PLANT SUPPORT AND GROWTH DIRECTING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
This invention is able to enhance growth of plants and increase plant production by increasing exposure to air and light and stressing the plant. The apparatus has at least one post and at least one crown attached thereto. At least one of the crowns has a plurality of spaces sized and configured to receive, stress and support branches of a plant to define user desired growing pattern of the plant. In one configuration, the spaces are interstitial between coils of a coiled member, such as a spring, that is attached to or part of the crown. The crown is surfaced with an abrasive material such as a sand or polymer grit thereby more effectively holding the plant in place and providing a means to abrade or stress the plant to stimulate a growth response which can be controlled over the internet by means of a cellular microcontroller.
Plant support collar
A plant support collar for supporting plant stems includes a central frame. The collar further includes a first hook member and a second hook member extending from the central frame in different directions. The first hook member and the second hook member each have a free end, the free end together with the central frame defining a passage for accommodating plant stems in the respective hook member. The central frame includes a support area configured to abut an intersection of the stems.
Plant holder, system therefor and method for processing thereof
A plant holder includes at least one cell which defines a plant position and which is configured to receive plant material during use. A clamp includes a clamping position in which plant material is to be clamped in the cell and an open position in which plant material is to be arranged in and/or removed from the clamp. The clamp is provided with at least one actuator which is configured to be engaged externally in order to open the clamp. A system includes such a plant holder. A method of processing a plant holder including a clamp, includes the steps of: opening the clamp; arranging plant material in the clamp and/or removing it therefrom; and closing the clamp.
System and methods for directing plant growth
Systems and methods for directing plant growth include a first attachment unit and a second attachment unit, both units being identical. Each attachment unit includes a body. A linking head is connected to the body and has at least one or a tab and a plurality of grooves. The linking head is substantially circular in shape. Each attachment unit also includes a linking base connected to the body and having another of a tab and a plurality of grooves. The linking base of the first unit is sized to fit together with the linking head of the second unit. The linked attachment units are angularly positionable by placing the tab into one of the plurality of grooves. The system also includes at least one band connectable between the attachment units and a plant.
MEASUREMENT MODULE
The measurement module includes a hollow strut erected to support the plant, at least one introduction port communicating between an interior and an external of the strut, at least one odor sensor disposed at a position corresponding to the at least one introduction port in the interior of the strut to detect an odor of the plant, and a pump connected to the strut to suck outside air from the introduction port into the interior of the strut.
PLANT SUPPORT AND TRAINING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
A plant support system includes a support ring having at least one wall portion, and at least one support beam coupled to the at least one wall portion and configured to increase rigidity of the at least one wall portion. Further, the plant support system also includes a base coupled to the at least one wall portion and having at least one stationary clamping surface; a clamp spine having a movable clamping surface situated opposite the at least one stationary clamping surface; and a plurality of spring leaves coupled to the clamp spine and configured to bias the clamp spine.
STACKABLE AND TIERED MODULAR KIT, ASSEMBLY AND METHOD INCLUDING A PLURALITY OF HOOP SHAPED COMPONENTS FOR SUPPORTING A STEM OF A GROWING PLANT
A kit for providing stem, branch and foliage support for a planting. The kit includes a plurality of hoop shaped bodies, each exhibiting an open interior adapted to encircle and support the planting. A plurality of vertically elongated portions secured about a perimeter of each of said bodies and include upper and lower inter-engaging ends for stacking the bodies in vertically spaced apart and tiered defining fashion. A plurality of elongated ground engagement stakes each include a flattened and intermediate located planar surface adapted for embedding the stakes in combination with an upper located pair of finger graspable retrieval tabs adapted for retracting the stakes. Each of the stakes further include an upper end securing the lower inter-engaging ends of a lower most hoop shaped body.
PLANTING METHOD OF DENDROBIUMNOBILELINDL
The invention relates to a planting method of DendrobiumnobileLindl, it comprises the following steps: Selecting betel palm trees that are more than 5 years old or or more than 6 meters high; Selecting the DendrobiumnobileLindl seedlings with a height of more than 12 cm, with 1 or 2 new buds and complete roots, stems and leaves, and dividing DendrobiumnobileLindl seedlings into 2-4 clumps a group; Combing and aligning the roots of each group of DendrobiumnobileLindlseedlings, taking one group of DendrobiumnobileLindl seedlings and sticking them to the knot of the betel plain tree each time, then using a cotton rope or a tie to wind and fix the DendrobiumnobileLindl seedlings on the betel palm tree trunk from the stems of each group of DendrobiumnobileLindl seedlings; Putting the roots below the stembase of the DendrobiumnobileLindlseedling on the betel palm tree trunk and smearingdendrobium nutrient. It solves the technical problem that the trunks and branches of the tree species selected by the existing methods of planting by sticking trees are not flat enough, it is not easy to fix the Dendrobiumnobile seedlings, and at the same time, it is necessary to destroy the trees planted with dendrobium and cause damage to the trees.
Plant Support Apparatus
The present application discloses a support apparatus having: (a) pole, aligned in an approximately vertical orientation when in use, and a cross section, wherein the pole comprises one or more pairs of diametrically opposed holes, positioned along the length of the pole; (b) a unitary open hoop, approximately in a plane, comprising an elastic material; and further comprising: a first end portion an a second end portion; wherein when in use, the hoop is compressed so that the first end portion and the second end portion are urged past each other to form a parallel locus; and wherein when the hoop is compressed, the first end portion and the second end portion are formed as if bent to mate with and apply an opposed tension to a pair of diametrically opposed holes in the pole; and wherein when the hoop is compressed, the parallel locus engages with the pole to impede the vertical swing of the hoop.
Support systems and methods for trees and bushes
Disclosed herein is a support system for temporarily supporting a plant via a fixed structure of vertical poles which support at least one substantially horizontal support cord, the support system comprising: a substantially vertical alignment wire having a top end and a bottom end; a curve greater than 180 in the top end of the vertical alignment wire forming a hanging hook portion configured to be selectively supported by one of the support cords; at least one supporting bracket coupled to one of the substantially horizontal support cords and capturing the alignment wire and the plant; wherein the alignment wire maintains vertical orientation of the plant substantially above the point at which the plane protrudes from the ground.
