Vining Plant Support via Posts and Modular Braces
A plant support system that is anchored into the ground to provide stable support to a vining plant by use of a series of posts and braces. The post is installed into the ground. A brace-like attachment is then attached to the post at any location along the length of the post. The brace-like attachment can be installed on the post at any point during the growth of the vining plant. Additionally, there is a connection piece that can connect one post to another post in order to vertically or in another direction that is necessary, based on the needs of the specific vining plant, to extend the reach of the support system. This allows the full support system to grow indeterminately along with the vining plant. This support system supports the plant from a lower elevation to a higher elevation, in response to the growth of the plant.
Device for tensioning plant support wires, support system of said plants comprising such device and the method of support thereof
A device for the tensioning of wires supporting the vegetation of plants that includes at least one wire tensioning member, one support member adapted to support the tensioning member in rotation, and a blocking means to block the rotation of said tensioning member. The tensioning member includes a metal fork bent and the support member has at least one through-hole penetrated by the tensioning member so that said tensioning member rotates with respect to the support member. The means for blocking the rotation of the tensioning member include at least one recess or groove that reversibly engages with the tensioning member.
Trellis posts
A trellis post comprises a moulded plastic tubular element defining a central post, the central post providing an interior and defining two flanges extending from opposed sides of the central post. The flanges extend along the length of the tubular element and define a series of spaced apart slots for receiving wires. The trellis post defines a ground engaging spike at one end. The moulded plastic tubular element is reinforced with an internal stake extending through the interior of the post and a supporting/filling material is located between the stake and the interior of the central post. The filling material may be a foamed plastics material, mortar, concrete, and Portland cement.
PLANT COVER DEVICE WITH TUBULAR SHAPE AND BASE MEMBER AND RELATED METHODS
An IPC device may include a pole in a ground surface. The IPC device also includes an upper end with tapered walls extending inwardly from a base and into an apex to abut the pole, and a seam extending along a peripheral edge of the tapered walls. The upper end defines a plant-receiving cavity. The IPC device also includes a lower tubular end opposite the upper end and having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a major mesh surface extending between the first end and the second end. The lower tubular end also defines the plant-receiving cavity therein. The IPC also includes a medial seam coupling the base of the upper end and the first end of the lower tubular end. The IPC also includes a curved flexible support carried by the medial seam. The IPC also includes a base member.
ORNAMENTAL SEED AND PLANT GROWING SYSTEM
An ornamental seed and plant system includes a growing system with a growing pot that supports a potted plant and that has tie-down connectors for securing cordage to restrain a plant branch in a desired position to increase plant yield. A lid with additional tie-down connectors can be attached to the growing pot, and enables additional flexibility and support in securing plant branches in desired positions. The seed and plant system also includes a vending system having a vending machine that enables a consumer to purchase goods subject to authorization restrictions. The vending machines includes an identification reader that scans and interprets a form of consumer identification to either allow or prohibit the consumer from obtaining the goods. The vending machine may be located in a storage containment structure that also houses other horticultural products, including the growing system.
Growing method of fruit trees and associated tree
A method for the production of fruit trees including the steps of: grafting of an offshoot or propagation material of the variety to be propagated on a grafting point of a rootstock, to form a tree, planting of the rootstock in a nursery, pot or greenhouse ground and subsequent transplanting of the developed tree in a production ground; wherein the planting takes place arranging the rootstock tilted to one side to form with the ground an angle of pre-set amplitude, smaller than 90° and preferably of 45° and with the offshoot in a substantially vertical position; in the transplanting step the rootstock is arranged in the production ground in a substantially vertical position, so that the trunk of the tree, which is angled in respect to the rootstock, forms a main side branch from which vine-like branches or side branches orientated upwards sprout.
TOTEM PLANT SUPPORT
Disclosed are example embodiments of a sectional interlocking plant support system providing a stand for supporting growing plants in soil comprising a stake and a pole, coupled to the stake or other devices, the pole comprising a porous tubular body, the porous tubular body formed by a plurality of porous openings on the pole, the pole configured to be stackable on a second pole, the height being adjustable be selecting a number of poles to connect together. The porous openings on the pole comprising at least one hole shaped in at least one of a circle, a triangle, a square, a hexagon, a pentagon, a heptagon, an octagon, a nonagon, a polygon having more than nine sides, or a irregular shape.
AGRICULTURAL STAKE TO SUPPORT PLANTS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
An agricultural stake to support plant includes a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) elongated member comprising a top end and a bottom end, and an exterior coating impregnated with an aggregate covering an exterior surface of the elongated member. The exterior coating is configured to provide purchase to a line attached to the elongated member. A cap may be secured over the top end of the elongated member and is configured to withstand a force used to drive the elongated member into a ground surface
PLANT GROWTH SUPPORT
The present document describes a plant growth support, comprising: a stake having an elongated body with a longitudinal axis and having a first end being removably fixable to the ground, a second end having a connecting member being sized and shaped for receiving a rod in said longitudinal axis and at least one connecting member projecting at an angle from the longitudinal axis for receiving a rod, and an anti-tipping member radially extending from the elongated body and being located between the first and second ends for preventing tipping of the stake in the ground; and at least one vertical rod received in one of the connecting members, the vertical rod is adapted to receive at least one of a plant part, a horizontal rod, a trellis, slanted fingers, and an irrigation system part.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING VERTICAL MEMBERS
A system and method for supporting vertical members is disclosed. The invention is comprised of an adjustable jack post with angled flanges on each end that allow it to support leaning vertical members, such as but not limited to bent trees and swollen retaining walls etc. The adjustable jack post can be expanded or retracted under load manually by means of a hand crank that engages a bevel and worm gear system located proximally on the post. An object of the invention is to support and/or correct the angle of vertical members. For example, a user wishing to correct a leaning tree after a storm can anchor one end of the post in the ground, brace the other end against the tree and expand the post slowly over time using the hand crank allowing it to grow upright once again.
