Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire mountable on a 15 tapered specified rim includes a bead core, a carcass, a steel cord reinforcing layer, a bead rubber layer, and a first reinforcing rubber layer. A distance from a second line segment to a third line segment is from 4 mm to 8 mm; a side of an outer portion and a side of an inner portion of a bead base portion bend at an inflection point located in a range from 8 mm to 18 mm from the first intersection point; and an angle formed by an extension line drawn from the side of the outer portion inward in the tire radial direction and the side of the inner portion is from 4.5 to 14.5.
PNEUMATIC TIRE COMPRISING OUTER APEX
The present invention provides a pneumatic tire that provides improved durability while maintaining or improving good handling stability. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including an outer apex formed from a rubber composition, the rubber composition having a thermal conductivity of 0.45 W/m.Math.K or higher.
Pneumatic radial tire with specified bead portions
A pneumatic radial tire includes a bead filler, a carcass ply, a steel protection layer, and an organic fiber protection layer. A reinforcing rubber sandwiches a wind-up end of the steel protection layer. A relationship of 1A/B2 is satisfied between a width A from the wind-up end of the steel protection layer to a tire inner surface, and a width B from the wind-up end of the steel protection layer to a tire outer surface. The wind-up end of the carcass ply is covered with a ply cover member. A relationship of 0.8D/C1.2 is satisfied between a thickness C of a second bead filler positioning between the ply cover member and a first bead filler, and a thickness D of the reinforcing rubber positioning between the ply cover member and the steel protection layer.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
The pneumatic tire comprises a carcass and a pair of bead portions each with a bead core and a bead apex. The carcass comprises a carcass ply having a pair of turned-up portions and a main portion therebetween. At least one of the bead portions 4 is provided with a bead reinforcing rubber disposed on the axially outside of the turned-up portion. The bead reinforcing rubber comprises an axially outer first reinforcing rubber layer and an axially inner second reinforcing rubber layer. The complex elastic modulus of the second reinforcing rubber layer is smaller than the complex elastic modulus of the first reinforcing rubber layer.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire has a carcass layer, a side wall rubber which forms an outer surface of a side wall portion, and a rim strip rubber which forms an outer surface of a bead portion. The rim strip rubber extends in a tire radial direction between the carcass layer and the side wall rubber. A height of the rim strip rubber on the basis of an outer diameter position of a bead core buries in the bead portion is equal to or more than 70% of a height of a tire outer diameter position. A thickness Tw of the rim strip rubber at the tire maximum width position is smaller than the maximum thickness Tm of the rim strip rubber which is closer to an outer side in the tire radial direction than the tire maximum width position.
Reinforced bias- or radial-carcass tire
The invention relates to a tire having at least one carcass reinforcement comprising reinforcers, surmounted radially on the outside by a crown reinforcement, itself radially on the inside of a tread, said crown reinforcement being made up of at least one layer of reinforcement elements, said tread being connected to two beads by way of two sidewalls, said beads being intended to come into contact with a rim flange having a rim flange top C, each bead having at least one circumferential reinforcement element, said carcass reinforcement comprising an end at each bead, the end of the carcass reinforcement being turned up once in an outward radial direction of the tire and about said bead wire, so as to form a turnup, then being folded in said radially inward direction so as to form a fold forming a radially external end and three adjacent parts along an axial axis made up of a central part, of an axially internal lateral part, and of an axially external lateral part. The tire is characterized in that the radially external end of the turnup is disposed between the rim flange top C and a point D, said points C and D being situated at the surface of the sidewall and disposed on either side of a point E situated on the sidewall corresponding to the nominal section width, said point D being disposed at a maximum radial length equal to 85% of the length present between the axial end S of the crown reinforcement and the rim flange top C.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire includes a carcass ply that is wound up around a bead core from an inside to an outside in a tire axial direction; an inner metal reinforcing layer and an outer metal reinforcing layer that are wound up on an outside of the carcass ply from the inside to the outside in the tire axial direction; and a buffer layer that is provided between the inner metal reinforcing layer and the outer metal reinforcing layer, and is wound up from the inside to the outside in the tire axial direction. The buffer layer includes a rubber having a higher hardness than those of a carcass rubber configuring the carcass ply and a covering rubber configuring the inner metal reinforcing layer and the outer metal reinforcing layer.
Pneumatic Tire
A pneumatic tire has two carcass layers including carcass cords are laid between a pair of bead portions, bead cores and bead fillers are disposed in the bead portions, and at least two belt layers are disposed on the outer circumferential side of the carcass layers, the tire being characterized in that both ends of the inner carcass layer are folded back from the tire inner side to the tire outer side around the bead cores, and the ends of the folded back portions of the inner carcass layer are disposed between the innermost belt layer and the outer carcass layer, while both ends of the outer carcass layer are disposed so as to pass between a main portion of the inner carcass layer and the bead fillers, and both ends of the outer carcass layer terminate at the bead portions without being folded back around the bead cores.
