Vehicle-mounted carrying apparatus
A cargo carrier is removably attachable to a trailer hitch on a vehicle. Multiple support arms are attached to a center hitch arm, with a locating pin protruding from the outer end of some or all of the support arms, and wherein there are at least two locating pins. The arrangement of the locating pins is configured to correspond to an arrangement of holes in the bottom of an object to be carried. Some embodiments support the weight of the object at small regions surrounding each locating pin. Some embodiments support the weight of the object over the spans of the support arms. Various locating pin arrangements enable carrying of different objects.
CONNECTOR FOR CONNECTING TRAILERS IN MOBILE ROBOTIC DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A mobile robotic device, a connector for connecting trailers in mobile robotic device and a method of controlling the device for yaw control and pitch control are provided. The connector includes: a first body; a second body connected to the first body and rotatable with respect to the first body about a first axis; a third body connected to the first body and rotatable with respect to the first body about a second axis; and a fourth body connected to the second body and rotatable with respect to the second body about a third axis, wherein the connector is switchable between a yaw control mode in which the second body is driven to rotate with respect to the first body in a horizontal plane and a pitch control mode in which the second body is driven to rotate with respect to the first body in a vertical plane.
ALIGNING HITCH DEVICE
An aligning hitch device prevents a pin from being lifted inadvertently resulting in undesired disengagement of the hitch connection. The device includes a hitch frame including a guide plate. A hitch pin is slidably coupled to the hitch frame. An index collar has a notch. The hitch pin is slidable to fully clear a hitch space in the hitch frame only when the notch is aligned with and receives the guide plate. A biasing spring extends between the index collar and the hitch frame wherein the biasing spring urges the index collar away from the guide plate.
QUICK CONNECT PIVOT JOINTS
A quick connect assembly includes a first leg, a second leg, a pivot pin, and a pivot arm. The first and second legs defined a gap therebetween. The first leg defines a pin hole and the second leg defines a key hole and a keyway. The pin hole and the key hole are coaxially aligned with one another and the keyway is in communication with the key hole. The pivot arm includes a pivot head sized and dimensioned to pass through the key hole and a neck sized and dimensioned to pass through the keyway as the pivot head passes through the key hole. The pivot arm is pivotal about the pivot pin within the gap between an unlocked position in which the neck is aligned with the keyway and a locked position in which the neck is misaligned with the keyway.
Pin-drop hitch mount assembly with biased pin retainer mechanism
A hitch mount assembly includes a drawbar receiver configured to receive a drawbar and a pin receiver that is supported by the drawbar receiver. Furthermore, the assembly includes a pin that is received within the pin receiver and a latch that is supported for movement between a first position and a second position. The latch, in the first position, is configured to engage the pin and retain the pin in a retracted position. The latch, in the second position, is configured to disengage and release the pin for movement of the pin from the retracted position to an extended position. Moreover, the assembly includes a biasing member configured to bias the latch toward the first position to retain the pin in the retracted position.
Pin-drop hitch mount assembly with biased pin retainer mechanism
A pin-drop hitch mount assembly includes a drawbar receiver that defines a drawbar cavity and a pin opening that is open to the drawbar cavity. The assembly also includes a pin that is supported for movement within the pin opening between first and second unhitched positions and a hitched position. The hitch mount assembly further includes a latch that is supported for movement relative to the drawbar receiver between a first position, an intermediate position, and a second position. The latch, in the first position, engages and supports the pin in the first unhitched position. The latch, in the second position, disengages the pin for movement toward the hitched position. The hitch mount assembly includes a biasing member that biases the latch from the intermediate position toward the first position to return the pin to the first unhitched position as the drawbar moves out of the drawbar cavity.
Hitch Mountable Workout Apparatus
A hitch mountable workout apparatus for providing a portable sturdy workout apparatus includes a hitch mount having a hitch end and a shaft end. The hitch end selectively engages a trailer hitch. A vertical main shaft has a shaft back side attached to the shaft end of the hitch mount, a shaft front side, a shaft left side, a shaft right side, a shaft top end, and a shaft bottom end. A bottom support has a support tube slidably engaged within the shaft bottom end and a support foot coupled to the support tube. The bottom support is adjustable to rest the support foot on the ground while the hitch mount is engaged with the trailer hitch. A pull-up bar has pull-up tube slidably engaged within the shaft top end, a cantilever coupled to the pull-up tube, and a crossbar coupled to the pull-up tube.
COUPLING DEVICE, CARRIER, AND CARRYING SYSTEM
A coupling device includes a coupling device body that includes a coupling pin. The coupling pin projects upward from the coupling device body. The coupling device body includes a support mechanism that supports the coupling pin so as to be freely movable in the direction of one line in a horizontal plane. The coupling device is included in the carrier. During coupling between the carrier and a carried object, the coupling pin is freely movable in the direction of at least one line in the horizontal plane and enabled to smoothly move to a position at which the coupling is performed.
Gooseneck puck extender
A gooseneck ball extender is designed to mate with a center socket and receivers mounted to a towing vehicle and provide a gooseneck bell that is offset from the center socket. The extender has a cylindrical shaft with captured balls that can be moved between a retracted position and an extended position through a spring-loaded locking shaft that moves between an unlocked and locked position. The locking shaft is biased towards the locked position where the captured balls are extended. The extender has an outrigger portion that has puck locks. The puck locks are rotatable between a locked position and an unlocked position. As attached to the towing vehicle, the outrigger portion provides additional support to the gooseneck ball.
