PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire that can enhance durability and productivity of a carcass edge portion is disclosed. The pneumatic tire can include a tread portion, a side wall portion, and a bead portion and in which a carcass is installed at the bottom of the side wall portion and the tread portion, wherein the carcass is configured with a bottom carcass sheet and an upper carcass sheet, one end of the bottom carcass sheet having a termination point at a position that winds up a bead core of the bead portion in an outward direction, and one end of the upper carcass sheet having a termination point at an inner side surface of the bead portion.
TIRE HAVING A CONDUCTIVE INSERT
A tire includes a body ply extending from a first bead region to a second bead region and a conductive ply disposed radially above the body ply. The tire further includes a gum strip having a top end in contact with the conductive ply and a bottom end located in the first bead region.
TIRE HAVING A CONDUCTIVITY PATH
A tire includes a pair of beads and a crown region including a circumferential tread disposed radially above a circumferential belt. The tire further includes a pair sidewalls extending from the pair of beads to the crown region. A body ply wraps around the pair of beads and terminates in a pair of turn up ends in the crown region, below the middle 30% of the circumferential belt. A conductive substance is disposed along a strip of the body ply.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire has a rim strip rubber. A height of the rim strip rubber on the basis of an outer diameter position of a bead core is equal to or more than 70% of a height of a tire outer diameter position. An upper end of a side reinforcing layer is arranged closer to an outer side radially than an upper end of a bead filler. A distance from a tire maximum width position to the upper end of the side reinforcing layer is equal to or less than 5 mm. The maximum thickness Tw of the rim strip rubber between the upper end of the bead filler and the upper end of the side reinforcing layer is greater than the maximum thickness Tm of the rim strip rubber closer to the outer side radially than the upper end of the side reinforcing layer.
Pneumatic tire with dimples on one or both sidewall outer surfaces
A pneumatic tire 2 has a marking on each sidewall 8 thereof. A large number of dimples 62 are formed in a region between the marking and a rim protector 34. These dimples 62 are arranged along a circumferential direction. These dimples 62 form a row. The row includes: (1) dimples each having a plane shape of a circle; or (2) dimples in each of which a plane shape is substantially a rectangle, and a ratio of a length in the circumferential direction to a width in a radial direction is equal to or greater than 1.0 and equal to or less than 3.0.
TIRE FOR MOTORCYCLES
A tire 1 for motorcycles comprises a carcass 6, a belt layer 7, and a tread rubber 2G. The belt layer 7 includes at least one reinforcing cord coated with rubber and spirally wound. In a meridian section passing through a tire rotational axis of the tire 1 in a standard state, a width BW of the belt layer 7 in a tire axial direction is in a range of from 60% to 80% of a tread width TW. The tread rubber 2G has a thickness at a tire equator (C) in a range of from 70% to 90% of thickness at tread edges (2t).
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire has two carcass layers including carcass cords are laid between a pair of bead portions, bead cores and bead fillers are disposed in the bead portions, and at least two belt layers are disposed on the outer circumferential side of the carcass layers, the tire being characterized in that both ends of the inner carcass layer are folded back from the tire inner side to the tire outer side around the bead cores, and the ends of the folded back portions of the inner carcass layer are disposed between the innermost belt layer and the outer carcass layer, while both ends of the outer carcass layer are disposed so as to pass between a main portion of the inner carcass layer and the bead fillers, and both ends of the outer carcass layer terminate at the bead portions without being folded back around the bead cores.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire for a motorcycle includes a tread having a tread surface which makes contact with ground, a pair of beads each positioned on a radially inner side of the tread, a carcass bridging one of the beads and the other one of the beads, and a reinforcement layer laminated on the carcass on the radially inner side of the tread. Each of the beads includes a core and an apex extending from the core in a radially outward direction, and the apex of each of the beads has an outer edge positioned on a radially outer side of an edge of the tread surface.
Motorcycle tire
A motorcycle tire that includes a carcass as a skeleton composed of at least one carcass ply extending toroidally between a pair of bead portions and folded and engaged around a pair of bead cores embedded in each of the pair of bead portions and a belt composed of at least one belt layer arranged on the outer side of the carcass in the tire radial direction. A flipper is arranged between the carcass and a bead core, which wraps the bead core from the inside in the tire radial direction, and the outer side end portion of the flipper in the tire width direction extends to the inside in the tire width direction from the end portion of the belt in the tire width direction.
STUDDED TIRE
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a studded pneumatic tire for a vehicle, the tire comprising studs, at least one ply, at least one metal belt, a cap layer forming at least part of a running surface of the studded pneumatic tire, an underlayer made of a first rubber compound, and an intermediate layer made of a second rubber compound, the intermediate layer being arranged, at least partially, between the underlayer and the cap layer, wherein the method comprises steps of forming an annular belt comprising a metal belt, the underlayer, the intermediate layer, and the cap layer, then arranging the annular belt onto an annular carcass comprising the at least one ply to form a preform, vulcanizing the preform, and installing studs. The invention further relates to a studded pneumatic tire for a vehicle.
