Pneumatic vehicle tire

A vehicle pneumatic tire includes a tread, ply structure, and radial carcass extending around a bead core in each bead region and extending back under the ply structure. Side wall regions are formed by a wing rubber extending from the side of the tread toward the bead region and a rim protection rubber extending from the bead region toward the wing rubber. The wing rubber is the only rubber component extending to the tread and runs in the radially outer portion of the side wall region in contact with the carcass and covers the adjacent rubber component toward the bead region by the radially inner end section of the wing rubber. The adjacent rubber component includes an end section in the covered region narrowing toward the tread, the end of which is located a distance from a base line between 45% and 70% of the height determined therefrom.

A tire includes: a tread portion including a tread surface; a pair of sidewall portions that extend inward in a tire radial direction from both sides of the tread portion in a tire width direction; and a pair of bead portions each of which includes a bead core that is elongated continuously to an inside of the sidewall portion in the tire radial direction and extends continuously in an annular shape in a tire circumferential direction, and a bead filler disposed adjacent to the bead core and outside the bead core in the tire radial direction. A density of the reinforcing cords changes in a range from 20% inclusive to 60% inclusive of a tire sectional height from a tire inner end in the tire radial direction, and such that an outside of an area, in which the density changes, has a low density of the reinforcing cords.

A tire includes a tread portion, a sidewall portion, and a bead portion. The bead portion includes a bead core that extends continuously in an annular shape in a tire circumferential direction, and a bead filler disposed adjacent to the bead core and outside the bead core in a tire radial direction. Reinforcing cords are provided in the bead portion and the sidewall portion so as to be curved such that inclination angles of the reinforcing cords with respect to the tire circumferential direction gradually increase with nearness to an outside in the tire radial direction.

In an apex 34 of a tire 2, a reinforcing portion 48 is located inward of a main body 46 in an axial direction. When a position on an outer surface of the tire 2 at which position a height from a BBL is 14 mm is defined as a first point P1 and a position on the outer surface of the tire 2 at which position a height from the BBL is 20 mm is defined as a second point P2, the reinforcing portion 48 overlaps the first point P1 and the second point P2 in a radial direction. A loss tangent of the reinforcing portion 48 is equal to a loss tangent of the main body 46 or less than the loss tangent. A hardness of the reinforcing portion 48 is equal to a hardness of the main body 46 or greater than the hardness.

Provided is a pneumatic tire. One terminal of a carcass layer extends to a ground contact edge of a tread portion positioned on an opposite side with respect to a tire center line as a reference. The carcass layer has a double layer structure including an inner layer positioned inward in a tire radial direction in a tread region and an outer layer positioned outward in the tire radial direction of the inner layer in the tread region. A cord angle in the carcass layer in a tread central region with respect to a tire circumferential direction is different from a cord angle in at least one of the inner layer and the outer layer of the carcass layer in a side region with respect to the tire circumferential direction.

PNEUMATIC TYRE FOR A TWO-WHEELED VEHICLE HAVING A PROTECTIVE LAYER

A two-wheeler pneumatic tire, in which damage protection and puncture protection are improved while providing good rolling resistance and good tightness; the two-wheeler pneumatic tire in the bead regions has a protective layer which is disposed axially outside the carcass and which has strength members embedded in rubber material; wherein the tire carcass is formed from a first carcass ply and a second carcass ply disposed radially within in a vertex, and wherein the second carcass ply ends with a second carcass ply turn-up in a second carcass ply end in the bead region; the purpose of damage protection and puncture protection is achieved in that the first carcass ply is guided from the respective bead region in a first carcass ply turn-up over the respective tire sidewall to below the tread and at the latter ends in each case in a first carcass ply end; and that in each of the two axial halves the protective layer is guided from the bead region over the respective tire sidewall to below the tread.

Provided is a pneumatic tire. Both terminals of a carcass layer are overlapped with each other in a tread region. The carcass layer has a triple layer structure including an inner layer positioned most inward in a tire radial direction in the tread region, an outer layer positioned most outward in the tire radial direction in the tread region, and an intermediate layer positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer in the tread region. A cord angle in the carcass layer in a tread central region with respect to a tire circumferential direction differs in at least one of the inner layer, the outer layer, and the intermediate layer from a cord angle in the carcass layer in a side region with respect to the tire circumferential direction.
