DUST COVER, SUSPENSION DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DUST COVER
A dust cover is configured to cover an outer side of a damper extending in a predetermined direction. The dust cover includes bellows portions and a flange portion. The bellows portions are inclined alternately toward a radially outer side and a radially inner side in an axial direction. The flange portion extends radially outward from a cylindrical portion of the dust cover. The flange portion protrudes radially outward from the cylindrical portion of the dust cover by a dimension larger than a height dimension in a radial direction between a radially inner end and a radially outer end of each of the bellows portions. A thickness of the flange portion is larger than a thickness of the radially outer end of each of the bellows portions.
ROTATION INDUCTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A rotation induction device for a vehicle includes an upper case member, a lower case member, a center plate, and a friction reduction part. The upper case member has a piston rod disposed therethrough. The lower case member, disposed under the upper case member, has the piston rod disposed therethrough. The center plate, disposed between the upper and lower case members such that the piston rod passes through the center plate, is configured to induce either one or both of the upper and lower case members to rotate. The friction reduction part, configured to reduce friction, is selectively disposed at a contact surface between the upper case member and the center plate, and a contact surface between the center plate and the lower case member. Each of the upper case member, the lower case member, and the center plate is composed of a synthetic resin material.
ROTATION INDUCTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A rotation induction device for a vehicle includes an upper case member, a lower case member, a center plate, and a lubricant storage part. The lubricant storage part is formed in the center plate and configured to store lubricant therein. Each of the upper case member, the lower case member, and the center plate is composed of a synthetic resin material.
VIBRATION ATTENUATION ASSEMBLY
A vibration attenuation assembly that includes a strut weight configured to attenuate resonant frequency of a vehicle strut assembly. The strut weight has an upper surface and a lower surface. The strut weight has a rod receiving opening that extends from a central area of the upper surface to the lower surface. The upper surface has a conical shape.
INDEPENDENT DRIVE MODULE
An independent drive module includes: an in-wheel motor configured to provide driving force to a wheel of a vehicle; a support arm including a first end connected to a vehicle body and a second end connected to the in-wheel motor, to support the in-wheel motor; a shock absorber module including a first end connected to the in-wheel motor and a second end connected to the vehicle body, the shock absorber being configured to absorb shock between the in-wheel motor and the vehicle body and swivel the in-wheel motor during turning of the vehicle so as to perform both shock absorption and steering; and a steering motor connected to the second end of the shock absorber module to transmit rotational force for the steering to the shock absorber module.
Strut bearing and vehicle strut suspension
Provided is a strut bearing including an upper case and a lower case that are made of a synthetic resin, and an engaging portion for preventing separation of components which are free from any stress exerted thereon during assembly. The strut bearing includes an outwardly-projecting piece row on an inner diameter side of an upper case, and an inwardly-projecting piece row on an inner diameter side of a lower case. Within a relative pivoting range of the upper and lower cases in a use state of the strut bearing, a detachment preventing engagement portion for preventing the upper and lower cases from being separated from each other in the axial direction is provided. Within a predetermined angle range outside the relative pivoting range, the detachment preventing engagement portion is not present.
ENHANCED VEHICLE STABILITY
An assembly includes a leadscrew defining a central axis, a strut movable along the leadscrew upon rotation of the leadscrew, a camber angle of a wheel changeable according to movement of the strut along the leadscrew, and a motor drivably connected to the leadscrew, the motor defining a motor axis, wherein the central axis of the leadscrew is transverse to the motor axis.
Active damper upper mount
The active damper upper mount includes an inner member (11, 111) to which an upper end portion of a rod (22, 122) of an active damper (21, 121) is fixed, an intermediate member (12, 112) that surrounds the inner member in a circumferential direction around a rod axis (O1, O2), an outer member (13, 113) that surrounds the intermediate member in the circumferential direction and is attached to a vehicle body side, a first elastic body (14, 114) that is disposed between the inner member and the intermediate member and supports the inner member and the intermediate member so as to be elastically displaceable relative to each other, and a second elastic body (15, 115) that is disposed between the intermediate member and the outer member and supports the intermediate member and the outer member so as to be elastically displaceable relative to each other.
Roll induced four wheel steering vehicle
The four wheel steering vehicle utilizes a cage system that extends along the longitudinal axis to protect the driver coupled to a center rail chassis. Front and Back independent suspension links extend outward along the lateral axis pivotally connected to the wheel assemblies enabling four wheel independent suspension. A centrally located pivoting shock provides both steering control and suspension attachment for the shock and spring. The vehicle is controlled by the driver using a steering wheel, acceleration pedal, and a brake pedal. The invention provides a feeling of integration with the vehicle as the driver rolls into turns with the vehicle, while minimizing fatigue caused by the continuous resistance to centrifugal cornering forces.
ELECTROMECHANICAL VEHICLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT UNIT AND VEHICLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT METHOD
An electromechanical vehicle height adjustment unit comprises a displaceable member having an abutment surface for abutment of an end of a vehicle spring or for abutment of a vehicle body and a displacement mechanism coupled to the displaceable member and operative to displace the displaceable member in a height direction. The electromechanical vehicle height adjustment unit comprises a rechargeable energy storage device coupled to the electric motor to store electric energy output by the displacement mechanism during a vehicle lowering operation.
