Transmitter for wheel assemblies
A transmitter is configured to be attached to each of wheel assemblies in a vehicle and execute a process in accordance with a command included in a trigger signal. The transmitter includes a condition detecting section, a trigger receiving section which receives, as the trigger signal, an unmodulated wave having a received signal strength indication a transmitting section, and a controlling section. When the trigger receiving section receives the unmodulated wave, the controlling section causes the transmitting section to transmit the signal in response to the unmodulated wave. The controlling section is configured to execute an accumulation process to accumulate reception time of the unmodulated wave from a starting point in time, and shift into a restriction state to restrict a response to the unmodulated wave when the accumulated reception time reaches a predetermined time.
AIRCRAFT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A computer-implemented method of compressing a data set including a plurality of historical tire monitoring measurements spaced by a first time interval. The method includes discarding particular ones of the historical tire monitoring measurements which are older than a first threshold age, such that historical tire monitoring measurements which are older than the first threshold age are retained at a second time interval that is longer than the first time interval.
AIRCRAFT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A computer-implemented method of tire maintenance including: receiving data of a plurality of tire gas pressure measurements each measurement having an associated time; analyzing the received data to determine maintenance information, wherein the maintenance information comprises at least one of: an inflation event, a maximum pressure, a minimum pressure and a tire replacement event; and providing an indication based the determined maintenance information.
AUTOMATIC AIR TIRE TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM
A system and method provide automatic vehicle tire air pressure monitoring, warning, and maintenance for a vehicle. The vehicle includes a controller, wheel rims having tires coupled to wheel hubs, an air compressor configured to inflate the tires, a pressure sensor contained within each wheel rim on a vehicle for measuring air pressure within a tire located on each wheel rim, the compressor coupled to the tire rims for providing needed pressurized air, the compressor, an air pressure line connecting the compressor to the wheel rims, a driver display providing a warning to a driver, and a controller. The controller reads an air pressure value of the air pressure within each tire, determines whether the air pressure values within each tire, when one or more of the air pressure values are below the pre-determined value, activates the compressor to add air to each of the four tires needing the air pressure, and provides the driver a visual status of the air pressure values within in each of the tires and a visual status of the compressor state.
TYRE MONITORING DEVICE AND METHOD
A tire monitoring device configured to be mounted on a wheel and including: a pressure sensor for sensing an inflation pressure of a tire on the wheel; a wireless communication interface configured to receive data indicative of a command to indicate tire pressure, wherein the wireless communication interface is configured to communicate with at least one other tire monitoring device; a storage storing a predetermined pressure value; an indicator configured to provide a first indication and a second indication, wherein the first indication is different from the second indication; and a processing system configured to operate the indicator to provide the first indication or the second indication responsive to receipt of the command to indicate tire pressure, and based at least in part on the inflation pressure and the predetermined pressure value.
DEVICE FOR MEASURING TIRE PRESSURE
A measurement device for measuring the pressure of a wheel (3) of a vehicle, the measurement device comprising a stationary portion (5) and a movable portion (14) for being driven in rotation by the wheel, the stationary portion including a first printed circuit (7) having at least one first track formed thereon defining a first winding, the movable portion including a second printed circuit (16) having at least one second track formed thereon defining a second winding, the second printed circuit being arranged to be connected to a pressure sensor (15), the first winding and the second winding being coupled together to form a wireless communication channel, the measurement device being arranged in such a manner that the pressure sensor is electrically powered by the stationary portion via the wireless communication channel, and in such a manner that uplink data comprising pressure measurement data is transmitted to the stationary portion (5) by the movable portion (14) via the wireless communication channel.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
A tire side device includes a vibration detection unit that outputs a detection signal according to a magnitude of vibration of a tire, an air pressure detection unit that detects the tire pressure, a data acquisition unit that calculates a contact length of the tire with a road surface based on the detection signal and acquires a wheel load data that is a data related to the wheel load based on the contact length, and a data transmission unit that transmits a data related to the tire pressure and the wheel load data. A vehicle side device includes a receiving unit that receives data on tire pressure and wheel load data, a threshold setting unit that sets an alarm threshold for tire pressure based on the wheel load data, and an alarm determination unit that determines that the tire pressure has decreased when the tire pressure indicated by the data on the tire pressure decreases below the alarm threshold.
Tire pressure sensor
The present invention provides a tire pressure sensor, including a housing, a PCBA installed within the housing, a power supply device installed within the housing and electrically connected to the PCBA, and an antenna connected to the PCBA. The antenna is wrapped around the PCBA, and at least one turn of the antenna is wrapped around the PCBA. An effective space of the antenna may be particularly enlarged by wrapping the antenna around the PCBA, thereby improving efficiency of the antenna, increasing a signal transmitting distance of the antenna, and enhancing signal transmission stability and anti-interference capability of the antenna, so that an automobile receiver can stably receive, in real time, information such as internal pressure and a temperature of the tire detected by the PCBA, better implementing real-time monitoring of the air pressure, the temperature, and the like within the tire.
Method for extracting changes in tire characteristics
A method for extracting changes in characteristics of a tire supporting a vehicle is provided. The method includes extracting selected tire characteristics from at least one sensor mounted on the tire. The selected tire characteristics are transmitted to a remote processor and are stored in a historical data log that is in communication with the remote processor. At least one tire characteristic of interest is selected, and a time series decomposition model is applied to data from the historical data log to delineate exogenous inputs from an underlying trend in the selected tire characteristic of interest. A learning model is applied to the underlying trend in the selected tire characteristic of interest to model a relationship between the selected tire characteristic of interest and a condition of the tire. A prediction value for a condition of the tire is output from the learning model.
