Axle unit
The invention relates to an axle unit comprising an axle tube and a link element, wherein the axle tube substantially extends along a tube axis, wherein the link element has a joining portion with a first welding portion and a second welding portion, wherein the link element is arranged with its joining portion adjacent to the axle tube and substantially transversely with respect to the tube axis, wherein, in the first welding portion and in the second welding portion, a welded joint can be produced between the link element and the axle tube.
Liftable axle suspension
A suspension for a vehicle includes a pair of opposing upper and lower control arms that longitudinally locate an axle along the frame. The upper and lower control arms include first ends pivotably mounted to the ends of the axle at upper pivotable axle joints and a second lower pivotable axle joints, respectively. The upper and lower control arms include second ends that are pivotably mounted to frame hanger brackets at upper and lower pivotable hanger joints, respectively. The frame hanger bracket are laterally interposed between an upper and lower hanger joint so that an upper pivotable hanger joint is on one side of each frame hanger and a lower pivotable hanger joint is on an opposite side of the each frame hanger.
PARKING LOT SWEEPER HEAD WHEEL GUIDE
A road or parking lot sweeper head comprises a sweeper base chassis comprised of a wheel carriage having at least two wheels attached. The wheel carriage attaches to an outer side of the sweeper base chassis and comprises a first wheel on a first side of the sweeper base chassis and a second wheel on a second side of the sweeper base chassis. Wherein the first wheel and the second wheel position the sweeper head above a surface at a proper operating height for an associated vacuum and to engage the surface in operation and prevent any portion of the sweeper head from contacting and damaging said surface.
Axle unit
An axle unit includes an axle tube and a suspension arm element, wherein the axle tube extends substantially along a tube axis, wherein the suspension arm element has a first joining region comprising a recess, wherein the first joining region of the suspension arm element is adjacent to the axle tube, wherein the suspension arm element is substantially transverse to the tube axis, and wherein a weld portion between the suspension arm element and the axle tube is located in the first joining region.
Vehicle rear suspension and methods of operation
A vehicle rear suspension system is provided which determines the movement of the rear wheels in relation to the chassis of the vehicle as the vehicle drives over irregular surfaces. Different components of a rear suspension act to limit or control the movement of the rear differential along specific directions or axes.
AXLE SUSPENSION
The invention relates to an axle suspension on a vehicle frame, comprising: an axle bracket which in its longitudinal direction is arranged transversely to the vehicle frame and at its longitudinal ends each is provided with a wheel carrier, a pendulum support which is connected with the axle bracket via a swivel bearing and is accommodated in a self-aligning bearing attached to the vehicle frame, wherein the swivel bearing has a swivel axis which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle frame.
CONNECTION BRIDGE DEVICE
A connection bridge device is suggested for connecting a multipoint link to a vehicle axle, particularly a multipart vehicle axle. The connection bridge device comprises at least one base body for receiving and dissipating forces and/or torques transmitted between the vehicle axle and the multipoint link, at least one axle fastening unit for fastening the base body to the vehicle axle, and at least one link coupling unit for coupling the base body to the multipoint link, which link coupling unit is intersected by a main extension plane of the base body.
VEHICLE CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION SYSTEM
A haulage vehicle has a suspension system providing a flexible connection between a vehicle chassis and at least one axle housing. The system has three longitudinal link members, a transverse link member, and a resilient member adjacent each end of the axle housing; all of which are connected at one end to the vehicle chassis and at an opposite end to the axle housing. The transverse link member substantially prevents movement of the axle housing in a transverse direction, and the three longitudinal link members are substantially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the chassis and spaced apart, providing a three-point connection between the chassis and axle housing. The three-point connection keeps the axle housing in a substantially transverse orientation relative to the chassis, preventing rotation of the axle housing about the longitudinal axis of the axle housing while allowing movement of the axle housing in the vertical plane.
