Furthermore, the first lateral groove connects to the first long portion of the circumferential narrow groove having the zigzag shape, and the second lateral groove connects to the second long portion of the circumferential narrow groove having the zigzag shape.

Additionally, the opening area ratio Sc of the recessed portions in the central portion region in the tire lateral direction of one continuous contact patch and the opening area ratio Se of the recessed portions in the end portion regions in the tire lateral direction have the relationship Se<Sc, where the central portion region is defined as the region in the central portion in the tire lateral direction occupying 50% of the continuous contact patch of the land portions, and the end portion regions are defined as the regions in the left and right end portions in the tire lateral direction occupying 25%.

No grooves having width of 2 mm or more are formed in the crown and middle lands, the tread has first and second halves and has first sipes in the first half such that each has width of less than 2 mm and extends from the crown to shoulder lands via the grooves, second sipes in the second half such that each has width of less than 2 mm and extends from the crown to shoulder lands via the grooves without reaching the ground contact edge, and third sipes in the middle land in the second half such that each has width of less than 2 mm and extends in axial direction between second sipes adjacent in circumferential direction.
