Double-use nozzle adapter
11718276 · 2023-08-08 · ·

A double-use nozzle adapter includes a main body, a switch unit, and a needle unit. The switch unit includes a shifting member and two rigid retaining members. The rigid retaining members are arranged between the shifting member and the main body. The shifting member shifts the rigid retaining member between a first position and a second position. The needle unit is slidably installed in the main body and includes a needle. In the first position, the shifting member drives the rigid retaining member to press against the needle, thereby preventing the needle from moving with respect to the main body and making the needle connectable to a Schrader valve. In the second position, the rigid retaining member moves between the shifting member and the main body, so as to allow the needle to move with respect to the main body and make the needle connectable to a Presta valve.

A system and method provide automatic vehicle tire air pressure monitoring, warning, and maintenance for a vehicle. The vehicle includes a controller, wheel rims having tires coupled to wheel hubs, an air compressor configured to inflate the tires, a pressure sensor contained within each wheel rim on a vehicle for measuring air pressure within a tire located on each wheel rim, the compressor coupled to the tire rims for providing needed pressurized air, the compressor, an air pressure line connecting the compressor to the wheel rims, a driver display providing a warning to a driver, and a controller. The controller reads an air pressure value of the air pressure within each tire, determines whether the air pressure values within each tire, when one or more of the air pressure values are below the pre-determined value, activates the compressor to add air to each of the four tires needing the air pressure, and provides the driver a visual status of the air pressure values within in each of the tires and a visual status of the compressor state.

Inflation/deflation system

An inflation/deflation system for a tire in tire systems such as those having an inner bladder and an outer ground engaging tire is provided in which the inflation/deflation system is adapted to inflate/deflate a tire, inflate a bladder, and inflate a tire utilizing pressurized air from the bladder. The system utilizes a specialized valve and passageway system which utilizes pressurized fluid to operate a timer wheel valve to inflate the tire and/or bladder without requiring electric power at the wheel and utilizes a low power function to inflate the tire from the bladder. The utilization of the bladder to provide a quick tire inflation is particularly useful in agricultural applications utilizing tire with large volumes.

Tire inflation valve equipped with adjusting system for a TPMS sensor

A tire inflation valve associable with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor includes a stem ending in a head equipped with a head body and an adjustable insert associable with the TPMS sensor by a connection element and hinged to the head body to rotate about a transverse axis and allow position adjustment of the TPMS sensor. The adjustable insert allows modifying inclination of the TPMS sensor according to different use conditions.

Tire pressure control valve assembly

A valve assembly for a tire pressure control system used to control tire pressure of a vehicle has a unitary body and one or more valves. The unitary body has attachment points for mounting the unitary body to a vehicle wheel end, one or more valve cavities formed in the unitary body, and a plurality of air passages formed in the unitary body. The plurality of air passages have an air supply passage that is connectable to an air supply and a tire supply chamber for connecting to a tire of the vehicle. The air supply passage and the tire supply chamber are connected to each of the one or more valve cavities. Each valve has a valve element mounted to the valve cavity, an air supply chamber in communication with the air supply passage, and a tire supply chamber in communication with the tire supply passage.
