Bicycle tyre (100) comprises a pair of bead cores (8), a carcass structure (2) turned around the pair of bead cores (8) and a tread band (4) radially outer to the carcass structure (2); at each bead core (8) being provided: an elastomeric material filler (12) which extends in a radial direction for a first length (H1) starting from the bead core (8), wherein the first length (H1) is at least 20% of the distance (H4) measured in the radial direction between the bead core (8) and the radially outermost portion of the carcass structure (2).
Tire for two-wheeled automotive vehicle
A tire for a two-wheeled automotive vehicle includes a carcass that is extended on and between one of beads and the other of the beads along inner sides of a tread and sidewalls. The carcass includes a first ply and a second ply that is layered outward of the first ply. The first ply is turned up around the beads from an inner side toward an outer side in an axial direction. By the turning-up, the first ply includes a main portion and turned-up portions. The second ply is turned back around the beads from the outer side toward the inner side in the axial direction. By the turning-back, the second ply includes a main portion and turned-back portions.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire according to an embodiment, a carcass ply includes a first ply hung between a pair of bead cores and a second ply formed of a pair of ply pieces arranged on tire outer surface sides of the first ply and respectively extending from one ends positioned on a tread to beads on both sides through sidewalls on both sides to be folded about the bead cores. One end of each ply piece is positioned on an outer side in a tire width direction than a shoulder main groove and on an inner side in the tire width direction than an outer end in a width direction of a belt.
PNEUMATIC TYRE EQUIPPED WITH A TRANSPONDER
Pneumatic tyre having a toroidal carcass, which includes a body ply that is partially folded onto itself and therefore having two lateral flaps; two annular beads, each of which is surrounded by the body ply and has a bead core and a bead filler; an annular tread; a pair of sidewalls; a pair of abrasion gum strips; an innerliner which is impermeable to air and arranged within the body ply; and a transponder which is arranged between the body ply and the innerliner at a flap of the body ply. Between a radially outer end of the transponder and an edge of the body ply a first radial distance is provided that is greater than 7 mm; and between a radially inner end of the transponder and an edge of the bead filler a second radial distance is provided that is greater than 7 mm.
TIRE HAVING A CONDUCTIVITY PATH
A tire includes a pair of beads and a crown region including a circumferential tread disposed radially above a circumferential belt. The tire further includes a pair sidewalls extending from the pair of beads to the crown region. A body ply wraps around the pair of beads and terminates in a pair of turn up ends in the crown region, below the middle 30% of the circumferential belt. A conductive substance is disposed along a strip of the body ply.
Motorbike tire with specified carcass and crown reinforcements
A tire of the “bias belted” type for a motorbike comprises: a tread (2) connected by two sidewalls (3) to two beads (4). A crown reinforcement (5) is radially on the inside of the tread (2) and comprises at least one crown layer (51, 52), such a crown layer (51, 52) comprising mutually parallel reinforcers. A carcass reinforcement (6) is radially on the inside of the crown reinforcement (5) and comprises at least two carcass layers (61, 62, 63), each comprising mutually parallel reinforcers, and crossed from one carcass layer to the next. The reinforcers of each crown layer (51, 52) form, with the circumferential direction (XX′), an angle between 15° and 25° in the equatorial plane (XZ), and the reinforcers of each carcass layer (61, 62, 63) form, with the circumferential direction (XX′), an angle between 40° and 50° in the equatorial plane (XZ).
PNEUMATIC TIRE EQUIPPED WITH A TRANSPONDER
A pneumatic tire (1) having: a toroidal carcass (2), which is comprised of a body ply (3) partially collapsed onto itself and therefore having two lateral flaps; two annular beads (4), each of which is surrounded by the body ply (3) and has a bead core (5) and a bead filler (6); an annular tread (7); a pair of sidewalls (11) arranged externally to the body ply (3) between the tread (7) and the beads (4); a pair of abrasion gum strips (12) arranged externally to the body ply (3) under the sidewalls (13) and at the beads (4); and a transponder (13) which is arranged in contact with the body ply (3) at a flap of the body ply (3) and is located below an edge (19) of the body ply (3) between the edge (19) of the body ply (3) and the bead (4).
RUN-FLAT TIRE
At a run-flat tire, given that an average radius of curvature of a case line between an intersection point (0.1 SHp) and an intersection point (0.2 SHp) when viewed in a cross-section along a tire rotation axis is radius R1, and that an average radius of curvature of the case line between an intersection point (0.4 SHp) and an intersection point (0.6 SHp) when viewed in the cross-section along the tire rotation axis is radius R2, ratio R2/R1 is set to be greater than 0.3.
TYRE FOR BICYCLE WHEELS
The present invention relates to a tyre for bicycle wheels comprising a tread band containing an anti-puncture system capable of offering high resistance to the penetration of foreign bodies. In particular, the present invention relates to a tyre (100) for bicycle wheels comprising:—a carcass structure (2); and—a tread band (7) arranged in a radially outer position with respect to said carcass structure (2); characterised in that said tread band (7) is made by vulcanisation of a vulcanisable elastomeric compound comprising fibrillated polymeric fibres of micrometric dimensions, wherein at least one protective layer (6, 11) is interposed between said carcass structure (2) and said tread band (7), said protective layer (6, 11) comprising (i) a plurality of reinforcing cords of textile material oriented with respect to the equatorial plane of the tyre with an angle greater than 30°, (ii) a square fabric with textile fibres of the weft or warp oriented with respect to the equatorial plane of the tyre with an angle greater than 20°, or (iii) a non-woven fabric with randomly oriented textile fibres.
Pneumatic tire
Provided is a pneumatic tire. Both terminals of a carcass layer are overlapped with each other in a tread region. The carcass layer has a triple layer structure including an inner layer positioned most inward in a tire radial direction in the tread region, an outer layer positioned most outward in the tire radial direction in the tread region, and an intermediate layer positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer in the tread region. A cord angle in the carcass layer in a tread central region with respect to a tire circumferential direction differs in at least one of the inner layer, the outer layer, and the intermediate layer from a cord angle in the carcass layer in a side region with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
