Seedbed holding unit
There is provided a seedbed holding unit capable of reliably and firmly holding a seedbed with a simple structure, causing no damage to a plant. A seedbed holding unit 160 that holds a seedbed B used in plant cultivation includes a first holding member 170 and a second holding member 180 that are rotatable relative to each other about a predetermined rotation axis A, the first holding member 170 is provided with a first claw part 173 in a fixed state, the second holding member 180 is provided with a second claw part 183 in a fixed state, and the seedbed B is held between the first claw part 173 and the second claw part 183 by rotating the first holding member 170 and the second holding member 180 relative to each other.
Agricultural apparatus and method
A conveyor system (4, 5) moves vertical poles (2) in an agricultural facility between a growing area (20) and a workstation (W). Each pole carries plant growing containers (3) at multiple levels (H1-H9). An irrigation reservoir (30) may be mounted atop each pole. Irrigation lines (31-33) from the reservoir may be individually metered (35) at each level to compensate for differing water pressure with height. Sensors (40) in the reservoir and at each level of the poles may provide a controller (36) with data input. The controller may impose different growing conditions in different areas of the facility, including vertically different grow areas (20A, 20B), and controls pole movements and locations selectively to provide a sequence of poles at the workstation ready to harvest on a demand schedule. The workstation may have multiple heights (W1, W2, W3) for tall poles that increase plant density per facility footprint.
DEVICE FOR THE TREATMENT OF SUBSTRATE BODIES WITH PLANTS
A device (1) for administering a fluid to substrate bodies provided with a plant includes a frame (2), at least one position station provided on the frame (2) for one or more substrate bodies and at least one fluid device at the position station for urging the fluid into the substrate body, wherein the fluid device includes at least one fluid dispenser, a source (5) of fluid and a conduit (15) for fluid situated in between them, as well as pressure element (6) for supplying a dose of fluid under pressure to the fluid dispenser.
Apparatus for breeding plants
The present invention relates to an apparatus for breeding plants having at least two units arranged in the apparatus for the reception of a plant, wherein at least two units are arranged in a first row and at least one of these units is movable relative to at least one further unit of the first row so that their spacing from one another is changeable.
Pot stand with removable water tray
A device is disclosed including a pot stand configured to hold a plant within a pot. The device includes a first platform configured to hold the pot and to permit runoff water from the pot to drain through the first platform and a second platform rigidly attached below the first platform holding a removable runoff collection container collecting water from the first platform, wherein the runoff collection container is removable without moving the pot.
EJECTION TRANSPLANTER
A device for robotic transfer of a plantlet from a plantlet holder is provided, the device comprising an opener for opening of the plantlet holder wherein the opener comprises an actuator component for connection to a robotic tool head. Related systems, kits, and methods are further provided.
Transplanting Device and Transplanting Method
Provided is a transplanting device for performing transplanting between a plurality of culture medium boards cultivating a plurality of plants planted in an aligned manner. The transplanting device includes a transplanting mechanism for transplanting the plants, where the transplanting mechanism performs alternately a step of arranging plants having been arranged in a grid form on a culture medium board of a transplanting source, into a zigzag form on a culture medium board of a transplanting destination, and a step of arranging plants having been arranged in a zigzag form on a culture medium board of a transplanting source, into a grid form on a culture medium board of a transplanting destination.
Plant management system and plant management method
Provided are a plant management system and a plant management method, which do not entail a substantial workload, cost, construction period, or installation space; enable a system to be easily constructed, altered and expanded; have a small maintenance load; enable processing systems to be distributed and arranged in geographically separate locations and in locations where connecting the processing systems is not easy; and are capable of preventing the occurrence of large-scale problems. A plant management system 100 has: a plurality of processing systems 140, 150; and memory tags 112, 122, wherein processing systems 140, 150 include reader-writers 142, 152, 153 and processing devices 141, 151, and, by writing plant management data into the memory tag 112 by means of the reader-writer 142 and then reading the plant management data by the reader-writer 152 of the processing system 150, the plant management data is transferred between the processing systems 140, 150.
PLANTING APPARATUS OF NURSERY TREES AND PLANTING VEHICLE OF NURSERY TREES
A planting apparatus of nursery tree includes an auger, a guide member having a hollow tube shape, a blade member, sliders, and motors The auger, the guide member and the blade member form the nested structure of the three-layer which are centered upon the auger, and the auger and the blade member are rotation members rotating on the same vertical axis line. By such a constitution, desired planting hole can easily be excavated, and the ground around the excavated hole and a root clump of the nursery tree can be leveled, covered and pressed by the blade member without forming a gap while holding the nursery tree by the guide member not to be inclined.
FLORAL PACKAGING METHOD AND APPARATUS
An apparatus and method for the protection and transportation of floral arrangements are shown. The apparatus includes a container defining a central volume. A tray is included for the suspending of a floral arrangement within the central volume. A decorative base is configured to surround a portion of the flowers. An insert is in communication with the container and configured to cradle a portion of the decorative base so as to restrict movement. The floral arrangement is tied or coupled to a portion of the tray. An optional temperature regulating device may be inserted to assist in maintaining the freshness of the floral arrangement.
