SUSPENSION STRUCTURE AND VEHICLE
20230311601 · 2023-10-05 ·

Various embodiments provide a suspension structure and a vehicle, and relates to the field of vehicle technologies. In some embodiments, the suspension structure includes a leaf spring assembly, an upper arm, a steering knuckle, and a shock absorber. The leaf spring assembly includes two leaf spring constructions arranged in a front-to-rear direction. Both leaf spring constructions are arranged transversely relative to a body structure, and the middle part of each leaf spring construction is fixedly connected to the body structure; and each of the leaf spring constructions is provided with two free ends in a length direction, and each of the free ends is provided with a first mounting portion and a second mounting portion. One end of the upper arm is rotatably connected to the body structure.

Alignment clip for leaf spring suspension

A releasable alignment clip secures a primary leaf spring to one or more secondary leaf springs of a suspension of a vehicle. The releasable alignment clip prevents separation of the primary leaf spring from the secondary leaf spring during normal operation while permitting relative sliding. The releasable alignment clip has a minimum separation force such that in response to a collision forcing a wheel forwardly, the releasable alignment clip deforms and permits separation of the primary leaf spring from the secondary leaf spring to avoid the primary leaf spring from breaking between the alignment clip and a point of attachment to the vehicle. The releasable alignment clip may have a reduced thickness, notches, or one or more perforations to achieve the minimum separation force.

Described is a fibre composite component designed as a spring, comprising at least one spring section and at least one force transfer structure (2). In the end portion forming or surrounding the force transfer element (3) the fibre composite material of the fibre composite component (1) is divided, in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the force transfer structure (2), into at least two fibre composite material strands (4, 4.1, 4.2). Two adjacent fibre composite strands (4, 4.1, 4.2) run in opposite directions, overlapping over a specific angular portion and each forming an eye, with their mutually opposed side faces (7) force-transmittingly connected in the overlapping portion.

BOLT ASSEMBLY FOR SPRING HANGER SYSTEM

An axle hanger includes a web, a first flange extending in a first direction perpendicular to the web, and a second flange extending in the first direction perpendicular to the web, spaced from and parallel to the first flange. A first return extends from the first flange toward the second flange parallel to the web, and a second return extends from the second flange toward the first flange parallel to the web. The axle hanger is easier to install and access in the event a hanger spring needs replacement, and the hanger can be more stably secured to the axle.

Axle spring seat attachment assembly

A spring seat attachment assembly for use with an axle/suspension system having at least one leaf spring and an axle, said attachment assembly including a band and a spring seat. The band may include a locator structure and is fixed to the axle and extends around a portion of the axle between 180 degrees and 360 degrees. The spring seat receives the leaf spring and is fixed to the band.
