groove is provided with a closing device including at least two flexible fences. A first flexible fence has a thickness t1 extending from the groove bottom, and a second flexible fence has a thickness t2 extending from one of groove sidewalls toward the other. The flexible fences are distant each other in an orientation the primary groove extends with a gap g and overlap partly in sectional view of the primary groove. The gap g is at most equal to 1.0 mm. This tread provides further satisfactory reduction on groove resonance and productivity for manufacturing such tread.
