Pot stand with removable water tray
A device is disclosed including a pot stand configured to hold a plant within a pot. The device includes a first platform configured to hold the pot and to permit runoff water from the pot to drain through the first platform and a second platform rigidly attached below the first platform holding a removable runoff collection container collecting water from the first platform, wherein the runoff collection container is removable without moving the pot.
PLANTER BASE ATTACHMENT FOR OPEN-ENDED PRODUCTS
A number of planter base attachments are disclosed which can be fitted to an open-ended product, such as a plastic drainage pipe, to create a planter. The planter base attachment incorporates a base with raised sidewalls which fit into an open end of an open-ended product. The raised sidewalls engage the interior sidewalls of the open-ended product to create a tight fitting. Despite this tight fit, the planter base attachment allows excess moisture to drain through drainage routes disposed in the raised sidewalls. These drainage routes direct moisture to a catchment lip or tray connected to the base. A shelf sits transverse to the raise sidewalls and serves as the bottom side of the planter, which holds in growth media and adds rigidity to the attachment's overall structure.
Flower Pot
A flower pot includes a main body and a water collection basin. The main body has a receiving cavity and at least one opening formed on a bottom portion thereof. The opening communicates the receiving cavity with an exterior of the main body. The water collection basin is formed underneath the main body, and is integrally extended from the bottom portion of the main body to act as a base for the flower pot.
Top Dripping and Bottom Wicking Assembly and Method of Feeding a Plant
A top dripping and bottom wicking assembly and method of operation feeds a reservoir that controllably drips liquid nutrient solution from above a plant, and also uses capillary action of a planar wick member to draw the liquid nutrient solution into a plant growing medium and plant roots. The assembly works to controllably drip the liquid nutrient onto the plant through sized and dimensioned drip holes that form in the reservoir, while simultaneously dispersing the liquid nutrient solution through a planar wick member to disperse liquid nutrient solution to a plant growing medium and the roots of the plant. Stakes hold the reservoir above the plant. The wick member is flat and forms a central opening to allow passage of the plant. A plant support member retains the plant in an upright position. The plant support member forms wicking holes to enable passage of liquid nutrients from the wick.
Direct Water Feed Plant Container
A container assembly for irrigation of plants comprising: an outer container; an inner container receiving in the outer container, so that an inner container rim and an outer container rim are adjacent; a recess defined between the inner container and the outer container; an internal hose received in the recess, having a portion extending out of the outer container and attached to a subsurface irrigation system, supplying water between 30 psi and 50 psi, to the internal hose; and, a water control cap attached to the internal hose having an output control for controlling the amount of water delivered to an internal area of the inner container.
SHELL PLANTER FOR GROWER'S PLANTER
A planter assembly is provided. The planter assembly includes a grower planter and a shell planter. The grower planter includes an upper distal end. The grower planter includes an upper distal end. The shell planter is structured to enclose said grower planter. That is, when the grower planter is disposed in the shell planter, the grower planter distal end is disposed subjacent to the shell planter distal end. Further, in an exemplary arrangement, a shell planter body sidewall distal end subjacent, inner surface is sized relative to the grower planter body sidewall distal end maximum cross-sectional area to be one of a corresponding size, a closely corresponding size, or a snuggly corresponding size.
Indexing plants in two-dimensional and three-dimensional space in a controlled growing environment
A crop production system for a controlled plant growing environment is provided. A first assembly comprises a first sub-assembly that itself comprises a first plurality of arms radiating outward from a central portion, wherein each arm is separated from two adjacent arms of the first plurality of arms by respective angles, each arm has a first end proximal to the central portion and a second end distal to the central portion, and each arm is configured to support a plurality of plant growth modules. The plurality of plant growth modules may be moved in a first direction miming from the first end to the second end of each arm of the first plurality of arms.
Potted Plant Netting System
The container netting system is comprised of a pot, saucer, and a net. The net is positioned around the pot and saucer to restrict the access to the interior of the saucer. The mesh openings of the net are sized to prevent a mosquito, or other bug, from accessing the water to lay eggs.
DRAINAGE COLLECTION POTS FOR PLANTS
A container for a plant may include a base having an axis, a width transverse to the axis, a bottom, and a sidewall extending axially upward from and circumscribing the base. A tier of holes may be formed in the base. The holes in the tier may span a substantially entire width of the base. In addition, the tier of holes may be located at a substantially lowest elevation of the base to define a trough at the bottom of the base.
PLANT CONTAINER
A plant growing system includes a base component; and a container disposed on top of the base component. The container includes a container body having a floor surface at a lower end, and a wall having a lower edge coupled to the floor surface and extending upward from the perimeter of the floor surface to an upper edge. A drainage port is disposed through the wall near the lower edge of the wall.
