Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire includes at least four circumferential main grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction; and at least five rows of land portions including a center land portion, a pair of second land portions, and a pair of shoulder land portions, which are defined by the circumferential main grooves. Additionally, at least one row of the second land portions is provided with a plurality of lug grooves penetrating through the second land portion in the tire width direction, and a plurality of blocks defined by the plurality of lug grooves. Moreover, the plurality of blocks include one of the circumferential narrow grooves, respectively, which penetrates through the blocks in the tire circumferential direction.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire comprises an inner circumferential groove and an outer circumferential groove in a tread portion and extending in a tire circumferential direction. A land portion between circumferential grooves is defined by the inner and outer circumferential grooves. The pneumatic tire includes first and second auxiliary grooves disposed in the tire circumferential direction that communicate with the inner and outer circumferential grooves, respectively, and terminate within the land portion between circumferential grooves. The first auxiliary grooves and the second auxiliary grooves have a non-intersecting, alternating arrangement. At least one narrow groove is disposed between adjacent first auxiliary grooves. At least two narrow grooves are disposed between adjacent second auxiliary grooves. The at least two narrow grooves between second auxiliary grooves are disposed in a greater number than the number of the at least one narrow groove between first auxiliary grooves.
TIRE COMPRISING A TREAD
A tire comprises a directional tread (10), said tread comprising a central axis (12) and two edges (14A, 14B) a tread width W being greater than or equal to 140 mm, said tread (10) comprising a plurality of patterns (13) which succeed one another in the circumferential direction, each pattern having a pitch P, the patterns (13) delimiting a plurality of oblique grooves (16A, 16B), each oblique groove extending from one of the edges (14A, 14B) of the tread as far as the central axis (12). In a central part of the tread centered on the central axis (12) and of a width corresponding to 80% of the width W of said tread, all or some of the oblique grooves (16A, 16B) of the plurality of oblique grooves have a prescribed slenderness ratio, and all or some of the patterns comprise at least one sipe and have a prescribed sipes density SD.
Tire having diagonal ribs with trailing edge siping
A tire is provided having a tread region that includes continuous ribs which extend diagonally across the transverse direction of the tire. Partial sipes are provided at the trailing edges of the ribs. Full sipes can also be provided with the partial sipes. The ribs may form various patterns such as e.g., an S-shaped pattern, chevron pattern, and others. The tire provides improved traction performance over non-diagonal ribs while still providing desirable rolling resistance performance and control of irregular wear.
MOTORCYCLE TIRE AND FRONT AND REAR MOTORCYCLE TIRES
A bias-ply motorcycle tire comprises a tread portion provided with main grooves and sipes. The main grooves extend from a tread crown region into tread shoulder regions. The sipes are provided only within the tread shoulder regions.
TIRE
A tire for which a mounting direction to a vehicle is specified, has a tread portion axially divided into five land portions each provided with sipes. The five land portions are a first shoulder land portion, a first middle land portion, a crown land portion, a second middle land portion, and a second shoulder land portion having ground contacting surface widths W1s, W1m, Wc, W2m and W2s, respectively, which satisfy the following condition: W1s>W1m>Wc>W2m=>W2s under a 50% load state of the tire.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, a center land comprises a plurality of center sipes, all of the center sipes are respectively contiguous with a first end and a second end in a tire axial direction of the center land, a first shoulder land comprises a plurality of first shoulder sipes, and all of the first shoulder sipes are contiguous with an outer end in the tire axial direction of the first shoulder land but are separated from an inner end in the tire axial direction of the first shoulder land.
TRUCK TIRE WITH CIRCUMFERENTIAL SIPE HAVING BLIND MICRO SIPES
A heavy truck tire tread is provided that has a rolling direction that is in a longitudinal direction of the tread. A circumferential sipe (20) is present and extends in the longitudinal direction completely around the tread. The circumferential sipe does not bound a sacrificial rib. A plurality of micro sipes (22) engage the circumferential sipe and are located on opposite sides of the circumferential sipe in the lateral direction. The micro sipes extend from the circumferential sipe so as to terminate within rubber of the tread at a terminal end.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire with wet steering stability performance and dry steering stability performance enhanced in a well-balanced manner.
A dimple group is composed of a plurality of dimples (100 to 104) disposed at intervals and aligned in a tire circumferential direction. When the minimum center-to-center distance between different dimples (100, 102) in an identical dimple group is defined as K and the minimum center-to-center distance between dimples (104, 100) in different dimple groups is defined as L, the ratio L/K is 3.5 or more and 10.0 or less and the minimum center-to-center distance L is 20 mm or more and equal to or less than a ground contact length.
Pneumatic tire
Provided is pneumatic tire in which a land portion includes a width direction sipe extending in a tread width direction, the width direction sipe includes, in a cross section along a depth direction, a linear portion extending from an opening of the width direction sipe toward a bottom of the width direction sipe, and a bent portion connected to the linear portion, bending and extending from a connecting portion with the linear portion to the bottom of the width direction sipe, and the linear portion of the width direction sipe has a length in the depth direction increasing as the linear portion extends from a center portion of the width direction sipe in the tread width direction toward an end portion in the tread width direction.
