METHODS, SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES AND DEVICES FOR FACILITATING CULTIVATION OF PLANTS
An apparatus for facilitating cultivation of plants. The apparatus comprises a top enclosure, a bottom enclosure, a vertical column, a cover, a tray, sensors, environmental actuators, a nutrition container, and a processing device. Further, the top enclosure houses a first component. Further, the bottom enclosure houses a second component. Further, the vertical column is interspersed between the top enclosure and the bottom enclosure is forming an interior space therebetween. Further, the cover is interspersed between the top enclosure and the bottom enclosure, encloses the interior space and allows light to enter from a surrounding of the apparatus into the interior space. Further, the tray holds a plant. Further, the sensors generate sensor data representing variables. Further, the environmental actuators control environmental variables. Further, the nutrition container contains a nutritional medium. Further, the processing device controls the environmental actuators based on the sensor data.
Charged plant vessel for controlled nutrient release
A plant growing vessel includes an impervious outer vessel, a cover, a first permeable membrane, a nutrient chamber, and a pocket. The impervious outer vessel includes an inert substrate in a root zone. The cover is positioned over the impervious outer vessel. The first permeable membrane is in contact with the inert substrate. The nutrient chamber includes solid nutrients. The nutrient chamber is between the cover and the first permeable membrane or between the first permeable membrane and a bottom of the impervious outer vessel, and the solid nutrients are in contact with the first permeable membrane. The pocket is configured to allow seeds, seedlings, or shoots of plants access to the inert substrate through an aperture in the cover.
Pluggtrainer
The present invention relates to a container for propagating growth of seedlings, having a main body comprising a base, a central wall extending vertically from the base. A first wall section and a second wall section are arranged to the main body. The first wall section and the second wall section are hingeably connected to the main body. The base, the central wall, the wall sections forms in the closed condition at least two cells being open at top. The base comprises a supporting structure at the lower part of the main body, wherein the main body is provided with supporting means for holding an irrigation mat. The present invention also relates to a tray designed for receive and carry one or more of said containers, a greenhouse including the tray and one or more of the mentioned containers, and a method for propagating growth of seedlings.
Fungal volatile organic compound enhances plant s growth characteristics
A method of increasing east one growth characteristic of a plant comprising growing a Cladosporium sphaerospermum strain in or on a medium in a container, where a headspace of said C. sphaerospermum in said container is in fluid communication with a headspace of said plant, where said C. sphaerospermum produces at least one volatile organic compound (VOC), where said at least one VOC produced by said C. sphaerospermum causes the plant to have an increase in at least one growth characteristic when compared to the growth characteristic of a plant which has not been exposed to the VOC, and where said C. sphaerospermum comprises an ITS1/2 consensus amplicon of SEQ ID NO: 5 and an ITS3/4 consensus amplicon of SEQ ID NO: 6.
PLANTER WITH A REMOVABLE FLOOR
A planter having a continuous sidewall with an inner surface and an outer surface forming a container with a top and a bottom end, an internal floor flange extending inwardly from the inner surface of the sidewall proximate a bottom end of the container, and a lip extending upwardly from the flange, the lip defining a drainage aperture at the bottom end of the container, a drainage channel formed by the internal floor flange, the lip, and the sidewall, a plurality of apertures in the sidewall in communication with the drainage channel; and, a removable floor arranged to rest on the lip having a plurality of inner floor apertures arranged to drain liquid via the drainage aperture, and a plurality of outer floor apertures arranged to drain liquid via the drainage channel and the plurality of apertures in the sidewall.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GROWING PLANTS IN AN URBAN ENVIRONMENT
A system for growing plants in an urban setting is provided. The system includes a container. The container is made of a watertight material. The container includes a base and a sidewall extending from the base forming a receptacle within. The present invention further includes a cell layer. The cell layer includes a horizontal base and a plurality of vertical extending cell walls forming a plurality of water cells therebetween. A porous layer covers the cell layer. The porous layer includes a plurality of pores permitting molecules the size of water and smaller to pass through. The cell layer covered with the porous layer are disposed within the receptacle. The cell layer is then covered with soil.
Planting container
A planting container has a first basin and a second basin forming a yin-yang shape. The first basin is configured to contain soil, the second basin is configured to hold water and provided with a plastic floating board. The plastic floating board has a plurality of receiving holes with a planting basket. An inner side of the plastic floating board faces the first basin and has at least one opening allowing at least one fiber strip to pass through the opening and enter the second basin, and another end of the fiber strip passes behind the first and second basin and placed on or in the soil of the first basin.
Method of accelerating the growth and development of trees and shrubs via enhanced root development
A method and container for developing seedlings includes germinating the seeds and air pruning the seedlings to a depth of about 3 inches.
Plant Holder and Method
An improved plant holder for providing water to a plant while, optionally, reducing the ability of mosquitos and other pests to access the water.
Cultivation and sampling device for plants
A sampling device for plants having a lower section with a plurality of sample containers, an upper section with a plurality of cultivation containers, a cutter and a cutting tip, wherein a base opening is formed in each cultivation container and corresponds to a sample container opening of one of the sample containers, and wherein the cutter and cutting tip are arranged, when the sampling device is in a usage position, between the upper section and the lower section such that a part of a plant protruding out through the base opening of the cultivation container and in through the sample container opening into the sample container can be severed by the cutter and cutting tip.
