A modular planting system which includes: an outer planter box having at least one side and being completely open at a top and open at a bottom of the outer planter box; an inner planter box having at least one side and a porous bottom and being completely open at a top of the inner planter box, the inner planter box being sized to fit within the outer planter box; wherein the outer planter box and inner planter box comprise a first module of the modular planting system.

ROTARY GARDEN APPARATUS, METHOD AND SYSTEM
20190343056 · 2019-11-14 ·

A rotary garden apparatus, method and system for growing plants comprising an open rotatable cylindrical drum mounted within a structural frame is provided wherein said apparatus comprises an accessible front area permitting access to the drum and grow trays mounted on said drum from the front of the apparatus. The rotating drum portion comprises metal bars which form struts round the periphery of the drum on which grow trays can be mounted. The grow trays are inserted by sliding them along the struts of the drum and they are held in position by arms which extend below the metal struts over which the grow trays slide into position. The inverted T shaped fit between the tray and the strut holds the tray in position during rotation without further securing mechanisms required. The operation and most routine maintenance of the apparatus can all be done from the front of the apparatus thereby permitting multiple apparatus units to be placed side by side in a grow facility or against walls. The apparatus may be stacked one above the other all of which maximizes the number of units which can be present in a defined floor space in a grow facility. A light source comprising a holding tray, a sleeve and at least one bulb as part of a rotary garden apparatus is present in the rotary garden apparatus providing light for growing plants.

GROW LIGHTS FOR HORTICULTURE

A growth lighting system includes a central module having hingeable arms to secure the central module to a ceiling; left and right panels extending from the central module, wherein each panel is positioned at a selectable inclination and angle to provide placement of the panels at predetermined position to the plant satisfying predetermined plant light requirements; and a plurality of light emitting diodes positioned on the central module and the left and right panels to provide lighting to the plants.

PLANTING STRUCTURE
20190335679 · 2019-11-07 ·

A planting structure includes a trough and a plurality of lateral covers. The trough has a hollow space and a planting space, and a canal is formed inside of the trough; the lateral covers cover a lateral side of the trough and seals off the planting space. Accordingly, the planting structure can directly perform cycled transmissions of moisture or a gas via the canal, so as to control growth conditions such as temperature and humidity in the planting space and recycle nutrient solutions and excessive moisture, thereby benefitting crops or growth of the crops and achieving environmental protection and energy saving. In comparison to the conventional indoor organic cultivation, which is necessary to control the temperature and the humidity of the whole indoor space, the present invention only needs to control the pipelines with respect to the root portions of plants, and thus is easier to control and more energy-saving.

Method and apparatus on modular gardens

A modular gardening system characterized by a rain collection system, one or more planters, a water distribution system, a growing medium, and an optional bench suitable for plant growth. The water distribution system is capable of collecting, storing, and distributing water to the plants. The modular gardening system further comprises water retention baskets with a wicking system. The method of modular gardening utilizes the modular gardening system and determines the proper plant species, growing medium, and habitat requirements while adjusting the modular gardening system for the proper application.

LED Lighting/Gardening Device and Office Screen Comprising the Device
20190313584 · 2019-10-17 ·

An office screen includes a screen frame and an LED lighting/gardening device. The frame includes a table board and multiple screen boards connected together and supporting the table board. The LED lighting/gardening device includes a container for growing a plant, means for installing the container on top of the screen boards, and an LED lighting source arranged above the container and containing multiple LEDs affixed to a support. The LEDs are located at a predetermined distance from a top of the plant, and located at a height from the table board, such that the LED lighting source provides the plant with an illumination level not greater than a photosynthesis light saturation point of the plant, and provides an illumination for the table board, wherein the predetermined distance between the LEDs and the top of the plant is less one quarter of the height between the LEDs and the table board.

SCALABLE AND RE-CONFIGURABLE SYSTEM FOR INDOOR GROWING

The present invention is a scalable and re-configurable system for indoor growing. The scalable and re-configurable system for indoor growing is comprised of a plurality of growing sleds, in which each growing sled has a plurality of plant stations. Plants are grown in receptacles on each plant station. The plant station is rotated by a drive system. Each plant station provides irrigation. Each plant station has a forced frame connected to the top of a plant support assembly. A forced frame is used to confine each plant to a known foot-print. This is necessary in indoor growing in order to make the production uniform and efficient.
